 CVS Deals

Last week we posted about a new P&G Rebate (receive a $10 pre-paid gift card by mail when you spend $30 (after coupons and discounts) on Tide, Gain, Downy, or Bounce Products (excludes any size Tide Simply Clean and Fresh, Gain Flings, Gain Fireworks, and trial & travel sizes) between 7/1/14 – 9/30/14).  See the original post here.

This week there’s an awesome opportunity to double dip with CVS’ Buy $30 Get $10 Gas Card Deal (limit 1) and the P&G Rebate (limit 1 per household).  Tide Laundry Detergent, 48-64 loads is on sale this week at CVS and qualifies for both promotions.  After coupons, (1) $10 gas card and (1) $10 pre-paid gift card, get (4) Tide Laundry Detergent for less than $3.50 each!

We suggest that you do not use ExtraCare Bucks to purchase the Tide, as they appear on receipts as a “coupon.”  The P&G Rebate specifically states that the $30 spending requirement is calculated after coupon and discounts.

Here is your deal at CVS through 7/12:

If you use ECB’s or Up Rewards to pay, does that count as a coupon? TIA!

I assume one can use their extracare bucks as long as it does not exceed $3, thereby still rendering the final cost above the $30 mark?

Thanks Leslie. I was planning on buying 2 tides at CVS and 4 Downy Unstoppable at Rite Aid. I have $15.00 in ECB’s that i was hoping to use, but didn’t know if that would count as a coupon.. Might have to pass on this one then. thanks again

Is $3.50 a good price? I know in the past I have been able to get it for $2.50. Not too excited about this deal

Does anyone know if the gas card can be used to purchase items inside Shell like snacks and drinks…..looked on card and don’t see anything stating has to be gas..

I’m almost 100% positive they can be used for anything in the store as well. Could of sworn I saw a few people post that you could.

What’s the cheapest thing to buy to get over $30? Buying a 4th Tide seems like overkill. I have a bunch of CVS money to spend from surveys they’ve been sending me recently. We never buy Tide but this seems to be the best way to spend what’s effectively free money and get $20 back. I guess I could buy 3 Tide at CVS and find a deal on the 4th item elsewhere, since you can send multiple receipts.

I just noticed the “after coupons” wording so maybe this isn’t the best thing to do, after all.
