McCormick & Company has issued a voluntary recall for McCormick Ground Oregano – 0.75 oz. bottle. UPC 0-523561-6 with code dates BEST BY AUG 21 16 H and AUG 22 16 H due to possible contamination with Salmonella. This recall does not include any other McCormick Ground Oregano sizes or McCormick Whole or Oregano Leaves products.
The recalled product has been shipped nationally to: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI and WV.
If you have purchased the affected product, do not use it, throw it away. You can contact McCormick Consumer Affairs at 1-800-632-5847 for a replacement or refund.
