You read that right – Toys R Us has plans for store openings coming for the 2019 Holiday Season after a very sad store closing in 2018.
Toys R Us May Re-Open
Tru Kids Inc, CEO Richard Barry plans on opening about 6 stores in the US by the end of the year – including a new online store! It will be much smaller in size at about 10,000 square feet.
They will actually have play areas and experiences for kids – not just toys for sale!
Toys R Us is excited for the adventure of possibly reopening some stores in the US and trying out the online space – even with the competitive nature of the big dogs, Target, Walmart & Amazon!
We aren’t sure just yet when and where the stores will be opened – but we should know soon and we’ll let you know and give you ALL the details!
