CVS Shopping Trip

HAVE YOU SEEN THE CRAZY DEALS AT CVS THIS WEEK?  Last week I said to myself “I think I’ll take a break next week”…..and then this happened!  A combination of nice CVS offers sent to my card and some generous Extra Care Bucks offers that were too good to pass up resulted in a shopping trip that only cost me $7.37….for over $97 worth of products!

I wanted to try the CVS cash card deal this week, just to see for myself how it worked.  And since Gillette and Venus razors were included, it was the perfect time because I received a wide variety of Venus CVS coupons this week!  Like an Extra Care Bucks offer, you need to reach $30 BEFORE ANY COUPONS are deducted.  The $10 actually prints out as an ECB on the receipt which you can trade in for the cash card.  I was in a hurry so I just left it and will use it as Extra Care Bucks on my next shopping trip.

Pay special attention to that Poparazzi nail kit deal.  Check your local store, this was an unadvertised deal again this week.  The nail kits are usually NOT included when the polish is on sale…but this time it is!  And, it produced a $3 ECB.  These are fun since my 10 year old daughter is JUST starting to get into nails.

The Caress Botanicals Shower Foam was not easy to find, but fortunately I have about 4 CVS stores within a 7-8 mile radius.  I love trying new products, and the best time to do it is when they’re FREE!  Even though the $1.50/1 printable is no longer available, if you have the insert coupon for this product you can still get them for FREE.

Dove Promises turned into a SWEET deal thanks to $1/1 peelies that were on the packaging in my store.  Then I remembered seeing a $1.50/1 Dove Promises Ibotta (limit 5)…..so for $0.50 ea. I added them to my cart!

Below is a list of what was purchased.  You can see the breakdown for each making it very easy for you to mix and match deals and know exactly how much each costs.

These are the CVS coupons used in this transaction:

  • $2.00 off Revlon Cosmetics CVS Instant Coupon from the ExtraCare Coupon Center (all shoppers, limit 1)
  • $3/$10 any Body Wash, Mix & Match CVS coupon (select shoppers)
  • $5/2 any Johnson’s Baby Product, CVS coupon (select shoppers)
  • $5/$15 any Venus Disposable Razors, CVS coupon (select shoppers)
  • $3.00 off NEW Venus Platinum razor, CVS coupon (select shoppers)
  • $4/$15 any cosmetics CVS coupon (select shoppers)

REMEMBER: Extra Care Bucks have an expiration date so you want to be sure and use them before they expire.  I am already planning how to use the ECBs I earned on this shopping trip for my next shopping trip!

Be sure to share your favorite deals this week as well. Happy Savings!
