Important Message for LRWC Readers!

To our all of our LRWC Readers,

As some of you may have noticed, we made the decision to no longer post individual in-store deals until these “Stay Home” requirements are lifted surrounding the COVID-19 virus. We have given this so much thought and felt that these type of  individual deal posts are encouraging people to “head to the store to score this deal”. Right now, this is not something we want to encourage as your health and safety are important to us.

Store Match Ups

While we know that, now more than ever, you still need to save, we are continuing to do full store match ups whenever possible. Please know that some stores are reducing their sale ads so we will work with whatever ads are available. We realize that, at this moment, it’s not as easy to find products you want and need and a lot of you are doing shopping much differently than you normally do. However, we still felt that you would still be able to use our match ups as a guide as to what is on sale. Please try to only use digital coupons at this time to make it quicker and easier for you to checkout making it safer for you and for the store employees.

These match ups can be used whether you are shopping in the store (be sure to practice social distancing) or having your groceries delivered (note that there are delays in delivery options).

More Online Deals

With these changes here on LRWC, we have also increased our online deals and changed our focus on the items we are posting. We are trying our hardest to find items that are top priorities for people such as laundry detergent, toilet paper and more. We are also trying to include shelf stable items and even items to keep the kiddos occupied like workbooks, markers, etc.

Going Forward

Over the last week, I have received so many messages from long time readers that are so grateful for having a great stockpile during this unprecedented time. Who would have thought that our toilet paper stockpiles would be like gold. As grateful as I am to all the messages, for me, it’s been an eye opener on how many people actually don’t stock up on anything. Trust me, I’m taking notes, and will be putting a big focus on the importance of the stockpile once we get on the other side of all this.

I’ll also be focusing more on the basics of cooking. Making your own broth, bread, how to read a recipe and much more.

And, of course, after this is all behind us, we will get back to business as usual including our, much loved, in-store deals.

But for right now, I want to share some of our important resources that can help you get through this time:

Stay safe & healthy,
