Cajun Remoulade Sauce Recipe

I made this Cajun Remoulade Sauce recipe a few days ago, kind of on a whim. It has a few things that I know my husband does not like but since its all blended together, the flavors combine so nicely it turns into a very delicious sauce for vegetables, seafood and salads. I made the sauce with the “normally ho-hum” salmon patties. The sauce turned them into something special!! Enjoy!

Remoulade Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion or 1 scallion
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika (preferrably smoked)
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • hot sauce to taste
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in food processor or blender and combine. Let chill for several hours or overnight to let flavors blend.
