PF Changs Recall

A nationwide recall of nearly 200,000 pounds of frozen meals was issued by ConAgra in partnership with the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) due to the possible presence of metal fragments in the meals’ sauce.

191,791 pounds of the P.F. Chang’s frozen entrees including Garlic Chicken with Dan Dan Noodles, Mongolian Style Beef and Grilled Chicken Teriyaki are included in this recall, which is actually an expansion of a July 8th recall of nearly 4,000 pounds of products.

According to a press release, the issue with these items is the possible presence of “curled, malleable and shiny” metal fragments ranging from 2-9mm in diameter. They are reported to be embedded in the sauce contained within each of the meals.

Here’s a complete list of the affected products, courtesy of the USDA FSIS website.
