    • Hanna

Check super coupons. I got one for the italian sausage so $1.49/lb for me and few other ones.

      • Rocky

Oh, that is good! Unfortunately, I didn’t get any, but, perhaps others will!

  • Rocky

SR Vegetable or Corn Oil $4.99 (Edit: 1 gallon). McCain’s Fries $1.99, or, assuming it includes Beer Battered and/or 5 Minute, and, that our IPs haven’t expired, 99c after the IP. Pillsbury Toaster Strudel $2, or, $1.50 each, wyb 2 with the recent .50/2 insert coupon.

  • sandyk

Rocky, the Brawny and Quilted Northern deal is back.

    • Rocky

Ahhh, thanks for mentioning it, sandyk! The only problem is, it’s not a catalina deal, waaahhhhh!!!

    • Michelle

I got email coupon for $2 off a $10 purchase from QN.

      • Rocky

Oh, yes, I got that, also! It is for any of their brands. Since I have other coupons for Angel Soft and Brawny, I think I will use that for Dixie paper plates/bowls, for which there are rarely coupons!

  • george

I love any week when Perdue is on sale. Also, Blue Bunny ice cream is $1.99. Have a bunch of $0.75 coupons that when doubled make this tasty treat less than $0.50 for a box of 4 cones.

    • Selma

Ohhh I love Blue Bunny! I buy so many of them during frozen foods month in March, maybe I’ll pick some up next week!

      • Demope

Why would you support Blue Bunny after all the unsanitary conditions found at their manufacturing facilities and the serious illnesses they caused.

        • Selma

          1. I buy what I want.
          2. BLUE BELL was recalled, not Blue Bunny.

        • tim

Besides the fact that people and companies do make mistakes like people can be forgiven. Also you have the wrong company here.

          Also it is freaking good.

        • Rosa

Your talking about BLUE BELL not Blue Bunny. I bet alot make that mistake.

    • Ang In CT

You do know that you are killing my diet right? I love Blue Bunny cones! I’m trying to use up my deep freezer items before I buy anything else. I’ve still got a Carvel snowman cake in there from New Year’s that we didn’t eat.

      • george

Oh how I wish they were for me. I’m a diabetic. They’re for my grandchildren who live with me. I just get to watch and sometimes get a small lick!!

    • mrsclaire

do you remember where you got the blue bunny coupons from? I just checked and don’t have any.
      🙁 maybe there were regional…

      • george

I received an e-mail from Blue Bunny, If you were to google Blue Bunny, I think you could request coupons.

      • Rocky

And, if you go to their website and join their ‘I-Scream’ team you will be on their mailing list. Most months (if not all) you will get an email with a link to a coupon, usually .75/1.

  • Melissa

Not sure where to post this but I just tried to download recipts on Mobisave and it says my account is deactivated. I just used it a few days ago. Has anyone else seen this message. Don’t know why it would say that

  • Melissa

Update on Mobisave, I got an email back saying o violated their rules which I have not. One of the stated violations was submitting receipts before selecting the offers. They constantly deselect offers and I hve to reselect in order to submit and have told them about this numerous times. None the less they will not reinstate my account. Just curious if anyone else has gotten deactivated. I feel this is wrong but cannot argue with them

    • LJB

Melissa, Mobisave resets any offers you selected every Monday at 12:00am local time (per the app). It wasn’t like that when the app was first introduced. Do you think your issue might be that Monday occurs between when you selected the offer and when you purchased it?

    • Salles Viana Gomes de Magalhae

I installed Mobisave but I’ve never used it because of these weird rules. Ibotta is MUCH better (you don’t have to select the offers before submitting the receipts).

      • Karen B.

The only thing good about mobi is that you get paid right away. Now that ibotta changed their payout to $20.00 I’m thinking of stopping after I cashout.

        • Lesley

Wow $20?!? I didn’t know that! Darn, it used to be $5, then $10, and now $20? Wow

          • Karen B.

Yes, I noticed it about a month ago.

        • Barbara A.

Why would you stop using Ibotta? I mean you don’t pay anything. It’s bonus money for just scanning a receipt. I’m confused. Even if it takes you longer to cash out why would you want to stop? Even if you just scan your receipt with the milk, eggs, produce, no brand stuff it all adds up.

          • Karen B.

I understand what you are saying, and I agree, and I can’t really explain it, and this will probably sound crazy, but I think it’s probably that long wait makes scanning long receipts, and keeping track that everything gets credited, to not see the gratification for weeks, has something to do with it. I lot of what I buy isn’t for me, but as a donation and I think I’m probably going through couponing burnout, lol!

        • Harry

Yeah, I dont like the $20 ibotta also…now 20, in a few months 30 and then 50? Still, I have been doing more ibotta these days buying stuff I need a well as don’t really need mainly to get to the bonuses which are a good amount and usually cover for any items that are not MM and also help reach the $20 quicker….for example, there are small items like poland spring water and propel water which count to the bonus and you pay 0.25 or 0.50 oop on each but will be covered eventually by the bonus even if you consider each has 3 resets. Not sure how long I can sustain this though.

I think ibotta has come out winner in terms of the number of rebates offered as well as quality of items they have on offer – so they might feel they can do whatever they want in terms of raising the minimum payment limits. Too bad they are going to loose out on several customers.
          just my 2c on ibotta.

          • Karen B.

Yes, agree with your 2c. It’s nice to get credit for things I would normally buy like veggies, but at 50cents each it is taking forever to reach $20.00. Scanning long receipts these days is becoming a real pain.

    • MisterBill

I got banned from them while I was away on vacation. I had submitted two similar receipts for deals at Rite Aid for my wife and myself (on different MS accounts). Unless I scanned the same receipt twice (which is very unlikely as I am very careful about that), I submitted two different receipts, although they had the same items on them. Their email said “We have detected blatent fraudulent behavior and have deactivated this account. Please do not attempt to re-enroll. If we observe any attempt to establish a different identity we will immediately report our findings to PayPal’s fraud protection team.”. I haven’t bothered to reply.

      • george

That is just so insulting. I wouldn’t let them get away with that crap. Who knows what kind of “fraud” file they can put you on. Write a short, to the point letter to your state’s Attorney General using the same words that they are using against you.

        • melissa

Thanks for all of your replies. I am very upset about Mobisave and honestly have not broken any of their rules. I wish their was some way to reestablish my account because i used it often.

    • Karen B.

Sorry about what happened to you. I haven’t had that kind of problem, but for the last few weeks I’ve had awful offers. Two weeks in a row I’ve had only 11 offers, nothing I use at all.

      • IK

You have to sign out and sign back in for offers to appear. This started few weeks ago…try it.

        • Karen B.

Oh, ok. I didn’t know that. I will try it

        • Karen B.

          Thank you IK! It worked!

  • mrsclaire

Arnold bread on sale for $1.99…will be .89 after the .55/1 insert coupon!

  • jaye

Can anyone make out the Post Cereal that is part of the buy 3 for $1.99 each?tia

    • Sandy

Pebbles, Alpha Bits, Honey Combs, Golden crisps, Any variety Whole Grain, Any variety Honey Bunches of Oats

  • Rocky

OMG! That is SO cool, thanks for posting, mrsclaire!!! Congrats, Cindy, you are even more of a star, now! But, you always have been to us!!!!

  • MisterBill

Yes, I got that in Westchester County as well! BTW, the deal is for home delivery on Sunday only. Still, not a bad deal if you only want it for the coupons.

    • geoff84

True, the Sunday news stand price is $2.00 here in SE PA. Maybe Cindy can work a similar deal with the Phila. Inquirer. 🙂

      • Barbara

Just a heads up, i received my Inquirer delivery today. Papers are early due to the impending storm

  • jill

Im thinking this old el paso deal is a bit more than 75cent moneymaker. Altho, it is 1 am and im very tired. lol. If you buy 4 @1.99, 2 @1.25 that equals 10.50. minus the $3 instant savings = $7.50 – $9 (6 coupons doubled to 1.50) your overage is already 1.50 without the EQ. plus the EQ, your overage is $2.25? Am i calculating that right or do i just need to go to bed because im overthinking?

    • kayla

as presented, the deal apparently assumes that the coupons will not fully double because of the price of the items. if all the coupons do fully double, you would get more overage like you said.

    • dowman

I was thinking the same thing, except I was allowing the coupon on the $1.25 taco shells to only double up to $1.25. So I had a $1.75 MM on this deal that should get boosted further with an additional $1.75 from Savingstar.

    • Fiona

Everyone is misreading the ad. The $1.99 price is already determined after the $3.00 is taken off. It’s saying 50 cents come off because 6 x 50 cents = $3.00. This will not be a moneymaker.

      • geoff84

In my ad, the Stand ‘N Stuff are on sale for $1.99, and $1.49 WYB 6. Maybe you saw the Old El Paso Dinner Kits, on sale for $2.49, and $1.99 WYB 6.

        • Fiona

You are so right, Geoff. Sorry about that.

  • AA

    Woohoo!!!

  • Wanda

Triple coupons @ Hudson, NY 1/24/16!

    • JJ

Yay! Free Old El Paso and Cheerios, Zone Perfect, Larabar, and probably HSTG chips! I am wondering whether $0.75 Old El Paso will be $2.25 off or just $1.99 off.

  • Natalya

$0.75/1 Post Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, exp. Varies -NLA?

    • Michelle T.

I just printed it a couple of days ago, but I don’t see it now, must be NLA 🙁

  • LB

Looks like the following printable coupons are no longer available: pirates booty, werthers original caramels, tuttorosso tomatoes, and simply orange juice 🙁

  • geoff84

One of the General Mills coupons of the week is 50c off one Pillsbury Strudel. So, it will be only $1.00 after sale price and doubled coupon.

  • Sherry Z

There are less comments than usual here right now so I hope you wont object to my posting this rather lengthy somewhat off topic share regarding what happened to me on Friday at my usual 7 AM trip to my local Shop-Rite.

Effective yesterday, the only experienced employee remaining at this Shop_Rite where there is constant turn-over other than my cashier is the Scanner.

At checkout, my balance was – $0.39. I immediately told the cashier that since ShopRite is not permitted to owe me money I would get an item to add to my order. The cashier, always unfriendly, called the new Manager, who closed the transaction and stated that I had to go the the office. She refused to accept my explanation that this is a routine occurrence there, easily handled by adding another item to the order. Fifteen minutes later, she reappeared, stating that she called the other store (not nearby) and was instructed to void the order and re-scan my entire order. I explained to her that I am at all times current with the Policies of Corporate ShopRite and that the correct procedure is to add an additional item to my order so that I would have to pay ShopRite for that $0.39 and for the monies owed for my additional item. She insisted that she had never seen this very rare occurrence and she had to re-scan my entire order.

I politely explained that this occurrence happens routinely and I very courteously asked that she call Wakefern Corporate. She said that calling the other store is calling Corporate. I told her that as a diligent and honest couponer, I am able to reassure her that the Corporate number on the bottom of every receipt is Shop-Rite Corporate and that the other store is not the Corporate office [it is owned by the same individual] that authors the policies. She refused. I repeated this several times, patiently. Finally, I politely repeated that she is free to either keep my $0.39 or to add my additional $1,99 item however if she insists upon re-scanning my entire order, I will instead accept a full refund and I will never again shop in this store. She chose to add the additional item.

I suspect it will be necessary to locate another supermarket regrettably (there is none that is decent within forty minutes) as it is not possible to coupon within an environment where no employee is familiar with how they are properly used.

For the record, I had an investment of several years in the employees here such that they trusted in my integrity such that they knew that I properly used coupons. I had written to five corporate executives repeatedly commending five employees such that they were awarded a luncheon and gift certificates and, on Christmas, I gave ten employees gifts and only the Scanner remains! Now, not only am I being treated as a criminal while each coupon is being scrutinized but what is unworkable is that no one is familiar with any of the policies and THAT is not workable for me! This is unfathomable that they choose to run a business in this manner and the employees are always miserable here.

    • Tangokiki

How aweful! Would you be willing to share location if not specific store just general vicinity so we couponers can be prepared. Perhaps we should show up in mass with our binders at the ready! As I read about these types of experiences I can’t help but think there must be a legal remedy such as the “bait and switch” law….they lure in couponers, have a published policy and then change the rules. Any couponing attorneys out there?

      • Sherry Z

        pocono’s

        • amydawn1964

have you tried acme. they are very coupon friendly. you can get some great deals in there. i have never been in any acme where they are not helpful, especially with my coupons

          • Sherry Z

we have no other stores here..nj was great…the pocono’s has no competition.

            • amydawn1964

have you tried giant (stop&shop PA stores). i know there is one when you cross into PA from NJ

              • Sherry Z

I feel entitled to be the Mayor of Shop-Rite as I have that degree of store loyalty. ) It’s painful enough missing Trader Joe, Home Goods, Bonefish, Bloomingdales, Fuddruckers and other favorite NJ haunts…. if I have to give up Shop-Rite, I’ll be in The Betty Ford Addiction Centers forevermore.

                • amydawn1964

i know what you mean. there is 1 acme that i love. the bakery makes cake with no milk in them. we were on vacation with the kids in delaware. we got off the turnpike to eat breakfast and i turn my head and see an acme. i said to my husband they have a great deal on cereal. all 3 kids, at the same time, said mommy you did not bring your coupons on vacation with us. i laughed and said coupons are in the trunk. my kids tell that story to everyone i know.

                  • Michelle T.

Haha! I bring my coupons when we visit family in DE. They only double up to $1 though, and the stores where I am in NJ fully double. Mama never wants to miss a deal LOL!

            • Dusya

I use shoprite in Mount Pocono on Friday evenings. I never had such a bad experience. Most of the employees are young and coupon friendly. Maybe consider shopping at different hours. There is also Weis store near by. Did you try there?

              • Sherry Z

I don’t like that store. It’s not comparable in price and, as it’s not popular and typically empty of customers, the items are not as fresh, sadly. I’m so particular to Shop-Rite. I so wish we were closer to Bartonsville but it’s unreasonable to drive that very very far! Giant is nice but, again, more expensive and also not as conveniently located. Evenings are inconvenient for me. I was very pleased with the staff until this very sudden bout of terminations and resignations. There is massive chaos and I suspect you may find some effect in the evening, too. Even the new assistant manager is already miserable.

Today was the very first time I did not to get newspapers as it seems pointless.

                • amydawn1964

acme. since they have taken over a lot of pathmarks/a&p’s have come a long way with the stuff being fresh. and sometimes, you cant beat their sales. you can get 6 pack sodas for 1.00, dont even need a coupon. this week, they have a buck a bag sale. salad, onions and a whole bunch of other stuff. you should give them another try. if something is not to your liking there, speak to the manager. they are more than willing to be friendly, helpful and go out of their way. shoprite, in staten island, is like your store. i refuse to go in there. only time, is when i have to take my mother food shopping. i go over the bridge, pay a 15.00 toll, just to avoid the shoprites where i live. great thing about new jersey, is they have shoprites everywhere. so if there is a great deal, i can go to 3 or 4 stores and stock up. well worth the price of the bridge

      • Sherry Z

No….. There is currently no employee who is familiar…. it is just that simple. The sudden termination of so many employees in conjunction with the resignation of others resulted in the promotion of inexperienced new employees who are not seasoned. I have never seen a situation such as this. Those who were promoted are not pleased. There is genuinely no one there who is familiar with the policies no less the endless rules associated with couponing. I suppose this would be the appropriate time for me to transfer to the Shop-Rite that is far away though I do not know anything about their familiarity either since it was the owner of both stores daughter who said that my purchase needed to be re-scanned.

The world’s largest Shop-Rite is the other option, a fabulous store, but it is so far that it is absurd to consider. I have posted in search of another couponer who would like to share the trip so that it would make sense but I have receive no responses.

        • geoff84

Just wondering, where is the world’s largest ShopRite? Is it bigger than Wegmans?

    • penny

This has happened to me before and a manager has made me cry in front of customers. Bc she was rude and treated me like i was a thief. It was also a day before we had a terrible storm in southern ct. Her name i will never forget . (NANCY)
The stores are independly owned. So it very hard to reach corporate.. but i called and she apologized to me few weeks later. But i never felt humiliated in my entire life. Im a mom of 3 kids good thing they werent there.

      • Sherry Z

        awful…

        • Leonila H.

This happened to me also. The manager voided the whole transaction. Re-rung the same items and I ended up paying 73 cents…instead of the -28 cents. I didnt argue anymore. Figured, 73 cents only. Btw, this particular manager is always a pain…like she knows everything. When a coupon with multiple barcodes beeped, I suggested to her to try scanning each barcode by ‘hiding’ other ones with her fingers. She totally brushed it off with major attitude. I usually just let it go then return the item immediately.

          • Shopper123

It’s like in order to coupon at the stores, one must develop a ‘couponer’s thick skin.’ I say a little prayer while waiting in line and prepping my coupons. I know not every cashier ‘gets’ coupons and/or are not trained about them. Some do get under my ‘couponer’s skin’ tho, esp. when their attitudes are so negative.

        • Salles Viana Gomes de Magalhae

It is interesting that after some time couponing I learned to see if a cashier is coupon friendly or not just by looking to his/her face… Basing on my experience, for some reason, most of the time older ladies are the least coupon friendly cashiers.

          • george

I understand your position. However, rather than call the older cashiers not coupon friendly I’d rather look at them as experienced shoppers. You cannot pull the wool over their eyes. Although most couponers are honest people, there are some who try to cheat. You can’t fool experienced cashiers. The younger cashiers could care less about their employers bottom line. They are there to earn an hourly rate. Period.

            • Salles Viana Gomes de Magalhae

I agree with you that many of them are trying to be a good cashier and, thus, they make an effort to catch dishonest couponers (that, like you said, represents a small percentage of the couponers). However, in my experience a significant percentage of these cashiers do not know the policies of the store: for example, some time ago I tried to use my Plenti points at Rite Aid on the final price of my purchase (after coupons). A cashier told me what I was doing was fraud because I was supposed to use my points before using the coupons (so that I could not use coupons if the total values of the items I was purchasing was smaller than the amount of Plenti points I had). Similarly, a PriceChopper cashier refused to double a coupon because it had a “available at Walmart” printed in it (and, thus, this cashier thought this coupon was a competitor coupon) — I even talked to the supervisor (also an older lady) when this happened and this supervisor said that the cashier was right! .

      • MisterBill

It’s not hard to reach corporate, 1-800-SHOPRITE. It may be difficult to get to them to do something about a non-corporate store.

        • Sherry Z

how will that help? the owner has owned two stores long before they were shoprites and has a dreadful reputation and owns all the other stores in the area.

      • Casey Stapleton

Ugh! I have dealt with her as well. She is awful! That is why many times I will drive the extra 20 minutes to somewhere more coupon friendlier.

      • Peggy in CT

Is this the Stratford Store? If so, I have had a run in with her too. I complained to the head store manager but got the song and dance about how people abuse coupons. I have a love hate with that store. Very few friendly cashiers seem to be left.

        • penny

Yes it it is. Im a frequent couponer there and they all know me,but r still skeptical bc of how great i work with my coupons. I dont have a printer so all my coupons are all inserts and she still gave me a hard time. I heard that NANCY is close to the Garofalo family who by the way independently owns that franchise. I drive to Fairfield sometimes to avoid her, but it defeats the purpose of me living only living 5 mins away to my own shoprite.

        • penny

The sad thing is i see so many new faces so all the new cashiers have to be retrain about their own coupon policy. Trust me i know mine. But yes i love and hate that store too. But its the closest. My sister told me shelton shoprite is the best she says she rather drive 20 mins or more for better service. Only 5 people there i remeber who knows i coupon i look for them and they r glad take my coupons.

    • Rocky

What a horrible experience. I feel for you. And, commend you! I know I would not have been able to keep my cool as long as you did! Worst thing is, from what you’ve mentioned, you’re so limited, as far as options… Sorry you had to go through that.

      • Sherry Z

        thank you!

      • Sherry Z

When I return to northern NJ from where I relocated and am in one of my many ShopRites that I used to frequent, I am overcome from the desire to kiss the floor!

        • Rocky

          Hahahah, now that’s gratitude!!!

    • Bruce

That’s why I ALWAYS self scan at my SR.

      • MisterBill

It’s not always an option. Even at my store where I can, they have to do the coupons. Fortunately, my store is not picky about coupons.

      • Sherry Z

I fully agree. Here, we do not have self scanning, SRFH, super coupons, ValuPaks or Coupon Clipper. Competition is inadequate and, as a result, pricing is substantially higher and inventory selection is smaller.

    • Ang In CT

I currently have a balance on my price plus card put there by the manager of my local ShopRite because of recent unpleasant experience. I’ll spare the details as the matter has been resolved to my satisfaction. However, what I learned was that if they owe you money you can have it on your price plus card, put a pin to it and use it like a gift card. You decide when and how much you use. Perhaps that might not apply to your situation but it was news to me. For me this was the best option as I couldn’t physically get to the store to have my bank card refunded.

      • Sherry Z

There are a variety of viable options however if the employee insists that none are acceptable and insists that calling another Shop-Rite is her idea of calling Corporate, you have no sensible individual with whom to problem solve.

    • Danielle Murgia

That is the exact reason that I drive to Brodheadsvile every week to do my shopping. The Mt. Pocono shoprite is on my way home from work, but they are so nasty and inept that I will not even stop there for one item. Last time, they refused to take half of my coupons and then made me unpack my groceries to match all the coupons. I called corporate on them and got nothing but an apology. I took the same coupons to the Brodheadsville shoprite and used them with no problem!

      • Jasmin

I was thinking of taking the drive there. I go to the Stroudsburg one, but it’s the same thing.

    • jenn

Wow, those Partners in Caring strike again. Sorry you had such a awful experience. Most of the cashiers are miserable where I shop, which is why I use SRFH. Most of those cashiers are pleasant.

    • Jasmin

This has been happening to me at my shoprite, I called corporate and they said they will do something. Yet, everytime this happens they are always trying to find an error.

  • Molly

I don’t think that Archway Cookies coupon has reset in years. It never works. Just always says ‘our records show you have previously printed this offer’.

    • Barbara

it still prints though. You can always contact the company for coupons if you wish.

  • Sherry Z

Any help on what digital coupons we should grab?

    • d

we don’t know what they are yet, not until they are released

    • MisterBill

They’re still not up yet (SR is running late, great). I would look for one for McCormick taco mix. They’re already free with the 50c/2 RP coupon (available for printing) but there’s been an e-coupon in the past to make them a MM.

      • Sherry Z

        thank you.

      • Don

        S* up with McCormick 50/2

        • MisterBill

Yes, and it turns out that the e-coupons WERE available when I posted at 4am, I was just going based on the number availabe (< 100) and did not scroll thru. Hopefully I didn't miss anything good. There is free Ortega taco seasoning with the 50c/2 coupon and 50c/2 e-coupon, but not better than free.

  • Ken

Can you buy multiples of 6 with the buy 6 get $3 off deal? Meaning could I buy 12 in 1 transaction and get $6 off.

    • Sandy

Limit of 4 offers. So yes- but just make sure on the shelf tag they are not limiting you to 4 per variety. When in doubt always split up your transactions.

    • Rocky

And your coupons might limit you, also, with the general limit of 4 like coupons in one transaction.

      • MisterBill

Yeah, the coupon doubling limit of 4 would definitely be a problem, at least for the Old El Paso deal.

  • MisterBill

There’s a separate post here for a free item e-coupon on SR’s Facebook page that I haven’t seen mentioned. I was just able to load it to my card so I figured I’d mention it.

Save $2.79 on Earthbound Farm Roasted Potatoes – When you buy ONE (1) 20oz pkg Earthbound Farm Roasted Potatoes, Red, Yukon Gold or Sweet Potato (Frozen).

    • Sherry Z

You must access it from a computer; it cannot be accessed from a smartphone or tablet.

    • Michelle

I don’t think I have ever seen that brand in the frozen section. I still clipped it nonetheless..

      • dc

expires 1/30, so we only get the one week to try to find it

  • Rocky

There is a new Savingstar One or Many Nestle Offer that includes Hot Pockets, yay!!! $5 wyb $30. Also includes Lean Cuisine, Nestle Toll House Frozen Cookie Dough, Stouffer’s Entrees, Edy’s Ice Cream and some other items. They haven’t had this deal in a couple of years. Glad it’s back!

    • Sherry Z

As usual, thank you much, Rocky )

      • Rocky

        You are quite welcome, Sherry!

      • Rocky

Totally unrelated, but, I think I recall you saying in another post that you now like Vintage Seltzer? If that is correct, just wanted to mention that my store has the 1 liter bottles 12/$2.99 (mb12) this week. It might be a little more at your store, but, you might want to check it out, just in case. Unfortunately, I don’t see any coupons around for it, but, that price is still great to me!

        • Sherry Z

Thank you, Rocky… you are such a sweetie!

          • Sherry Z

Odd? I JUST thank you, 4 days AFTER your post and it says YOUR WELCOME from five days ago??????

            • Rocky

It was from your ‘original’ thank you, about the S* offer!

    • Ang In CT

Figures it comes out the week after I stock up on Lean Cuisine. I’m sure that I’ll hit it eventually. I was very happy to see it.

      • Rocky

Oh, I’ve had things like that happen, I know how you feel! I’m just happy that Acme has HP this week for $2!! Maybe there are, or will be some deals coming up soon for some of the Nestlé ice cream novelty products, so, that might help the deal, also!

        • Lesley

The Nestle frozen cookie dough was so good! Tried chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter ones, too. I typically like homemade desserts, but they were very good!!

          • Rocky

Oh, thank you, I forgot about them!!! I have coupons, but, don’t recall when they expire, however, they haven’t been on sale in awhile, so, am hoping that changes!!!

            • Sandy

I’ve been sitting a a raincheck for well over a month – went to three stores looking for the choc. chip and they only have the peanut butter ones so I’m wondering if they’re phasing these out.

              • Lesley

                Peanut butter were good!

                • Sandy

                  Yuck 🙂

              • Rocky

Oh, I hope not! I wish they had sugar cookies version, but, figured, if not, at least I would be able to get chocolate chip! I will have to keep my fingers crossed. A couple of family members might like the P.B., but, not all!

              • Kimberly

I know in my store they stopped carrying most varieties besides two so it may be a company wide thing

                • Rocky

                  Awwww, bummer!

            • Lesley

I got them when they were $0.99 after coupon. I like that I can take out a few and not eat them all at once!!

              • Rocky

Oh, my! I couldn’t do that with my family, but, it sure sounds nice, hahahah!

  • Natalya

$0.75 off any One (1) Silk Creamer nla… is there a zip I can try please?

  • MisterBill

So what’s the word on the Old El Paso deal? Are the coupons fully doubling and making it a $3 MM before the S* and e-coupons? Or is the $3/6 savings coming off each item individually and reducing the doubling?

    • Lesley

The $3 came off for me after the 6th item was scanned. I bought 4 of the Bold taco shells at $1.99 and 1 box of Stand N Stuff at $1.25 (also a can of refined beans). I had 3 $0.75 coupons for the Bold tacos and one $0.75 coupon for taco shells (forgot where I got this from). They all fully doubled. I assume that the last coupon I mentioned counted towards the Bold taco shells. HTH!

      • MisterBill

Thanks. I bought 4 and 2 and all of them fully doubled. Of course, my math was off and it’s really not a $3 MM, since you pay 50c for each of the Bold taco shells after coupon. So it’s actually 26c MM on each of the 2 cheaper shells and the 75c e-coupon, plus the S*.

BTW my boxes of the Bold shells had a $5 MovieCash offer when you spend $10 on participating OEP. You can email a copy of the receipt. Certainly worth trying.

        • Lesley

Cool! I’ll have to check my boxes. We really like the Bold taco shells! Wish my store had the ranch flavor.

          • rnee

I purchased these boxes a couple weeks ago. It took less than 24 hours for the email with the code to arrive in my inbox for the movie concession stand offer.

  • Jennifer Zieno

My add for Shop Rite this week says that its triple coupons. I do not see Triple anywhere in this weeks matchups?

  • Jennifer Zieno

My add for Shoprite this week says its Tripple Coupons. I dont see anywhere on these matchups that its triple?

    • Fiona

Lucky you! It’s not in the matchups because that is very rare! In the fine print of the coupon, it says, “Available at Shoprites of Hudon, Albany, Colonie, Niskayuna and Slingerlands.” I wish my Shoprite would do that!

      • Rocky

Oh, me, too!!! My SR hasn’t had triple coupons in many, many, many, many, many years…

      • sandyk

I have never seen triple coupons in Connecticut.

  • Rocky

FYI, I sent my brother to pick up a few things for me and he just came back with the following My Shoprite cat coupons: $2/2 Chock Full o’Nuts; $1.50/2 Pepsi cans 101.4 oz.; $1.50 off $5 or more packaged lunchmeat; $1 off $4 or more ‘wholesome snacks’; $1 off $4 or more yogurt. He’s a good boy. Hahahah!!!

    • Michelle T.

I got different ones tonight: .75 any General Mills cereal 12.5 oz or larger, $1/$4 paper plates, cups, napkins, $1.50/2 any 2 1.5 liter or larger Coke, $1.50/$6 Paper towels, $1/$3 oral care. All Store coupons! Jackpot!

      • Rocky

OMG! I like yours MUCH better, LOL!!!

  • Renee

Has anyone else been having issues with the catalinas not printing when the offer is not listed in the shoprite flyer or on the shelf tag? My Post catalina for the honey bunches of oats did not print and my Kraft shredded cheese catalina did not print last week. Because the item is not listed at my shoprite customer service could not help me. Total bummer. Two weeks ago, my Glade catalina did not at Rite Aid. I had contacted the catalina company about that one and they responded that they have no record of it being an offer.

    • Leslie

I had two problems with the Kraft/Cracker Barrel cats and I too had to go to the CATALINA website because I had no tangible proof to show to CS but my post CAT printed no problem for there was a shelf tag.

    • Rocky

My Kraft American Cheese Singles cat printed okay, but, I can appreciate your concern. I wish Catalina Marketing hadn’t done away with their old website (coupon network, I think?) where you could actually print out your own copies of the announcements. Plus, they used to also have good value printables, sigh…

  • Rocky

Off topic, but, has anyone else noticed the dearth of ‘For You’ ecoupons in the last few weeks? I just got one for $5 off any catering order of $50 or more (that’s not happening!) after not receiving any for weeks! Sheesh!

    • MisterBill

I’ve gotten some, but nothing last week or this week. What I have noticed is not getting any “My Shoprite” coupons on the Catalina machine, but I got a bunch today, including $1.50 off a frozen food purchase that I used on the order. I realized after leaving the store that I should have scanned my other cards to try to get the coupons, even though I was only doing a single transaction. I did find some on a self-scan register that someone didn’t take.

      • Rocky

Yes, I did get some of the My Shoprite coupons, today, also. It seems that we are getting a bunch of different offers. Am glad that they are back!

        • MisterBill

Yeah, I saw you posted about that a little further down.

          • RobinW

I usually stack my inserts and gang cut the coupons, because it is the most efficient way. Then I take the coupons and either individual make the edges unique. If I have a large number of coupons, for me greater than 10, I individualize the edges of sets of 3 and then shuffle them in my stack.

    • Jessa

The last “for you” coupon I got was 2 weeks ago for dole salad. Wish I hadn’t lol!

      • Rocky

Oh, yeah! Bad timing on that one!

      • Lesley

Me too. I had two and I bought them due to the coupon. We ate an entire bag and a half. We got our money back, but hopefully no one gets sick.

    • sandyk

I got one a couple of weeks ago for Chicken Voila, but it never came off and I’ve bought it twice since I got it. It still sits there mocking me.

      • Rocky

I’ve had that happen, so frustrating that an ecoupon seems to have that power over us, LOL!!! Only sometimes do I stop by CS to tell them about it and get my money back…

    • george

I received a “for you” eCoupon for a free 12 pack of Spritz cookies, whatever they are. But for free, I’ll try it.

      • Rocky

        Yep, free is good!!

    • Leslie

I received a “for you” coupon for dog food but if the computer is tracking my pet spending habits it would know that I have been buying cat only products for over two decades. I wish it was a bit more customized rather than randomized, however, if I can pair the dog food offer with a paper q and get a good deal I will put it the pet shelter food collection box in my SR.

      • Rocky

I’ve had that happen, also. I’m not sure what prompts them to offer folks certain items. I can see if it’s an item that someone has purchased another brand, of, and a competitor wants you to try their brand, but, dog food for a cat person is a little, ummm, outside the scope!

  • Sarah Brown

Shopping at Shoprite in Norwich, CT… The store is no longer accepting newspaper coupons that are “stacked” or “gang” cut. each “like” coupon now needs to be cut differently or they will not accept. They said the store is not getting reimbursed by the manufacturer for stack cut coupons…? They were patient and let my cut each coupon at the register so they were different but WTH!!! It’s getting harder and harder to coupon!

    • MisterBill

Sounds like they’re cracking down on people who buy in bulk from coupon sellers.

      • RobinW

(I posted in the wrong thread earlier) I usually stack my inserts and gang cut the coupons, because it is the most efficient way. Then I take the coupons and either individual make the edges unique. If I have a large number of coupons, for me greater than 10, I individualize the edges of sets of 3 and then shuffle them in my stack.

      • KarenRiccuio

Seems silly…what if a consumer bough a bunch of newspapers and cut them with paper trimmers?

    • RobinW

Stores were submitting large number of gang cut coupons in the late 1970’s for reimbursement. A 25 cent coupon was created for the laundry detergent ,Breen, and larger numbers of those coupons were submitted for reimbursement. This was a sting and stores that submitted those coupons were caught because Breen never existed.

  • Rocky

Off hand, does anyone know if SRs carry a small package of the Breathe Right Nasal Strips? My closest srfh only shows 26 and 30 ct. packages on sale for $9.99. I was wondering if there is any kind of deal on a small package that the $2 insert and $2 S* might go well, with. TIA!!

    • eggs

I’ve gotten 10 ct packages of breathe right at SR before, but recently my store has only carried 10 packs of the lavender ones (which irritate my skin). They were around $6 and then clearanced down to $2, I’m not sure if they carry any now.

      • Rocky

        Thanks, eggs!

  • Kimberly

Curiosity question for my fellow couponers. Anyone else from the Lower Westchester/Hudson Valley area and having issues receiving their coupons? I am a Journal News New York Post buyer but this week in my redplums I did not find the McCormick coupon in either. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue.

    • geoff84

Coupon distribution can vary by area. Sometimes I don’t receive insert coupons that are mentioned here, or they’re for a different amount (e.g. instead of $1 off one, it’s $1 off two). It doesn’t happen a lot but it’s not unusual. I wonder how they decide where to distribute – for example, people in the Hudson Valley don’t eat as many tacos? 🙂

      • Rocky

I’ve read that there a number of factors that go into their decisions. Values, for example, can be based on areas with a heavy saturation of stores that double. Instead of issuing a .75/1 coupon, they will issue a $1/2. Areas that do not have any, or as many stores that double will get the .75/1 now. Where the coupons are issued can be based on where sales of certain lines of their products might be lagging. And so on…

  • Hema Shivram

Why do I not see the Wet n Wild as well as the Ortega coupons in SR’s digital coupons?

    • Harry

possibly NLA to clip now. Good ecoupons have limited number of clips available and get taken by 8 AM Sunday. If you need the good ecoupons, you need to clip them on Sunday morning usually before 8 AM though it can vary between 3 AM and evening depending on how popular the coupon is.

      • Allsorts2210@gmail.com

Thats strange since i was up at 3:45am sunday to load eq and didnt see any of the mentioned eq

        • Fiona

There was no Wet N Wild ecoupon (and it’s not listed above), but the Ortega $0.50/2 was available to clip when I clipped mine after 8 am.

  • Rocky

There is supposed to be a $3/1 Diabetic Tussin coupon in this past weekend’s inserts, but, I didn’t get it in mine, so, assume it is regional. My srfh shows only one item for this brand, the Cough Suppressant-Expectorant Max Strength, 4 oz., but, it is on sale for $2.79! The sale duration just says ‘valid from 1/24/16’, so, don’t know if that will extend into next week. It looks like a PP sale at $2 off, so, the coupon might go through without a hitch. If anyone has this coupon and can report back, I would appreciate it, but, at the least, it should be free, thanks!

    • Aron

I also found a 3 off one is SS 11/22

      • Rocky

Oh, wow, it must have a long expiration date! That’s good!

        • Selma

I had the $3.00 off from my SS 11/22 also, and yes, it expired sometime at the end of February! Deal worked great, I know people who are diabetic and they can really use this medicine since it will be safe for them. Thanks Rocky!!!

          • Rocky

Oh, great, thanks, Selma! I want to pick up a few for my brother!

            • nick hill

Hi Rocky. I have several coupons from 11/22 and from the past weekend that I would be happy to send you as I wont be using them (and hate to waste). I am in CT so you should recieve by the end of the week/sale if I can ge them in the mail later today. Not sure how to contact you privately via this site to get mailing details if you are interested?

              Best Regards,
              Nic

              • nick hill

I just checked the nearest SRFH here and the Diabetic Tussin sale price is until March 12th so plenty of time (assuming sale is the same where you are) to get the deal.

                • Rocky

                  Wow, that’s great, thank you!

              • Rocky

Hi, Nic, that is SO nice of you! It turns out, though, that, although they weren’t in my inserts, I do have some on the way, so, I’m good. Thank you, though, for your kind and generous offer. It is very much appreciated!!! Oh, and the way we contact folks here is to request an email address from them and then contact them that way, for a mailing address, privately. Thanks, again!

  • Rocky

Just one of my rambles – I think I will have to get my daughter to switch to LA Choy Soy Sauce, at least temporarily (she is a sworn Kikkoman girl and can tell the difference when I try to…fool her!). At a 39c price after the coupon and sale, I really can’t pass that up (and the sale is good through 2/13!), especially since I have only about an inch left in the K. bottle at home! Lately, we don’t seem to have as many good deals on the K., like we used to, and, sadly, my supply has dried up…

  • sally

can’t find $0.25/1 Maruchan Bowl, exp. Varies…. NLA?

    • Sam

      It’s nla

  • Rocky

Red Robin Fries and Onion Rings are on sale for $3 this week, but, I hope they go lower. There are a couple of different insert coupons out there for them. A $1/2 and a great .75/1. I would love to get them for a dollar a bag, like last year when their coupons were out! I think there was also a period of time when I got them for 50c, though that might have been at Acme.

    • CouponDood

Rocky…SnS (maybe Giant PA) has sale on Red Robin Fries and Onion Rings starting Friday …two for $5…

      • Rocky

        Ahhh, better, thank you!

  • Bob

Is anyone having problems with the Goya coupon site? I tried to print the olives, which I have never printed before, and after it runs a bit, it states the coupon image is not available, and I click the print button. Then it states it appears I have reached the coupon limit. I tried with the Goya coffee also, never printed before, same error. Tried Chrome and IE, then even in incognito mode and created an acct for my Dad. Same issues!

    • Fiona

I’ve been having that problem too! I feel like I’ve tried everything.

  • Wing

Just wanted to give you an update on the Bird’s Eye Flavor Full. They are part of the 4 for $4 and the coupons take off the full amount of the coupon ($1.50!). Which means it’s a $2 overage to your transaction!

    • Rocky

That’s great, thanks for reporting, back!

    • Ang In CT

Has anyone had any luck finding a variety that’s tasty? It’s great if you can get the overage but would be better if they tasted better too.

      • Rocky

Good question, but, from what folks have been reporting back, it doesn’t seem like it! At this ‘price’ (!), though, will probably pick up 4 of the Teriyaki Broccoli. I can use it in stir fry, where I can adjust the other flavors. Last time I had it I did use it for that, but, I also added a bag of the Asian Protein, so, I’ll get 4 of those, also. I think, overall, the Flavor Full was a big fail for the company, probably why that coupon was $1.50, compared to the $1 Protein version!

      • Wing

I bought the Fiesta Lime Corn and while I haven’t tried it yet, I’m hoping it’ll taste good (honestly this was the only one that sounded appealing to me)….

I’ve tried the sour cream and onion and I had to throw away all 5 remaining bags because they were so disgusting.

        • Kristy

I just tried the fiesta lima corn last week and all four of us thought it was gross! We threw it away. Nobody wanted to eat the remaining.

  • Jocelyn Alvarez

Just wanted to point out …and i’m not sure if this was posted already by Cindy but the Nestle Pure water is giving $1 catalina back if you buy two and there is a coupon for $1/2.

    • Rocky

Nice, thanks, I always like good water deals!

    • Barbara

      Thanks Jocelyn.

    • Michelle

I didn’t get the catalina and I bought 2 of them today.. Do you perhaps know or remember when the catalina ends?

      • Rocky

I’m SO excited (yes, you can all sing along with me!)! First, a family member gave me his My Shoprite cat coupons so I got ones that I didn’t have (the produce, paper towels, dairy, etc. ones!). Saved me about another $6 on my order! Then, on my way out of the store, I found a small stack of them, basically the same ones (which I was really happy with!), but, also, some store coupons for products! Then, the piece de resistance! Mixed in the middle of the pile was a Kimberly Clark $5 oyno – WOOHOO!!! It was a good trip, all around!

  • disqus_eizsgrfUr8

I don’t know if anyone experienced this yesterday, but the Post cereal catalina was still printing one day after expiration

    • Harry

Great, thanks for the post. This could mean its extended it for another week or two…going to give it a try today..mobi has 0.75 back for post hbo.

    • Sunil

I was going to post this as well, then saw your comment.

Was upset the snow storm cost me to miss this deal, but I bought them on Monday anyway and was pleasantly surprised that the catalina printed.

Was going to go out Monday night again to get more, but couldn’t. Bought 3 more this morning and the cat still printed.

      Awesome.

  • Sam

I had to order inserts online due to the snow storm. i went around to multiple stores looking for the sunday paper but nobody got it though everyone has the monday and tuesday paper. i guess they just skipped sunday. I don’t blame them, we did get 30 inches of snow but i was really looking forward to some of these deals. i hope they still have the deals when i get my coupons in the mail.

  • Rocky

I wonder if we’re going to have a Unilever coupon/cat deal next week? There are supposed to be a whole bunch of the Dove, etc., coupons coming out this weekend, and, Monday is the 1st. There might be new S* offers, also, since the current ones expire on the 30th. I am, of course, ‘patiently’ awaiting the new Ad Scan, hahahah!!!

    • Rocky

Update, it was just posted, have to check it out! Thanks, LRWC!!!

      • Rocky

Lotsa nice Instant Savings deals, including one for Solo paper plates, for which a cat deal starts next week, I think!!

        • Barbara

          it started yesterday. i believe

          • Rocky

Oh, wow, thanks, Barbara! I wasn’t even paying attentiin!!!

  • Sam

The Honey bunches of oats catalina printed for me today! It’s still in effect. i was so happy to get the catalina since i couldn’t get out of my house to do the deal sunday.

  • ParisIn CT

I purchased 3 post Honey bunches of oats and received $2 catalina. Looks like Post Catalina is back

    • CouponDood

I purchased three Honey Bunches of Oats and only got $1 CAT…..strange because I bought the same three boxes yesterday and got a $2 CAT then. Weird.

  • Kabbystevens

I also got the $2 cat when I bought 3 honey bunches of oats today…nice surprise!

  • ParisIn CT

I was wondering if there was an option just to comment/question that is more general than the specific deal/store?
I am actually looking on buying a WIFI printer that will be economical considering ink cartridges cost. the printer is mainly used for printing coupons

    • Michelle T.

Your best bet is a black and white laser printer. You will replace the toner WAY less than inkjet cartridges. A Brother printer has been highlighted here before, I bought my in-laws a Samsung, and I have a Canon. All good printers, way cheaper printing, will never look back 🙂 Edit: the only problem I have with my Canon is that some coupon printing software looks like a PDF and will not print. I think the best bet is the Brother, it goes on sale every so often on Amazon or maybe Best Buy,

      • ParisIn CT

Thank you Michelle. But are you able to print from coupon app using all the above wifi printers you suggested.

        • Michelle T.

Not on my Canon. But I can print on a different Brother wifi laser printer we have from my phone and iPad, so I would think the B&W Brother printer recommended here would. Anyone else have it?

I agree about the Brother laser printers. I have two HL2140 and one 5470DW (wifi) which I use the App from iPad, iPhones like a dream. I buy toner from Amazon Marketplace, Ebay or Meritline for $7-$10 and lasts for about 9 months. Recommend highly.

I can’t help on the coupon app to wifi printer front, but I have to agree with Michelle that a Brother laser printer is the way to go. I have a mfc-7340 and have had it for 5 years now.

I have replaced the drum roller twice total and the ink toners probably once (sometimes twice) a year. I use it for my home office as well as coupons, so I print a decent volume on a daily basis.

Also, instead of buying ink toners you can buy powdered ink and refill it yourself (what I do) which saves a ton of money.

I also have a canon pixma (inkjet) which runs through ink like I run through bottles of water on a 100 degree summer day.

We have the Brother MFC-9340 in my husband’s home office, it is a good multi-function color laser printer, but more than most homes would need, also more expensive. But for mostly coupon printing, a wifi mono (black and white) laser printer is great. I have the Canon LBP-6030 which is great for wifi printing from my laptop. I have to print to the Brother when I want to print from my iPhone or iPad, and from coupon printing sites like Qples. Some sites see my Canon as PDF and won’t let the print job go thru. But the cut down on ink costs has been HUGE by switching from inkjet to laser!

            • Sunil

I agree Michelle. The multi-function is definitely overkill for printing coupons alone and a standalone printer would do a great job. I was speaking more for the quality, durability and efficiency of the brother laser printer which is excellent in my opinion.

While I would mostly agree on the benefits of the laser as you have mentioned, the one thing that keeps me using it more (I have both an old laser and a Canon inkjet) the power consumed by the laser is high enough for me to keep using the Canon inkjet which takes up lesser KWH (I did some measurements though not scientific using the P5 meter). I get the the ink multipacks cartridges from meritline when they have a sale (usually once a month – notification can be got by subscribing to the emails). Four 5-packs of ink cost $15 at Meritline on sale – four times refill of all the ink tanks last about 1 year for me. One other thing is that you can print well beyond an inkjets :”empty” notification by pressing ok button. I keep going until it starts to visibly fade (have lost couple coupons this way, but saved much on ink) – usually about 30 to 40 pages more can be printed. I do not care much about the warnings of using non-Canon ink or of going several past the empty notification because if the print head goes, a new WiFi printer could be got for around $70 on sale (which is much more than I have saved by using the non-Canon ink and ignoring the notifications). My mx882 has been going on for about 3 years now.

However the printer is cheap and the coupons are crystal clear. I just use generic refill cartridges and they work perfectly. You can then set printer to print in black and white only. I use a Canon Pixma MG5520 but there are models available for $40.00 or so.

You can join the shoprite couponers facebook group, it’s an excellent resource.

Everyone in my family has a canon (color) and for all the different printers, I’ve been able to buy CHEAP refills on Amazon…never had any problems but I only pick refills with 4+ stars. The printer might be a little more expensive upfront but I’ve saved so much on the ink.

    hi all
in the albany store store we have mighty dog priced at $0.62 each and yesterday i notice that some new e-coupon came out. one was $1.75/5. i thought it was odd that some e-coupons came out in the middle of the week so i clipped them anyways. you still can print out the $1.75/5 coupon making this a $0.40 money make when buying 5 can’s of mighty dog. but i did get lucky because they also have on clearance on some flavors of mighty at $0.40 each so i was able to make this deal into a $1.50 money maker. i hope this helps some of you. happy shopping. 🙂
