Just be prepared to argue this deal 80% of the time.

Agreed, very likely cashier education will be needed on their own policy though I have noticed that in recent times, most cashiers are more aware of “multiple items in single package” language and do the override without much fuss.

BTW BJs has moved to load to card ecoupons as well. Not sure how that would work with mfr.

      • MicheleAna

Most cashiers aren’t even aware of load to card coupons so they just push them through but u find even some managers don’t know the multiple barcode in one pack coupon policy. It’s so frustrating because I really dislike being the rude customer. Even when it’s said nicely.

Can you explain why the first deal deducts $8.49 and the second and third deduct $8.99? And how do you justify that amount in the first place? Agree with MicheleAna, this seems destined to be a difficult deal to get. The only way it might work is if self-scan registers auto-deduct the coupon amount.

The Johnson baby shampoos and lotions do not have their own barcode therefore you need to buy two of the packs at BJs to use the BOGO coupon. 🙁

    • MisterBill

Do they not have barcodes at all, even covered up. There is always only going to be one visible UPC on bundle packs. I believe the BJ’s policy says that it has to be a separate package, which this qualifies for.

The same thing happened with me. I told them it is buy one get one free, they said it will be used as buy one pack get 8.99 deducted from the second one 🙁
