It’s that time again! Time to check out what deals we can score at Stop & Shop beginning Friday, 11/03 with their new gas reward offers! This week we have 3 gas reward promotions. The first deal is Buy 6 participating products and earn 300 gas reward points, which is equal to $6.00 ($0.30 off per gallon, up to 20 gallons of gas).

There are always many different deal ideas you can work with gas reward deals depending on what you want, need and have coupons for. For the “Buy 6 Get 300 Gas Rewards” offer the best deal I’m seeing to Buy 6 of the Domino Baking Sugars priced at $2.00 each!
We have a $0.50/1 Domino Brown Sugar or Confectioners Sugar 2 Lb Bag, from the 9/10 Regional Smart Source Insert available, as well as a $0.75/2 Domino Sugar Products 2lb +. We’ll pick up 6 bags use our coupons and pay just $6.50 total! We’ll then score the 300 Gas points, and assuming you can fill up with the full 20 gallons of gas you can score all 6 of the Baking Sugars for as low as $0.09 each! Great Deal

The third Gas Rewards deal we have this week is for 2X AMEX Gift Cards!
You can purchase $500 in gift cards and earn 2 times gas points on this purchase. You earn 1 point for each dollar you spend at Stop & Shop, so if you bought a $500 Gift Card during this promotion, you will earn 1,000 gas points, which is equivalent to $1.00 off a gallon of gas at participating Shell Gas Stations.
NOTE: *These deals require a Single $25.00 additional purchase. Also, you can only use a max of $1.50 off per gallon, the rest will remain on your account until they are used or expired.
You can fill up with UP TO 20 gallons of gas using your gas points. If you buy a $500 Gift Card you will have earned $1.00 off of 20 gallons of gas, which is equivalent to $20.00 in savings. So to summarize, with 1,000 gas points (which you will earn for buying a $500 gift card) you can get UP to $20.00 in FREE gas, assuming you can fill up with 20 gallons of gas.
You will then have to deduct the activation fee for the $500 AMEX Gift Card which Stop & Shop will charge you, which ranges from $5.95-$8.95 depending on the value of the gift card. Assuming the activation fee is $5.95, this makes this deal a $14.05 Money Maker ($20.00 less the $5.95 activation fee).
I hope you followed this explanation, as I know gas points can be confusing. If you don’t follow, just ask and we will do our best to make it more clear for you! We call these gift card deals Money Makers because you can use the $500 gift card just like cash – pay bills, get gas, groceries, etc. So you’re taking money you already have budgeted, transferring it onto a gift card and then using it just like you would have used it before – to pay bills, pay for your groceries, etc. except now you’ve got $14.05 in FREE gas. Easy, right!? I hope you think so too!
This deal works in any increment – doesn’t have to be a $500 gift card. You can buy $100 Gift Card and earn 300 Gas Points ($0.30 off per gallon) and so on. You will just “make the most money” on buying the largest gift card amount, which in this case is $500.
