Information about Listeria and Contaminated Products

At this time, the recall of these products is limited and the FDA has no reports of illness or injury. However, the FDA warns consumers to be cautious and not to consume these products.

It is also important to note that listeria monocytogenes can cause serious, adverse reactions in many people. Most notably, listeria contamination can lead to miscarriage or stillbirth among pregnant women. Listeria may also have fatal effects in the very old, very young, or immunocompromised. If you believe you have been exposed, check for signs and symptoms of listeria poisoning. They include headache, high fever, abdominal pain, stiffness, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Any consumers who have these products should throw them away or return them to the store. If you have questions or concerns, contact distributor United Natural Trading, LLC. Their customer service number is 732-650-9905. They are open from Monday-Friday, from 9am to 5pm EST.
