Betty crocker deal is pay $5.00 not $2

    • MisterBill

I think it’s missing the 50c/2 coupon that you would use. In theory, you could use 4 or 5 of them. If the register took and doubled 5, it could potentially be free. If you only used 4 and factor in the 50c/2 e-coupon (which is legit since you’re only using coupons on 8 of them), it would be 50c.

      • nick hill

Do you think the 50/2 digital will bring the total below the $10 threshold for the $5 savings? Sometimes they mess things up so it might be good to buy 11 and pay 50c or $1 total depending on whether the 5th printable doubles.

        • more then likely

        • Karen

Agree, I would buy 11-12 as the digitals sometimes (but not all the time) affect the Instant Savings deals.

          • MisterBill

Or buy one frosting ($1.50) instead of cake mix ($1).

            • Karen

Good point! With digital/printables/IS, this looks like a good deal for items we use.

              • Lesley

Hopefully someone will do the deal and report back. I’d love to do the deal like MisterBill said and get a frosting.

        • MisterBill

Or get a frosting instead of cake mix. Total is $10.50 and $10 after the 50c/2 e-coupon.

          • nick hill

            Great idea!

    • all fixed up sorry about that i had the final price per item correct, just forgot to change it to pay $5 – When I received the ad it was a bit deceiving, and I had a deal in there as an instant savings – but it is a digital offer, so no stacking.

      • MisterBill

According to a post on FB, it’s considered a store coupon, so it will stack with paper coupons with no overrides.

  • MisterBill

The Wewalka dough deal listed above is wrong. You’re showing it at $2.79 rather than B1G1F.

    • yes – just a small error – final price was still right though 😉

      • MisterBill

Should mention that it will be better than free and have some overage.

        • i added it to the print list – and I can confirm overage as i bought some today 🙂

  • MisterBill

Question.. I have a $5 off $15 e-coupon this week. That’s before paper coupons, right? I’m thinking that the $5 after e-coupons on the Betty Crocker deal will count towards it.

  • leslie

where r the store cpns that u need to spend $25

    • Ash Patel

usually you find them in home sales flyer that comes in the mail

      • leslie

        thanks

    • Etah

They are usually on the front page of the weekly flyer and in the fine print it says “with additional minimum purchase of $25”

      • leslie

        thank you

  • MisterBill

On the Buitoni fresh pasta deal, there is a $1/1 e-coupon that expires on Saturday. The Coupon Database claims it expires today (11/10) but that is incorrect.

  • Denise

I got a digital coupon for a free Nature’s Promise Organic Spice Packet, .10-.20oz ($1.19 max value). I didn’t see it mentioned here, and I was wondering if anybody else got it.

    • IK

      i got that one,too

    • MisterBill

Yes, last Monday I believe. Someone posted that it did not work for them, so I haven’t tried using it yet. I read elsewhere that they are B2G2F this week (don’t see it listed here) so if you need them, you could get 4 for the price of 1.

  • MisterBill

Has anyone looked for the Carolina brown rice at S&S? My store only had the 2 pound package. I had hoped to buy the 1 pound with the new 50c/1 coupon and then get the 50c S*.

Also, did anyone check pricing for the Advil Cold and Robitussin products? I meant to last week and forgot again today. There were $3 e-coupons that expire tomorrow to match last week’s RP coupon. Since SR did not have matching e-coupons and there was no matching S*, I had been hoping that S&S would be an option for a deal, but I’m guessing not.

    • Mark

I read elsewhere that the e-coupon for Robitussin was not coming off. That was one day last week. I’m not sure if it was fixed.

    • MisterBill

Update — found the Carolina rice for $1.39.

      • IK

have you found the Harvest Stone at S&S?

        • nick hill

I did by the crunchmaster in organic section and assumed they were on sale as well. They were $3.49.

          • IK

            Thanks

          • MisterBill

            That’s disappointing!

  • D

The Mamma Chia Squeeze are on sale for $1.25 (from $1.79) & the $0.55/1 coupon on their website reset from the last time I printed it. It says DND but does automatically so 15 cents a piece.

Anyone buy the Orgain Nutritional Shakes 4 pack? I literally have 4 separate $2/1 4-pack digitals on my card and at S&S duplicates often come off at the same time. I’m not saying all 4 would deduct but I wonder how many would since I’m betting more than 1. I looked for these to see pricing but the S&S I was in didn’t carry them.

    • MisterBill

I think that multiple e-coupons only get deducted on the ones that require multiple purchases or the ones marked as “Best”.

  • MisterBill

So what’s the deal on the Schick Xtreme 3 razors? Buy 2 for $4.99 use $7/2 IP and get $7 and $3 e-coupons deducted for a $7 MM? I missed that one last week.

    • its still live 🙂

      • IK

what is the end date on that? is it the 23rd? I apologize if this has been already answered…TIA!

        • MisterBill

BTW I finally bought the Pam Spray at S&S yesterday. I figured that with S&S being so generous on the overage, I wouldn’t be a stickler about the 29c. Plus it helped eat some of the overage.

I did not notice the end date on the price sticker, sorry.

          • IK

            lol…makes sense…

        • yup the 23rd!

      • MisterBill

        Yes, I bought yesterday :).

    • D

Granted I’ve never purchased razors at S&S so I don’t know if this type of digital/deal has come along in the past indicating what would happen, but why, when purchasing 2 packs of the Schick Xtreme 3 would you expect both the $7/2 and $3/1 digitals to deduct for a $7 mm and not just the $7/2 for a $4 mm which is what would happen at SR?

      • Kari

Hi D, the electronic system at S&S applies one coupon per item and generally ignores the “off 1” or “off 2” statements. So in the past, both coupons have come off in this scenario.

      • MisterBill

Because that’s the way it has been reported as working :).

    • Michelle

Did the IP beep for you?

      • Lesley

The $7/2 IP coupon needed an override at Stop & Shop at self-checkout. The $3/1 IP coupon went through fine. At ShopRite yesterday, both the $7/2 and $3/1 went through fine at regular checkout. Not sure why the one coupon needed an override at Stop & Shop.

        • nick hill

At the stores near me all coupons $4 or more need overriding at sco but not at regular registers. Trying to cut down on fraud I was told.

          • Lesley

I did not know that, thanks for letting me know!

          • MisterBill

That’s interesting. I thought it was because the amount of the coupon exceeded the single item price.

Would be interesting to hear if it did not beep at a regular register.

            • IK

as nick said, it’s everything $4 and over for me…

              • MisterBill

So I guess using 2 $3/1 would make for an easier purchase, although you’d lose a dollar.

I did think that the message on the self-scan register screen indicated that it exceeded the item’s price. The register did not give the cashier an option of overriding it, the coupon had to be manually entered.

                • IK

thanks, i will print the $3 ones, too, and decide which to use based on attendant profiling…

          • Selma

For me it’s anything $5 and over. I used a $4 Zantac coupon without issue but a $5 catalina beeped and needed to manually entered, gah.

      • Turntables

        $7/2 beeps of course.

    • IK

i assume you used sco, and the printable beeped?

      • MisterBill

        Corect.

  • MisterBill

Does anyone know how much Voss water is at S&S (assuming they carry it, of course). There are new $2/2 e-coupons and IP available. I found a 24 pack on Peapod but not the individual bottles (but I have to imagine they sell those in the store).

Also, there was what I think is a Buy 1 Get 1 Free e-coupon for Betty Crocker Potatoes, up to $2.18 value. Not sure how that would work with the monthly 50c/2 e-coupon. There is (was?) also a 50c/1 IP at bettycrocker.com, if you haven’t printed it yet and it’s still available.

    • should be 2 free withthe stack possible money maker i forget how much they are but i want to say starting at $1.69 – $1.79

  • Donnyfan

    Free Gillette razors! I bought a 4 + 2 Bonus pk of Sensor 3 for men at 5.99. I used a $3 IP and a $3 eq.

  • Corvie

There is a $2.50 catilina printing for Sargento Cheese. I went to S&S yesterday and bought 4 shredded Sargento cheese, sale 2/$4, used (2) .50/2 coupons (SS 11/5) and received a $2.50 catalina making each cheese only 0.88 each. 4 cheese 2.00=$8.00 – (2) .50/2 coupons=$6.00 received $2.50 catalina making 4 cheese for $3.50 or 0.875 each. WooHoo

    • LD

Is that CAT only for shredded or any sargento? Do you get a smaller CAT for say buying 2? TIA!

      • Corvie

I do not know if it works with other amounts of cheese. The catalina was a happy surprise, I had went to get a few items and gift cards for free grocery money. I did repeat the transaction after I saw that the catalina print. If I go to S&S again today I’ll try a different amount of cheese and I will post what happens.

        • Corvie

It is listed on the current LWRC Catalina page. I can’t post a link but it’s the reg. website address but at the end add (slash) catalina (dash) deals (dash) 2. You can also search ‘catalina’ in the search function at the top of the page and it’s one of the first results.

      • its listed above with the cheese.

      • shredded

    • nick hill

If you need old el paso products and/or have coupons for these then one of the 4 bags of shredded cheese will be free. I bought 4 bags and just over $7 of OEP and had a few coupons and there were peelies for $1/2 were on some of the cans of refried beans. Paid around $8.50 and got the $2.50 cat.

  • Mark

Did anyone buy Sara Lee pies from S&S this week? They are actually much cheaper at Shoprite this week but had plenty of overage from the razor deal to cover the difference. Plus, my S* offer is at S&S. Ibotta at Shoprite.. go figure. Anyway, I did not get credit for them but got BC potatoes in the same order and got S* credit.
