Cindy’s Shopping Trip
Last week I stocked up on a lot of meat here and here . This week, I’m in my Shop for Free mode which, is exactly what I did.
I shopped at ShopRite, Target, CVS and Stop & Shop yesterday afternoon using overage on certain items to help pay for the meat. Lucky for me these stores are not that far apart so I was able to hit them all up, from start to finish, in less than hour.
Besides the big money makers at ShopRite this week, my favorite deal was the Swiffer Deal at Target. And, I was so excited that they actually had stock at my store.
In the end, I paid $33.34 out of pocket, used a $3 Catalina to pay and ended up with $44 worth of catalinas, ECBs and rebates for a profit of $7.66. Booyah! And, wait, that includes over 4 lbs of pork chops! Double booyah!
Tomorrow, I have to run out to my local market and pick up a bunch of produce. With days like today, it frees up so much extra money to shop for my produce.
Here are my breakdowns:
Amount leftover from last transaction (includes rewards & rebates) | $57.10 |
Amount added for new week (added every Sunday) | $100 |
Total Amount available for shopping (includes rewards & rebates) | $157.10 |
Cash used out of pocket | $33.34 |
Rewards Used | $3 |
Rewards & Rebates Earned | $44 |
Amount left in envelope (including Rewards & Rebates | $164.76 |
Here are the deals I did:
