CVS Shopping Trip

For the 3rd week in row, I woke up on Sunday morning…checked my CVS app…and found ZERO new deals for the week.  Nothing!  My first reaction of course is BUMMER.   But then I remembered about a little treasure that printed on my CVS receipt from last week:  $10/$50 total purchase!   I think we all know how easy it is to spend $50 at CVS.  So I checked my manufacturer coupons, went back to our weekly match ups and went to work!  The total cost of this shopping trip was $9.37 after coupons, rebates and Extra Bucks Rewards…..for over $100 worth of products!  The lesson I learned from this shopping experience is: DON’T BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU DON’T GET SPECIAL OFFERS EVERY SUNDAY ON YOUR CVS app.  There are still plenty of ways to score great deals!

Did everyone get their FREE Colgate toothpaste and U by Kotex Fitness products?  Freebies are always first on my list!

Included in my shopping trip was a clearance find that wasn’t marked correctly on the shelf.  U by Kotex Sleek tampons 18 ct. (regular, unscented only) were marked for clearance at 25% off but when I scanned it at the price checker…..it was actually 75% off….I used a $1/1 U by Kotex product printable and the final price was only $0.49!

Below is a complete list of what was purchased.  You can see the breakdown for each making it very easy for you to mix and match deals and know exactly how much each deal costs.

These are the CVS coupons used in this transaction:

REMEMBER: Extra Care Bucks have an expiration date so you want to be sure and use them before they expire.  I am already planning how to use the ECBs I earned on this shopping trip for my next shopping trip!

Be sure to share your favorite deals this week as well. Happy Savings!
