It’s that time again! Time to check out what deals we can score at Stop & Shop beginning Friday, 04/05 with their new gas reward offers! This week we have 4 gas reward promotions. The first deal is Buy 4 participating products and earn 600 gas reward points, which is equal to $12.00 ($0.30 off per gallon, up to 20 gallons of gas).

There are always many different deal ideas you can work with gas reward deals depending on what you want, need and have coupons for. For the “Buy 6 Get 600 Gas Rewards” offer I’m seeing a combo deal. We’ll need to combo most of these items, because most if not all of the coupons available in this section are limit 1 per person!
So for this deal we’ll pick up 1 Bengay at $3.99, 2 Johnsons Baby Care Items at $4.00 each, and a Listerine at $5.00!

You earn 1 point for each dollar you spend at Stop & Shop, so if you bought $100 of these Cards during this promotion, you will earn 1000 gas points, which is equivalent to $1.00 off a gallon of gas at participating Shell Gas Stations.

You can fill up with UP TO 20 gallons of gas using your gas points. If you buy $100 in Gift Cards you will have earned $1.00 off of 20 gallons of gas, which is equivalent to $20.00 in savings. So to summarize, with 1000 gas points (which you will earn for buying $100 in participating products) you can get UP to $20.00 in FREE gas, assuming you can fill up with 20 gallons of gas.
These Gas Rewards deals are such a great way to rack up the savings at the pump, while saving on your grocery budget! Watching the bill drop on one of our biggest expenses has been amazing!
As always with gas reward deals, there’s a bunch of different deal scenarios you can work depending on how many prints/coupons you have, however here are some deal ideas assuming you can fill up to 20 gallons of gas!
For Our Forth and Final Gas Deal we have a 2x Master Card Gift Card Deal and it’s also running Through 4/11!
You can purchase $500 in gift cards and earn 2 times gas points on this purchase. You earn 1 point for each dollar you spend at Stop & Shop, so if you bought a $500 Gift Card during this promotion, you will earn 1,000 gas points, which is equivalent to $1.00 off a gallon of gas at participating Shell Gas Stations.
NOTE: *These deals require a Single $25.00 additional purchase. Also, you can only use a max of $1.50 off per gallon, the rest will remain on your account until they are used or expired.
You can fill up with UP TO 20 gallons of gas using your gas points. If you buy a $500 Mastercard vGift Card you will have earned $1.00 off of 20 gallons of gas, which is equivalent to $20.00 in savings. So to summarize, with 1,000 gas points (which you will earn for buying a $500 Mastercard gift card) you can get UP to $20.00 in FREE gas, assuming you can fill up with 20 gallons of gas.
You will then have to deduct the activation fee for the $500 Mastercard Gift Card which Stop & Shop will charge you, which ranges from $5.95-$8.95 depending on the value of the gift card. Assuming the activation fee is $5.95, this makes this deal a $14.05 Money Maker ($20.00 less the $5.95 activation fee).
I hope you followed this explanation, as I know gas points can be confusing. If you don’t follow, just ask and we will do our best to make it more clear for you! We call these gift card deals Money Makers because you can use the $500 Mastercard gift card just like cash – pay bills, get gas, groceries, etc. So you’re taking money you already have budgeted, transferring it onto a gift card and then using it just like you would have used it before – to pay bills, pay for your groceries, etc. except now you’ve got $14.05 in FREE gas. Easy, right!? I hope you think so too!
This deal works in any increment – doesn’t have to be a $500 gift card. You can buy $100 Mastercard Gift Card and earn 300 Gas Points ($0.30 off per gallon) and so on. You will just “make the most money” on buying the largest gift card amount, which in this case is $500.
