Happy New Year 2018
2018! Another year. Another opportunity to save. Another opportunity to give! Another opportunity to spend with each of you. All the things I love dearly.
The New Year is always a time for reflection. It is a time to decide what we would like to improve in our lives. Maybe it’s to eat healthier, lose weight, exercise more, become more organized, find a new job or many other areas of improvement in our lives. But, I hope that each of you, no matter what your financial situation may be, enter into 2018 and challenge yourself to learn more about savings, learn better ways to be a smart shopper and manage your money.
I hope to help you with that in 2018 which is why I decided to start the Zero to Stockpile Challenge. What better way to show you, the true impact your stockpile can make on your savings, then by purging mine and starting over. I’m nervous to lose my stockpile. I’ve relied on it for the last 10 years and it has saved me tens of thousands of dollars. But, I’m excited for the teaching moments I will have while starting from scratch and rebuilding it over the next 12 weeks. If you are new to couponing, or even a seasoned couponers, I hope you’ll follow me on this journey.
One of our goals here is, not to just feed you deals, but rather, to empower you with knowledge so that you can–on your own–shop smarter. We can give you all the tools to help you save from our Coupon Database, the Grocery Price Comparison to our Shop for Free weekly post and the Rolling your Drugstore Rewards posts but in the end, it’s you out there shopping and saving for your family. So, we teach you as best we can how the deals work, what to look for and how to handle yourself in situations that may arise. It’s like that old saying…
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”
That is what I want for each of you. I hope the Zero to Stockpile Challenge will become another tool on for you. Not just to be able to run out and do that one deal here or there but rather to be empowered with the knowledge to shop smart and save for you and your family over your lifetime.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you, each of you, from the bottom of my heart, for being a part of LRWC. For without each of you there would be no LRWC.
