This chicken dish has a nice creamy sauce with fresh mushrooms. You could probably substitute turkey cutlets if you’d like to change it up a bit. Its tasty dinner with noodles and a salad. Enjoy!
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- 6 boneless chicken breasts
- 3/4 tsp tarragon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 16 oz sour cream
- 1/4 cup parmesan or romano cheese
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
Put melted butter in 13x9 baking dish. Place chicken in dish and turn to coat with butter. Add tarrgon, salt and pepper. Bake at 375° for 40-45 mins.
Remove chicken from oven. In bowl combine sour cream and cheese. Stir in drippings from pan and mushrooms. Return chicken to baking dish and add sauce. Bake 10 mins more or until chicken is tender.
