Contigo Recalls Tons of Kid’s Water Bottles Due to Choking Hazard

Contingo is issuing a voluntary recall of the Contigo Kids Cleanable Water Bottle

Details of the Contigo Recall

Contigo accounted they will be recalling the Kids Cleanable Water Bottle Sold from April 2018 – February 7, 2020. They stated that the water bottles clear silicone spout may detach from the lid causing a choking hazard. No injuries have been reported.

These water bottles come in 3 sizes, 13oz, 14oz and 20oz and in multiple colors, materials and graphics. These were sold individually and in 3 packs.

The water bottles effected look like the image below. Spout cover is black and the base of the spout is black.

If your bottle does not have these features you are NOT affected by the recall.

What to Do About the Contigo Recall

Consumers who believe that they are in possession of any of the products affected by this recall should go to the Contigo Recall Page and enter their information to receive a return envelope to mail the affected lid back. Once they receive your lid you will get a replacement lid.
