Stop & Shop Gas Rewards

It’s that time again! Time to check out what deals we can score at Stop & Shop beginning Friday, 3/15 with their new gas reward offers! This week we have 2 gas reward promotions. We also have a Gift Card Promotion.

There are always many different deal ideas you can work with gas reward deals depending on what you want, need and have coupons for. For the “Buy 5 Get 300 Gas Rewards” offer the best deal I’m seeing is to Buy 5 Kid Cuisine Entrees or Dannon Greek Yogurt 4pks, priced at $2.00 each. Unfortunately, we do not currently have a coupon available for either of these products.
Assuming you do the deal exactly as outlined below scoring a full 20 gallons of gas you can score all 5 items for as low as $0.80 each! Great Deal!

For the Second Gas rewards section, We have a Buy 6 Get 500 Gas Rewards which is equal to $10.00 ($0.50 off per gallon, up to 20 gallons of gas).
The best deal we’re seeing is to pick up 4 of the Ajax Liquid Dish Detergents, priced at $2.00 each, and 2 of the Beech-Nut Baby Cereals priced at $3.00 each. While we don’t have any paper coupons for either of htese products, we do have a $2/2 Beech-Nut Cereals. Buy 2 of any variety, any size. (Various Stores), Ibotta Rebate, available.
Assuming you do this deal exactly as outlined, you can score all 6 Items For as low as $0.34 each! Additionally if you do not need or want the Baby Cereals, you can just pick up 6 of the Dish Detergent and score the same deal.

You can purchase $500 in gift cards and earn 3 times gas points on this purchase. You earn 1 point for each dollar you spend at Stop & Shop, so if you bought a $500 Gift Card during this promotion, you will earn 1,500 gas points, which is equivalent to $1.50 off a gallon of gas at participating Shell Gas Stations.
NOTE: *These deals require a Single $25.00 additional purchase. Also, you can only use a max of $1.50 off per gallon, the rest will remain on your account until they are used or expired.
You can fill up with UP TO 20 gallons of gas using your gas points. If you buy a $500 Visa Gift Card you will have earned $1.50 off of 20 gallons of gas, which is equivalent to $30.00 in savings. So to summarize, with 1,500 gas points (which you will earn for buying a $500 Visa gift card) you can get UP to $30.00 in FREE gas, assuming you can fill up with 20 gallons of gas.
You will then have to deduct the activation fee for the $500 Visa Gift Card which Stop & Shop will charge you, which ranges from $5.95-$8.95 depending on the value of the gift card. Assuming the activation fee is $5.95, this makes this deal a $24.05 Money Maker ($20.00 less the $5.95 activation fee).
I hope you followed this explanation, as I know gas points can be confusing. If you don’t follow, just ask and we will do our best to make it more clear for you! We call these gift card deals Money Makers because you can use the $500 Visa gift card just like cash – pay bills, get gas, groceries, etc. So you’re taking money you already have budgeted, transferring it onto a gift card and then using it just like you would have used it before – to pay bills, pay for your groceries, etc. except now you’ve got $24.05 in FREE gas. Easy, right!? I hope you think so too!
This deal works in any increment – doesn’t have to be a $500 gift card. You can buy $100 Visa Gift Card and earn 300 Gas Points ($0.30 off per gallon) and so on. You will just “make the most money” on buying the largest gift card amount, which in this case is $500.
As always with gas reward deals, there’s a bunch of different deal scenarios you can work depending on how many prints/coupons you have, however here are some deal ideas assuming you can fill up to 20 gallons of gas!
