Cindy’s Shopping Trip

I’m back! And I’m excited about my shopping this week.  Well, mostly I’m excited about my shopping trip today at ShopRite using Shop From Home.  Can’t beat it when you hand the cashier just $0.77.  Actually she said to me, “wow, you should write a book”.  I laughed and said…”good idea” 😉

For the shop at home deal I used the coupon code: FOOTBALL and did the exact deal we had in the match ups.  The deal had overage so I used the overage to cover the cost of the peanut butter.

On Sunday I took advantage of the last day of the Nestle Water deal at Shoprite with the last of my coupons.  That deal was sure fun while it lasted and I’m pretty stocked up with water that I scored for better than free.  Can’t beat that for sure.

I also headed to Aldi and Best Market (a local market by me) to pick up my produce and various other items.  You may notice that those two stores are my normal produce run.  I have a routine where I check the Best Market circular for the produce prices I’m interested in.  Then I head to Aldi and buy the items there that are priced better and then swing over to Best Market and score the rest.  Sometimes I do more shopping at Aldi and less at Best Market and sometimes it’s reversed.  Sunday, Best Market won the produce price wars for me.

My husband headed to Costco for me and picked up our basic staple products we always get from there.  Sorry no picture of that though as they were put away before I could get a picture.

It’s Wednesday and I don’t really have any more shopping to do this week except maybe a few produce items at Best Market.  I’m guessing I’ll only spend around $10 – $15 more which means my grocery envelope is starting to grow.  When that starts to happen it usually means I’m coming up to some meat purchases soon which is exactly what I’m starting to plan for next week.

Here are my breakdowns:

 My Grocery Envelope:

Amount leftover from last transaction (includes rewards & rebates)    $164.76
Amount added for new week (added every Sunday) $100
Total Amount available for shopping (includes rewards & rebates) $264.76
Cash used out of pocket $85.31
Rewards Used $5
Rewards & Rebates Earned $4.50
Amount left in envelope (including Rewards & Rebates $178.95

Here are the deals I did:
