I read that iceberg lettuce is mostly water. I never buy it anymore.

      • Rocky

That might be. But, it’s still the one I like best!

      • IK

So is watermelon. And cucumbers. 🙂

        • MisterBill

FYI, my $5 Ibotta Appy Bonus (the one we got with the 2 free Groupon purchases) just got reversed, more than a month after it was credited.

      • Sherry Z

In addition to other nutrients in the three foods discussed, Iceberg lettuce, surprisingly, as well as watermelon, are both good sources of potassium. In addition, watermelon is high in magnesium as is unpeeled cucumber which is also an excellent source of vitamin C. If you.suffer from the torture of leg or foot cramps, magnesium offers fabulous relief as does even just sips of tonic water.

    • MisterBill

I see $2.99 for the oranges.

      • Rocky

        Correct! I changed it, thanks!

  • Stephanie

Can i discuss the difference between Pearlmart and Saker? Or will my comments be banned to “subject to moderation”, as they have before?

    • Selma

      Huh?

      • Stephanie

Shoprites all have different owners. Saker is one. Perlmutter, also known as Perlmart, is another.

        • Selma

Oh, okay. And what is the issue with them/what stores do they own?

          • Stephanie

No issue, really. I just noticed that Saker prices are consistently higher than Perlmutter. They both own different locations.

    • MisterBill

Are you including links to their websites? That is what would cause the posts to be moderated.

      • Stephanie

No, but thanks for letting me know that, because I wasn’t aware of that.

  • anon

RE: Borden cheese single $1.99: besides the 50/1 dnd coupon I have a “my shoprite” e coupon for $1.50/2 buy 2 pay $0.98. check your e coupons. hth

    • anon

Correction buy 2 for $1.48. Sorry for the error.

  • Sherry Z

Hi, everyone. Is everyone experiencing significant snow? I think our EQs are stuck in traffic…

    • IK

      they are up on app

      • Sherry Z

Thank you! Not on mine, yet (

  • Sherry Z

I am skilled at speaking to myself…. So, three of my Super Coupons didn’t get credited today. And my wonderful store does not carry the Amope inserts or a few of the items I’d been looking forward to purchasing. My issue now is that due to the roads, I doubt I’ll be able to get there to prepare their newspapers at 7 AM which means I won’t be able to get newspapers which will spoil my week depending upon the offers… I have not looked closely at them in a few days.

I am superb at not interrupting myself.

    • Jasmin

What store do you shop at?

      • Sherry Z

        Mount Pocono
        Have you been there?

        • Jasmin

Have you gone to the Stroudsburg one? They have a lot of clearance ones

          • Sherry Z

I am hoping to get there on Monday. I wish Brodheadsville was easier to get to! How often do you go to Mount Pocono?

            • Jasmin

I’ve only been there a couple of times, the Stroudsburg one is so much closer. I wish Brodheadsville was a lot closer, they definitely have a better variety!

              • Sherry Z

If you are not close top Mount Pocono, there definitely is no reason to travel to it. Yuck!

                • Sherry Z

I moved here from nothern NJ…how I wish we have a Shop and Plop (haha) and of course Trader Joes and everything else… and ooooooh, Home Goods! and restaurants!

                  • Jasmin

I know what you mean, I did my undergrad in Mahwah and there were three different shoprites that were all open until 12am with a 5 mile radius, it was great. I definitely miss going ten minutes to anything haha.

                    • Sherry Z

One of my favorites had five different types of wagons, free valet parking, some products in their bakery in open Mahogany cabinetry like in the old general stores and someone playing a clavichord or a harp or a violinist in the area where you enjoy a Cappuccino… Here, my store does not have SRFH or self-check-out or stock probably half the products on sale each week. Of course, the prices in PA are substantially higher and the produce is quite dreadful. ( Where I lived, I had five large SRs equidistant to my house. I must say, however, that not all were friendly and, as I was not couponing then, I would guess they may have been difficult.

Brodheadsville is the. world’s largest ShopRite…. it is fun to go there. )

So, since you are also a post grad…. where I have, they built a big beautiful library with almost NO books and, when I tried to donate, they refused. I still use the NJ libraries and live in fear that they will discover that I have relocated. In this area of PA, people don’t/ can’t (?) read.

Nice to meet you. You are welcome to come for lunch. )

  • MisterBill

E-coupons are up. Don’t see anything thrilling at first glance. There’s a $1/2 Kikkoman panko bread crumbs e-coupon that goes with the coupon in today’s SS, but they’re $1.49, so not free.

    • Sherry Z

Hello, MisterBill. (I have to whisper your name of Dog Harry runs to get his talking MisterBill doll.)

    • MisterBill

Schick disposables e-coupons are back, but $3/1 and $5/2 this time. The $3/1 probably makes them free with a matching IP when they go on al for $5.99 but they’re regular price this week.

Muir Glen 50c/1 could make some tomato sauce ($1.45) free if the 50c/1 IP is still available.

Eight O’Clock Coffee Infusions $1.50 off. Not sure of the the price but this has been a good deal in the past.

      • Mike M.

Also matching IPs on CDC for the Eight o’Clock coffee, long exp 03/31/18.

    • Ash Patel

there is a .55/1 printable coupon on SS in 30033 zip if you use two with 1/2ec makes it free

      • MisterBill

Thanks.. I wonder if it doubles? Kikkoman coupons generally do not. Also, note it’s listed under brand name Panko.

        • mel18

          Double coupon checker says no.
