  • Meli

wow even with out coupons this is a great deal thanks!!!

    • Denise Davison

Keep an eye out, there were a lot of packages of Scott Toilet Paper in my ShopRite that hang $0.50 Peelies on them, they did not double, but if you do not have any coupons, $0.50 is better than nothing! 🙂

  • Laurie

Can anyone or is anyone willing to try this deal with the SCOTT blue label Toilet paper (1000 sheets pictured above). I feel that I get way more bang for your buck (although not as soft but thats okay) but would love to know if someone tried that and still got all the catalinas? I appreciate it!!!!!!!!

    • Sharon

I did it with the blue label ones and it worked the same 🙂

      • Laurie

        THANK YOU SHARON!!

  • Tracy

I got a $1/1 Scott, 12 rolls or larger in central CT. Still a good deal, I figure I’ll pay about $1.11 each 🙂 [I will use 2x $1/1 Scott from the 3/16/14 paper and a $1.50/1 coupon that printed for me at SR one day].

  • dani

in another thread, it was posted that the free huggies wipe pack had a tag for the buy $30 get $10 promo. if so, it could be substituted for the cottonelle wipes and reduce the overall oop. has anyone tried a deal like this with huggies wipes?

    • Sharon

I’d be curious if you get the additional $5 Kimberly Clark cat with this deal and the huggies too – I could use those much more than the cottonelle wipes – lol.

      • dani

the scott covers the $20 for the kc $5. you could add anything to reach $30 for the other 2 $5 cats.
one person mentioned a tag on the huggies wipes, and have not yet seen anyone say that it actually counted in their purchase. hoping someone can confirm. freebie fillers are the best kind! 😉

        • Denise Davison

I didnt think of doing it with the Huggies Wipes, so I am definitely going to try that out soon (hopefully today)

  • Staci Piech

This deal will actually work best if you buy (1) Scrubbing Bubbles with Fantastic because there is a $.75/1 (SS 3/16/14) coupon and there is a $.50/1 SR E-coupon, instead of the Cottonelle Wipes because there is no coupon for those!

    • Chris

      AWSOME thanks Staci

      • Staci Piech

        No Problem! 🙂

    • Denise Davison

Great Idea Staci, I actually subbed in a Scrubbing Bubbles the second time to make sure that all of the Cats still printed 🙂

  • Lisa W

Do you have to use the Catalina’s on future purchase of paper product or will they work on any groceries?

    • Staci Piech

Yes, can someone please let us know if the cat’s will work on groceries?

      • Dawn Nicole

I know in the past plenty of people have posted that they used these cat’s on anything with no problems!

      • chel

Nope. It printed specifically for sc johnson and kimberly clark products. Its stated above

      • Dipty Joshi

I checked with my SR in Fair Lawn to see I could use these on groceries and I was told no, because it exclusively tells you which products it could be used on. Not sure if your store will let you use it.

  • Gen

Great deal but I hate when they tell you what you can use the Cat’s on! Argh!

    • T

Me too I feel like I already paid the money not getting it back

      • Denise Davison

The one $5 Catalina for Kimberly Clark can be applied towards anything

        • Dipty Joshi

Yes, only when you do the tp/pt deal, the resulting $5 cat (Kimberly Clark) is useful for anything, but the 2-$5 cat (SR promotion) can be used only for the items specified on the cat, unless your store allows you to use them on other products.

    • Harry

yes, I agree these product specific CATs are really not that great a deal as it looks because even to roll that CAT and stock up, you wont have a lot of the coupons and e-coupons left for the second and subsequent transactions. So you end up paying full price or a bad price for the second and subsequent deals. So have to be really careful and plan well into 2nd or 3rd deal and take into account the price of all the subsequent transactions to really calculate the per item price.

      • dana

i have $1 and $2 my shoprite cats for tp. plan to just get another pack free with coupon, store coupon, and $5 specified products coupon.

  • MicheleAna

I don’t mean to be unlawful but I’ve found that if you have small or cheap item they want you to buy with these types of cats it goes through without a beep. Sometimes if you get the right cashier I’ll even use it without purchases and it goes through.

    • tina

What Do You Mean? Like A Smaller Pack Of Toilet Paper?

      • MicheleAna

I plan to save a few of those really good viva towel coupons for my last kc cat and buy 2 or 4 which are $1.99 minus the coupons so total will be .50 a roll ehich is what I would pay anyway so the cat will go through without issues. Same for the sc , fantastic id usually $2.99 so minus the coupon out of pocket won’t be much leaving the rest of the cat for whatever else is in my cart. Works for me all the time.

  • boobear27

My Shoprite has the Scott bath tissue on sale for $7.39 not $6.99…I’m in CT

    • Karen S Cooley

Here in Philly, it’s $7.39, too. Still a good deal! Especially since I’m getting four $.75/1 coupons from my insert provider AND my SR is DOUBLING $.75 coupons fully through May 10! Happy happy joy joy!

      • Jarred

which shoprite in Philly is doubling the coupons?

        • vicky

Aramingo av is one of them

          • Karen S Cooley

            Drexel Hill is mine.

  • james

will this deal work with 2 scott and 1 cottonelle bath and one fantasic
i try the 3 scott naturals because they are having double dollar the whole month of march and i only got one $5 back coupon

    • kabbystevens

James you only received the $5 because you only qualified for the spend $20 get $5 catalina for Scotts products…you did not hit the double dip of spend $30 in qualifing products to get the additional 2 $5 catalinas. 3 scotts naturals=$28.17 so yes adding in additional item to reach the 1.83 needed to hit “spend $30”

      • james

        hi
        kabbystevens
yes, it work for me this more. 🙂
i think because the paper products are working at the off sale price

  • J

Will this roll? Just wondering bc it says $5/off Cottonelle, Viva & Huggies, not Scott.

  • Michelle

This deal did not work at my shop rite in New Jersey. So disappointed.

    • natasha

      which shop rite michelle?

    • T

      What did I buy

    • Denise Davison

Hi Michelle, yes please let us know how your transaction went, because I actually did this deal twice just to make sure that it worked, Im sorry that you had a problem with it

      • Christina

I did this deal last night. 3 Scott TP and 1 Huggies wipes and did not get the 2 $5 cats, only the one KC cat for $20. What did I do wrong?

        • Dawn Nicole

Did you purchase the correct toilet paper? Vicky posted below that she bought the same as you and recieved the cats.

          • Christina

Yes the Scott 12 packs that are on sale for $7.39 and the Huggies wipes for $1.99 and only got the $5 KC cat. I went to customer service and tried to explain the problem to them and was told that I needed to purchase one of the SC Johnson products as well in order for the deal to work. I could see no point in arguing when the girl was clearly clueless. Should i cal SR customer service or submit a claim through Catalina?

            • linda

was it the 64 ct simply clean wipes? that was the one highlighted as a freebie, and i have seen some people specify that they bought that variety – but i also see 2 varieties of wipes in 56 ct on sfh @ $1.99. don’t know if all these varieties are tagged/count for the catalina.

              • Christina

I don;t remember which variety I bought and I’m at work but I’ll check when I get home.

            • Dawn Nicole

Customer Service usually isn’t any help (for me anyway). They always tell me it works off sale price and not shelf, etc. I guess it can’t hurt to give them a call though. Can’t figure out why you didn’t recieve it.

              • Christina

                I’ll try it. Thanks.

        • Elisa

I also did this deal and i recieved one shoprite $5 and one $5 kimberly clark. Went to costumer service and they said that i was not supposed to get another $5 shoprite. They were not helpful and tried to make me feel bad like i was trying to get over. I shop at the shoprite in bayville, nj

    • Cornellius Jarido

We did this deal at ShopRite in Phillupsburg NJ just fine

  • Loretta Dugan

there’s $0.55/1 Scott coupons on their website for TP and PT and a $0.75/2 Scott Wipes

  • natasha

there are printable $0.55 off 8 or more scott bath tissue roll coupons on the scott shared values website

    • Denise Davison

Thanks for letting us know! 🙂

  • dianne

In philadelphia my ShopRite has Scott at $7.39 so am going to try buying three which is $22.17. Not sure if it will work and I would love to know if it is rolling???

    • casey

if your pre-price plus is still only $9.39, then you need 3 packs plus something priced about $2 to get to $30

    • vicky

I bought 3 Scott $7.39 1 huggies wipes $1.99 and got the all the cats. I used the loreal cat from last week also

      • dani

so the huggies does work – thanks for the confirmation!

  • Rachael

I wouldn’t advertise this as .87/ea considering two of the $5 cats are more like mq’s, not TRUE cats that can be used on anything. A bit misleading if you ask me.

    • Tina

Yeah I Agree Cause When I First Clicked On This And Read It I Guess I Didn’t Read It Right, Defiantly Thought We Were Getting 3 CatalinaS Total To Be Used On Anything!

      • Rachael

Because that’s how blogs USUALLY post these deals…that’s why I’m calling them on it. Misleading…tsk, tsk, tsk.

        • Denise Davison

Hi Rachael, I’m sorry that you found anything about this deal to be misleading. We mentioned several times in our post that the two $5 Catalina’s that you will receive can only be used on select Kimberley Clark and SC Johnson Products and that the 3rd Catalina can be applied towards any grocery purchase. There are also other products that are included in the deals that are producing their own separate Catalinas that can be used towards any purchase along with offers like Ibotta, Checkout 51 and Shopmium that often have cash back deposits for these products, so there are many options that you have to get that $5 back into your pocket.

We always do our best to provide you with the most accurate and up to date information possible along with the best way to work out the deals so you are spending as little out of pocket as possible.

          • Laura D.

Don’t forget about tomorrow’s weekly ad preview! There may be something next week these catalinas will be perfect for! 😉

        • I’m sorry you feel that we are misleading. That is never our intention. It is how we normally post deals. We also make it very clear as to what the catalinas can be used for so that you, the consumer can make the decision if you want to do the deal. Our goal is to never mislead anyone. All our goal is here is to provide all the information on the deal with complete instructions as to how you can do the deal listing as many variables that are involved. Most deals are never straight forward as they would be easy for anyone to do and find. But, instead, usually involve some layers of promotions. We uncover them all for you.

If this is not the deal for you, there will be many more you can check out that might be better suited for you. Hope that clarifies your concerns.

          • alex

it’s a shame i can only like this post once 😉
i like it about 10x that much

      • misterbill

Tina, what are you using to post? It’s capitalizing every word in your post and it’s very difficult to read.

    • Dipty Joshi

i agree too…those cats are useless for other products/groceries as they specifically say what they can be used for. I was hoping to roll one of the $5 Cat (Kimberely Clark which I received from SC Johnson deal) in to the deal described above, but the darn cat does not include Scott TP:::( I am really upset at myself ! I should have realized this before doing the SC Johnson deal).

      • Laura D.

It’s been reported that if you purchase one small priced item for the cats you can use the overage for your other groceries. It was reported the cats go through fine without any beeps. Just a suggestion.

        • J

Sorry, what does that mean exactly-purchase one small price item for the cats? Must be having a brain fart over here.

          • Laura D.

Lol! It means that if you have a $5 Catalina for specific items, choose the least expensive item you can, use a coupon with the item to reduce the amount lower, and use the $5 cat. I believe the product mentioned for this deal was one of the wipes, which I think was reported to be $1.99 before any coupons. I didn’t do this deal, my TP stockpile is out of control! Hope that helps! Also, it is only Monday, the Shoprite preview comes out tomorrow. You may be able to roll the cats into something there. 😉

          • kim

like for the cat thats good for huggies, just buy a pack of wipes for $2 (or less if you have coupons) and the rest of the $5 can be applief to the rest of your order

          • MicheleAna

For example, viva single towels sell for $1.99 minus a .75 coupon from this weekends paper making it .49 so the remaining $4.51 will apply to the rest of you cart. Fantastic is usually $2.99 minus the .75 coupon for the other cat. HTH.

        • Dipty Joshi

Ok that gives me some relief! Thanks for mentioning it.

          • Laura D.

Also, the SR preview comes out tomorrow. There may be options where you can roll the cats into something there. As well as the many other monthly catalina deals that are going on that Denise mentioned below these cats can be used to roll into another cat that can be used on anything. Good Luck!

            • Denise Davison

Thanks for mentioning that Laura, there is also going to be a SC Johnson Catalina that is starting on 3/24, so that will be a nice and easy way to roll the $5 SC Johnson Catalina from this transaction into one that you can use on any purchase!

              • Laura D.

See that! It’s Spring Cleaning time! This is such a great time to roll the cats form one week into the next! Hmm, I may have to rethink my plans, I wasn’t going to do this deal. I do have plenty of attic space! Thanks for the heads up!

              • sue

will the individual windex, etc catalinas be ending before the sc johnson starts?

                • Denise Davison

Yes, the individual windex ends on 3/23 … the other Cat begins on 3/24… you can find all of that information here..http://www.livingrichwithcoupons.com/myshoprite-2/catalina-offers-for-shoprite-supermarkets

                  • sue

thanks! knew it was here somewhere, but this thread is jumping, so i didn’t want to leave to check. ;D
had a feeling they wouldn’t have overlapped, though – any more deals and they’d practically be giving them away as door prizes!

            • Dipty Joshi

Hi Laura… Thank you for the earlier comment. I was really mad at myself for not realizing this. But once LRWC team posted the quadruple deal, I was more than thankful for it. So far I have rolled the cats 3 times, each time buying different varieties to stay within the limits and received numerous cat in the end. So a big thank you to the team and the commentators!<3

    • nelly

precisely how would you advertise it then? it’s not like they left out all the other details. a thorough, complete reading of the post gives you all the specifics.

      • Rachael

$6.99×3+1.19=22.96-.75/1(3)=18.46-$5cat=13.46/4 =3.36 per product *bonus two additional $5 mq cats. I wouldn’t even advertise this as a good deal though because the $3.36 isn’t even accurately weighted considering you only start out paying 1.19 for it. makes the tp more like 4.09ea which is just an ok deal on this tp. I would certainly still point out that you get the two mf cats, but I wouldn’t calculate it in the deal….that’s just not how couponers do it….LRWC should know better.

        • nelly

that would be $1.99, not $1.19, which makes your other numbers incorrect.
as far as how couponers do it – we know how to adapt for ourselves the deals that are discovered and shared with us and help each other work out all the little details. we also appreciate all the extras we may not have found on our own without living at the store and don’t criticize the presentation.

        • Denise Davison

Hi Rachael, we are couponers, I personally have been a couponer for many years, I have an enormous amount of savings under my belt and a stock pile to prove that, I personally test out at least 75% of all of these deals before they are posted… One of the best parts about being a couponer is being given that $5 Cat for specific products and then finding ways to use it and turn it into $10 and so on… I know there are many readers here who love and adapt to that challenge on a daily basis..

We have always calculated all of our deals like this no matter if you are getting Catalinas for Specific Products or Catalinas off any other purchase… also, like many of us have been chatting about there are going to be more Catalina Offers starting next week that we can roll those $5 catalinas into and in return we will get Catalinas that we can use on any purchase. Like Cindy stated earlier, this deal may just not be the deal for everyone, and thats okay, other deals will come along that better suit you! Happy Shopping!

          • Staci Piech

Well put Denise! Idk why people need to give you are hard time about this post. If it weren’t for ANY of YOU LOVELY LADIES and all the hard work/dedication you do, the majority of us would be paying $6.99 each for the TP! 🙂

            • Rocky

Staci: …”would be paying $6.99 each for the TP” and I would like to add…”thinking we got a good deal”! That was me, years ago! Not anymore, since LRWC!!!

And, just curious, Rachael, how much did you save last year, doing deals your way? Not being nasty, here. It just seems to be the next logical question.

        • Chefpat

Why don’t you just log off and figure it out for yourself instead of cherry picking the best this site has to offer and then nitpicking something you think that they did in error when, in reality, it was you not paying attention to the information provided.
Your negativity is not helpful in any way and it pains me to see the awesome moderators and creators of this site wasting their time responding to undeserved criticism…learn how to read and comprehend, before you criticize, please.

        • Rachael, I’ve already responded regarding this.

This deal is no different then thousands of deals we post each day. Just like the gas rewards we post for Stop & Shop, if the gas points aren’t something you would use, then that deal is not a great deal for you and your bottom line is not going to be the same as those that will do the great deal.

Just like those that have a ShopRite that does not fully double, their bottom line will be different then those posted here.

Just like those that have a Weis that does not work instant savings deals off shelf prices, their bottom line will be different then those posted here.

We’ve research, tested and posted the deal. We’ve laid out all the details so you can make the decision if you want to do it. You have obviously already calculated it for your needs as I can see from your last comment. Since this is not for you and you don’t feel you will use these $5 catalinas, then skip it and move on. It’s honestly as simple as that.

    • Gen

I agree too. While it is a good deal, for me it is not the greatest since I was looking for something I can roll a couple of times. Need to replenish my TP stock.

      • Denise Davison

Hi Dana.. if you look in the Coupon Database, there is a coupon for Cottonelle Toilet Paper and Wipes, there is also an eCoupon available for Cottonelle Toilet Paper.. this will allow you to roll the $5 Coupon for Kimberly Clark and then you can throw 2 Windex in their and end up with a $1.50 Catalina for Windex that can be applied to any order and that will allow you to use the $5 Catalina for the SC Johnson Products, hth!

    • MicheleAna

Rachael, I’m wondering if you are a true couponer? Especially since one who really knows there stuff would in fact call this a steal not just a great deal. The more you roll these particular cats the more of a steal it would be then take your final cat and purchase some along the lines of a dollar or two and the rest would apply to your remaining transaction total. Just saying if your not in agreement, who cares, we like to see it this way. Cindy and her team do an outstanding job at saving us all money. Remember, you don’t have to do every deal but options are good.

  • Jen

I couldn’t find a shop rite near me. I live in Massachusetts. What other store can I do his at?? Thanks!

  • Heather Wolfershein

can anyone tell me the dates on the Catalina’s . what dates can I use them looking to use them on a second transaction?

    • Dipty Joshi

      Valid from 03/16 to 04/05…around 3 weeks window.HTH

      • Heather Wolfershein

        thank you!!!
        what is HTH

        • Dipty Joshi

          Hope That Helps!

          • Heather Wolfershein

            thank you

  • nancy

Hi, Question about this deal … Will it work if I have the following coupons …. 1 Scott bath tissue that is 6.99 with 75 cents off (becomes a $1.00), 1 Cottonelle for flushable cleaning clothes unknown price (not refills) with $1.50 off, and 2 twelve packs of extra soft bath tissue 6.99 each that is 3.00 off 2. Will I still get the Catalinas?

    • tj

cottonelle wipes tub is in the ad @ $2.49. aren’t the $1.50 and $3 coupons you mention both for purchase of cottonelle tp and wipes?

      • Doris Velez

I have a coupon save $3.00 for 12 roll naturals bath tissue and 6 rolls naturals towels, check your coupon maybe is the same as mine.

        • tj

ok, so that one is for scott? the previous post was a bit unclear. are you saying it is for tp and pt, or one or the other?
the $1.50 cottonelle may be for tp and wipes, though.

          • nancy

Yes sorry. The first and last coupons are for scott bath tissue.

        • nancy

It’s a $3.00 (Catalina/MF) for bath tissue, $1.50 for cottonelle wipes from their web site, and a paper coupon from SS for 75 cents (only $1.00 doubled for me) Nancy

          • tj

only $1.50 wipes coupon is for wipes and toilet paper, purchase of both required

  • chel

Does anyone know if you can stack a manufacturer coupon with the shoprite coupons for kimberly clark products?

    • Laura D.

If you are talking about the “MY Shoprite” coupons withe the $1 Bath tissue, YES you can!!!! 😀

  • DVlz

Does anyone know if will work buying 2 Scott toilet paper and 1 scott towel paper

    • janet

that would only be pre-price plus of about $29

      • DVlz

        plus the cottonelle wipes

  • chel

Can you stack these with manufacturer coupons

  • Kathy

I just went to the Parsippany shoprite. I bought 3 Huggies Size 1 Diapers with a shelf price of $11.29. I got NO catalinas. None from this deal and not the Huggies one either that if you Buy 3 42 ct. or larger you get $7.00 OYNO. Went to CS. Of course they said it works off of the price I paid. I called 1 800 SHOPRITE. I have to call back tomorrow because it takes them 24 hours to get the receipt and I sent an email to Catalina Marketing for the $7.00. Anyone else have a problem with Huggies?

    • ss

      I bought 4 this morning and got (1) $10.00 and (2) $5.00. Shelf was also $11.29
Are u sure Cat machine was working?? (I was going to buy 3 but thought what the heck for an extra 2 bucks I grab 4 packs.) My ecoupon did not come off though.

      • Kathy

Thanks SS. My ecoupon did not come off either. The Cat machine was on. I am going to wait and see what Shoprite says tomorrow. Your right, I should have just gotten the 4. That is what I will do tomorrow.

    • Maggie

Kathy did you make sure the count on the higgies was over 42? The size 1 little snugglers has 40 but the size 1 snug and dry has 44. My e coupon did not come off either. Parsippany has given me problems before. I swear they turn off Catalina machines. They give attitude when I bring coupons!

    • chel

I bought 2 size 3 packs yesterday they are a 28 count and I got a $5 catalina from huggies. Today I went about bought two size 3 & one size 4 and did npt get a catalina. Whats that about? I know ot says 42ct or larger but if I got it on smaller one day and not the other what happened?

can u use all the cats you get to roll it?

    • guest

Please read the entire post…the catalinas are for specific items…some will roll

      • Zaj

Read the whole post but am still new to this…

  • Leigh Ann

Boy was I ever surprised when that extra $5 cat printed out today. Happy day for me!

    • Laura D.

Are you saying you received 4 $5 cats? If so, what did they say on them and EXACTLY what did you buy. The quantity, variety and UPC numbers would be excellent! TIA! Maybe it can be duplicated!

      • dee

pretty sure they are just referring to the kc $5 oyno, since it was not in the ad

  • Zaj

Ok, now that I’ve done this deal once except with huggies wipes. what’s the best way to use the cats to get more Scott’s 1000 toilet paper at the best price? Ill buy one cottonelle if i have to but i prefer scotts. Also, if i use the cats on the next purchase, will more cats print out? Still new to this. Thanks!

    • dani

are you saying that you bought 3 packs of scott and a huggies wipes – instead of a cottonelle wipes – and you got all 3 of the $5 catalinas? been looking for confirmation that the huggies wipes count. tia!

  • Sharon

Can I use the $5 cat and .75/1 q’s on a second and third transaction?

    • Laura D.

You bet you can!!! That’s called “Rolling”. You can use the $5, $5, $5 cats and your $0.75/1 coupons and receive more cats! I just got back from a family birthday dinner and I’m headed out to score on this great deal. With all the talk of new cats for next week, these $5 will be a cinch to “roll” into a new deal! Happy Shopping! 🙂

  • Sharon

I actually have enough coupons to do this 4 times but only have two shoprite cards. Will the cats print out a second time per card? I know I can only use the e coupons once…still a good deal.

    • Dawn Nicole

yes, you can do this as many times as you want. Just once per transaction. Cats will print everytime 🙂

      • Sharon

        Thanks! 🙂

  • AL

Hi! I asked at customer service before trying this deal whether it worked on pre-plus prices and was told NO. For this reason, I didn’t do the deal. Just to double check, I asked again on my way out (different person working) and was told the same thing. I’m in MD. I know I could just try it and then return items if the Catalinas don’t print, but I don’t want to lose my coupons 🙁 Anyone else run into this or have suggestions?

    • Laura D.

Post which location you shop at and maybe a reader who shops there can confirm if the shelf price is working or not. CS and managers don’t know the information that we do. HTH!

      • Denise Davison

        Great idea Laura!

        • Laura D.

Thanks Denise! It only comes from being a “comment junkie”! Gotta go and score on this great deal tonight! My sister is moving into her new house tomorrow, I’ve decided to get her started on a stockpile of TP, PT, Purex, Dawn, tissues and whatever else is coming down the road into next week!

          • Denise Davison

I love love love that idea! Actually we had some friends that moved into a new house a coup of months ago, I got them a home depot gift card, the usual, but I actually got a Laundry Basket at the Dollar Tree and filled it with tons of household essentials… laundry detergent, fabric sheets, cleaning supplies, etc to get them through the first few months, they absolutely loved it!

            • Laura D.

LOVE the laundry basket idea filled with the goodies! I am also doing the home depot gift card thing! She laughs her head off every time she sees my stockpile, she thinks its completely crazy. I think, she will really like shopping in her own home and will then change her mind!

              • Denise Davison

They always giggle about it, but my sister, my dad and my friends all shop here and love it!

      • AL

I shop at the Timonium, MD, Shoprite. Can anyone confirm that this deal is working on shelf prices? Thank you!!!

        • Laura D.

Sorry, AL, I should have also suggested putting this as a “new” comment at the top of the post. You will have more people read it, since the last post was a direct reply to my comment. HTH! Hope someone in your area can answer!

        • Pinou Sideratos

off topic but I used to live on chetwood circle in Timonium, memories 🙂 I still dream of York road antique shopping

  • Ashley

I figured out a great way to use those catalinas to get more free stuff!!!

    • joan

well don’t leave us hanging! 😉

    • Laura D.

      Please post your ideas Ashley!

    • Denise Davison

Im excited! Let the deal ideas roll!!! 🙂

  • lisa

    is this printing at shoprite?

    Cottonelle Bath Tissue, 12pk or larger 2/24/14 – 3/23/14
    Buy 2 12-packs or larger Get a $2 Catalina

    potential triple dip?

    • Yes as a matter of fact Denise is going to test a deal with Cottonelle and Windex so she can roll those (2) $5 cats right into the deal. We are just talking about it right now.

      • lisa

found that on the master catalina list. is it only buy 2 get $2, or are there any more levels? the test will be tomorrow?

        • Buy 2 get $2
          Buy $3 get $3

Denise is going in the morning to test it

          • lisa

great! i was thinking of buying 3 with a huggies wipes. thanks!

          • vicky

I was at shoprite this afternoon and saw peelies on the cottonelle paper 1.50/2 but the pre price is $8.69 sale price $7.39

            • lisa

thank you for pointing this out! i was not paying attention to the you save box in the ad, and it says “up to”. the cottonelle is $6.99 ($8.29) here, so a purchase of 3 would need a filler of over $5 instead of just $2. need to rethink my transaction.

              • Laura D.

You may want to wait until the morning. This deal is about to get really reallllly good! That’s if all the additional cats print!

                • lisa

after denise does the cottonelle/windex deal, you mean? 😉

                  • Laura D.

Yes, it should be $0.45 total for 2 cottonelle, 4 windex and 1 wipe! Total of 6 cats!

                    • lisa

will the windex cat print twice?
and won’t 2 cottonelle not reach the $20?

                    • Laura D.

                      I have 2 Cottonelle ($9.39×2=$18.78) $6.99×2=$13.98
                      1 Cottonelle wipe ($2.19) $1.99
                      4 Windex Touch ups ($3.77×4=$15.08) $3.49×4=$13.96
This equals ($36.05 for the Shoprite promotion) ($20.95 for the Kimberly Clark National Catalina) Buy 2 Cottonelle Get $2 cat and the Windex cat Buy 2 Get $1.50 (which will hopefully print out twice, or possibly a $3 cat, I didn’t quite understand Cindy’s comment above)

                      So sale price total of $29.93 – (2) BOGO Windex coupons, (1) $1.50/2 Cottonelle tp and wipes, then a $1/1 Cottonelle package peelie = $20.45 receive (3) $5 cats, (1) $2 Cat and (2?) $1.50 Cats. $0.06 each!

That’s one of the possible scenario’s I have come up with.

                    • lisa

the cottonelle pre-price plus is lower than the scott – just realized this not long ago – and i don’t think the wipes count toward the paper products $20. cindy’s comment with the b2g2 and b3g3 was referencing the cottonelle cat.
i do love the way you’re thinking, though!

                    • Laura D.

Have you double checked the shelf price at the store? My ad shows Cottonelle shelf price $9.39, same as the Scott. Not sure about the wipes though now. Guess we will have to wait!

                    • lisa

ad says save up to – it’s only the scott that is $9.39 – cottonelle is only $8.29. i did not realize until vicky pointed out prices at her slightly higher priced store.

                    • Laura D.

That changes the cottonelle deals for sure. I was at the store late tonight (yesterday) and I checked the Viva, Scott 1000’s and wipes, did the deal twice along with another Purex and some RG deodorant. I never checked the Cottonelle prices while I was there. Shudda, cudda, but didn’t!

                    • lisa

i know! over a dollar cheaper! ugh! only a couponer can complain when something’s “too cheap”! 😉

                    • Rocky

Lisa, YES, I know just what you mean! Over the last few years, when SR was regularly doing the Angel Soft/Sparkle catalina deals, there were a few occasions when they changed the prices mid-week (at least, at my particular store) – they made them $1 cheaper (both sale and shelf) – it changed the whole dynamic of the cat deal and I was REALLY upset!!! Then, I thought to myself…anyone else coming in for TP and PT is gonna think, wow, what a deal, it’s a dollar cheaper than in the ad!!!!! Groan…

                    • Laura D.

Hey Rocky, go to SR online and click on the Weekly Ad and then there is a section to “See participating items” for this deal. The list is something like 132 items long. I am thinking there may be many more variations to this deal. Do you see what I mean?

                    • Rocky

Help,, where is that section? I am at the weekly ad, on the page with that deal. Where/how do I see/get to the section that says ‘See participating items’?

                    • Rocky

Ahh, bummer! Okay, I’ll just try checking back, every so often!

  • Laura D.

Does anyone know if the Cottonelle wipes count towards the National Catalina of Buy $20 Get $5?

  • Laura D.

I completely forgot to mention this. When I was looking at the Weekly ad online, there is an option to click on “Participating Items” that was pertaining to this deal. I clicked on it and the list was 132 items long!!!! It’s possible this could be like the Unilever deal weeks ago. Anyone else see that list?

    • barbara

      i cant find the link

      • Laura D.

It was there on Sunday. I couldn’t find it either when I rechecked last night. ugh!

  • Meli

So i did the deal Laura D suggested
1st transaction 3 scotts 1 huggies wipes i only had the scott qs but the huggies eq came off i paid 20.97
I got the $5 off anytthing $5 off cottonellle viva and huggies and the $5 off windex pledge or scrubbing bubbles.

2nd transaction i got 2 cottonelle 4 windex touch ups and 1 cottonelle wipes
I had a 2 off any wipes that printed from Sr cat machine i used the 2 .55 cottonelle toilet Qs and 2 bogo windex touch up a .45 cottonelle cfire came off paid 5.99
Got back 1 $2 off anything 1 $5 off cottonellle viva and huggies and the $5 off windex pledge or scrubbing bubbles.

So at the end i paid 26.96 for 5 packs of toilet papaer 4 windex touch ups 1 huggies wipes 1 cottonelle wipes and have the $12 in cats left over…
    This is a great deal!
Thanks everyone as always you are full of great advise and help!!!

    • Meli

I forgot to mention i used all my cats from the first transaction on the second with no problems.

      • Laura D.

Oh! So in the second transaction, since you only received (2) $5 cats, that MUST confirm that the Cottonelle wipes do NOT count towards the $5 Kimberly Clark National Catalina. Since the total shelf price for the National Catalina would be $18.78 and not $20.97 (with wipes included). Back to the Catalina board for me!! 🙂

        Awesome score Meli!

        • Meli

if you figure it out please share i will be going back on Friday ; )

          • Laura D.

You’ve got to check out the new deal that was just posted!

        • lisa

cottonelle tp, so not $18.78, but only $16.58 😉

  • james

  • MariaL

I just brought 3 packages of Scott bathroom tissues and 2 bottles of Windex (which I need for spring cleaning). I got the (2) Shoprite $5 promotion catalina, $5 Kimblerly Clark catalina and a $1.50 catalina for the 2 bottles of windex.

    • Pinou Sideratos

I got the 3 packages of Scott TP and 1 cottonelle refill pack for 1.99 and got (1) Shoprite $5 catalina, (1) Shoprite 1.50 OYNO (from unilever), (1) 5.00 Cat from Kimberly Clarke and (1) 5.00 Cat from SC Johnson..
using them properly will be a challenge ..
on a side note, where did this unilever printout come from.. the only other items I got that may have triggerted it were 3 bic disposable shaver packs

      • Sandy

$1.50 Cat came from the 2 Windex

        • Sandy

Scratch that! I was reading Maria L comments – Bic would not trigger that $1.50 – I have no idea where that came from!

  • dawn

i did this deal last night and the catalina machine was broken went to the courtesy counter and she told me i did not buy enough for either deal i bought 3 scotts and 1 huggies. she said scotts is only 6.99 does not add up to 30 and huggies wipes are not included in deal, so i left . what did i do wrong

    • Melinda Dilione

Hi Dawn. This sounds like a similar experience I had last night. I was doing this deal for the first time, and after 1/2 of the first of my Catalina printed, the Catalina machine ran out of paper. When a manager came over and I showed her the ad, she stated the (2) $5.00 ShopRite Reward Certificates were not actual coupons that print (because the ad says “not an actual coupon” in the fine print) and she went on and on about how nothing really prints for that offer. Then I thought she was also going to say I didn’t spend $30 but what happened was she suggested we buy the products again (without me paying) to see if the Catalinas would print. I said fine. So we did that and after she totaled (was only at $22 sale price), the Catalina’s didn’t print. Again, I thought she was going to say well you’re not at $30 anyway. I told her the Catalina’s don’t print until I pay and the transaction is complete. So I paid and bam! out print 3 Catalina’s – the 2 $5.00 ShopRite Certificates and the 1 $5.00 Kimberly Clark Catalina. I was a great feeling to show her I knew what I was talking about – although I was very polite and didn’t “rub” it in her face that I was right. I then just had to go to customer service to get a refund because I had paid for the same 4 items twice. So in the future, if a mishap happens at the register – you can consider doing something like this to show the employees we know what we’re talking about 🙂 Hope that helps!

      • dana

they don’t print because the ad says not an actual coupon – wow, that is some interpretation! and that was a manager?! great example of how the employees do not know everything, and are often quite simply guessing at the cause of any issues. 😉

      • dk

yes, always be polite, and don’t rub your tp in their face. ;D
        (sorry, had to say it!)

  • barbara

I am heading over to do this
My sale and shelf prices are higher.

    My plan
    (1) Scott regular $7.39 ( $9.79)
    (1) Scott naturals $7.39 ( $9.79)
    (1) Scott paper towels $8.99 – ($10.20)
    (1) Cottenelle wipes upright dispenser $2.59 ($2.89)
    =$26.36 Sale ( $32.67)
    – $.75/1 3/16 SS Scott TP
    _$1.50/1 Catalina Scott TP
    -$1.50/1 Catalina Scott PT
    – $.75/1 Cottonelle wipes dispenser
OOP $20.36 Get $15 in Catalinas back.

    • kabby

Is the dispenser included as well? I know the refill is???

      • barbara

never mind.. i read it wrong.. will have to go with the plain wipes. then.

  • sjrdy

did this deal exactly as mentioned above and no catalinas printed. 🙁

    • Jenn

Which of the 3 listed did you try? Was the CAT machine on?

      • sjrdy

Bath tissues as shown above and cottonelle wipes refill. yes the catalina machine was on. Bummer got to return the stuff.

  • Jodi

So bummed, I have six SS inserts and only one of them contain the Cottonelle coupon 🙁

    • Jodi

Was hoping to buy 3 Cottonelles (in addition to 2 Windex) and get the $3 cat from the Cottonelle. Time to reconfigure my math, boooo!

      • Sandsy

Jodi- check the Cottonelle as many had $1.50/2 peels on them

    • kabby

Load the Right guard deodorant Xtreme Clear and stack with the insert as well…get the $2 overage towards your Cottonelle deal.

      • Jodi

Already did that earlier this week.

  • So one thing is missing from these awesome comments …pictures of your shopping trips. Come on let’s see them I know some of your are dying to share what you scored. ;).

Just click the image icon at the bottom left of the comment box to add you image. Or drag and drop it in. Easy peasy.

  • CouponCrazyNJ

I did this deal several times but used the 75 cent coupon for Scott flushable wipes. Then rolled my $5 catalina for windex and 2 printed coupons for $1 off windex touch up, getting 4 touch ups for free. Love this deal.

  • CouponCrazyNJ

Also used the bogo for the touch ups.

  • chel

Today I bought 3 huggies diapers and did not get my 7.50 catalina. Yestetday I bought 2 and got a $5. What happened? Who do I contact to get it?

  • ssbutterfly

I have a question. what are some good deals people are using to roll their catalina coupons? I haven’t seen too many sales on the products listed on the coupons. Just wondering, thanks so much for any responses.
