Tips On Claiming Turkey Offer
ShopRite is our big go-to grocery store here at LRWC in New Jersey. In our area (we know this varies by region) the required amount spent in order to qualify for the current Free Turkey Offer at ShopRite is $400. Yikes. To me, $400 is a lot of money to spend during the promotional period. I know you all have different opinions on whether or not this is a reasonable amount needed to spend for the free product. Rather than debating this (which we’re NOT going to do here) we thought we’d provide tips for you on strategic ways to help you get to the $400 mark to qualify for your free turkey or holiday item!
Here are some tips on keeping your out of pocket low while trying to qualify for your free holiday offer:
- Do you save coupons that you might receive for a FREE product? For example, sometimes we receive coupons in the mail from samples we post here at LRWC or other freebies, or from companies we contact asking for coupons. I’ve accumulated some FREE Product Coupons which I’ve been holding on to. Now is the time to cash in on these coupons! This will help drive your total up to qualify for your deal while keeping your out of pocket expenses very low. So next time you receive a coupon for a FREE product, try to be a bit patient and hold onto it for a little while until you can maximize your savings and make the most of the coupon!
- Go through our Shop For Free post each week and be intentional about “buying” items that are FREE with coupons that week at the store you’re shopping at to get your free product, even if this is a product you typically would pass on. Donate the item or give it to a friend/family member who can use the product if you won’t use it. Again, this is keeping your out of pocket low while helping you reach the qualifying amount. - Think outside the box while doing your grocery shopping – can you get some of your holiday shopping done at ShopRite? Consider buying toys at ShopRite. I love this deal this week on Play-Doh sets which are on sale for 1/2 price at $9.99. We also have a $3/1 Hasbro Disney Princess Magical Designs Palace, Cake Mountain or Diggin Rigs Buzzsaw Play-doh Set coupon from the 11/9 Smart Source insert making this regularly $19.99 toy only $6.99. Consider taking money from you holiday shopping budget and spending it at your grocery store during promotional periods. It will help you earn your free holiday item while also checking some items off your holiday shopping list!

When you roll Catalinas week to week you are keeping your out of pocket expenses as low as possible while racking up your qualifying purchase amount for your free holiday offer.
