Chocolate Lush Dessert Recipe | Cold Dessert

No complaints with this delicious recipe! I was given this recipe by my dear friend, Jeannie. She says people always come back for seconds. Give it a try, its made in layers. The first layer is baked, the rest of the layers go on after baking. Chill and serve cold. Enjoy!

Chocolate Lush

Ingredients
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cool whip
  • 2 packages chocolate instant pudding (any flavor works)
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups cool whip
  • cinnamon or cocoa for topping if desired
Instructions
  1. Blend flour, walnuts and shortening as a pie crust and press into a 9x13 baking dish. Bake 20 mins at 350°. Let cool.

  2. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and cool whip until smooth. Spread on crust.

  3. Mix instant pudding and milk for 2 minutes until thick. Pour over cream cheese layer.

  4. Top with cool whip. Sprinkle with cinnamon or cocoa if desired. Chill and serve cold.
