Ginger Lime Chicken Thighs Recipe

Here’s a quick and tasty chicken recipe to try.  It has a nice flavor of fresh ginger and lime.  You make it on the stovetop so you don’t have to worry about turning on a hot oven!  Enjoy

Ginger Lime Chicken Thighs

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 1/2 lbs chicken thighs, skin removed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 lime
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
  1. Combine flour and pepper in large baggie; one at a time, place thighs in bag to coat with flour.

  2. Heat oil in skillet and add thighs. Cook until brown on both sides. Reduce heat to low, add garlic and ginger. Cover and cook for 20 mins until chicken is cooked and tender.

  3. Grate peel from lime, set aside. Juice the lime and combine juice with honey and soy sauce. Pour in skillet, cook for 5 more mins. Garnish thighs with grated lime zest and serve.
