Stop & Shop Gas Rewards
It’s that time again! Time to check out what deals we can score at Stop & Shop beginning Friday, 12/11 with their new gas reward offers! This week we have 3 gas reward promotions. The first deal is buy 8 participating products and earn 400 gas reward points ($0.50 off per gallon, up to 35 gallons of gas).

There are always many different deal ideas you can work with gas reward deals depending on what you want, need and have coupons for. For the “Buy 8 Get 400 Gas Rewards” offer the best deal I’m seeing is buying 8 of the Domino’s Baking Sugars, included is Light or Dark Brown, and Confectioners 2 pound packages.
We have a $0.75/2 Domino Sugar products 2 lbs. or larger printable coupon available. We can pick up 8 of the Domino Sugars, we’ll then use 4 coupons, and we’ll pay $9.92. We’ll then pick up 400 Gas Rewards Points, and score a $4.08 money maker assuming you can fill up with the full 35 gallons of gas!

We have a $1/2 Mama Rosies items, (zip code: 17013) printable coupon available We’ll pick up 5 of the Frozen Pasta, and we’ll snag 500 Gas points ($17.50). After gas rewards and 2 coupons, assuming you can fill up with the full 35 gallons, we’ll be scoring as much as a $2.00 Money Maker!

The third Gas Rewards deal we have this week is for Bass Pros Shop Gift Cards! It’s a 5x Gas Rewards Deal and is running through 12/17. You can purchase $500 in gift cards and earn 5 times gas points on this purchase. You earn 1 point for each dollar you spend at Stop & Shop, so if you bought a $500 Gift Card during this promotion, you will earn 2,500 gas points, which is equivalent to $2.50 off a gallon of gas at participating Shell Gas Stations.
You can fill up with UP TO 35 gallons of gas using your gas points. If you buy a $500 Gift Card you will have earned $2.50 off of 35 gallons of gas, which is equivalent to $87.50 in savings. So to summarize, with 2,500 gas points (which you will earn for buying a $500 participating gift card) you can get UP to $87.50 in FREE gas, assuming you can fill up with 35 gallons of gas.
NOTE: * you can only use a max of $2.20 off per gallon, the rest will remain on your account until they are used or expired.
There are no fees associated with Store Branded Gift Cards, so there’s no added out of pocket expenses. On the plus side, you can buy multiple denominations, and spread your funds out across different retailers. So if you typically give gift cards as gifts, this might be a great time to stock up on some.

We call these gift card deals Money Makers because you can use the $500 gift card just like cash at select retailers. Assuming you need to shop or dine at any of the participating retailers, you’ll get $87.50 in FREE gas. Easy, right!? I hope you think so too!
This deal works in any increment – doesn’t have to be a $500 gift card. You can buy $100 Gift Card and earn 500 Gas Points ($0.50 off per gallon) and so on. You will just “make the most money” on buying the largest gift card amount, which in this case is $500.
These Gas Rewards deals are such a great way to rack up the savings at the pump, while saving on your grocery budget! Watching the bill drop on one of our biggest expenses has been amazing!
