Ocean State Job Lot has some crazy deals and that is just what they call them. Crazy Deals are a great way to score some awesome deals. It’s actually a pretty simple process with just a few rules.
How do OSJL Crazy Deals work?
Crazy Deals are simple. You will find deals listed in their ad or online each week called Crazy Deals. You simply buy the item listed in the deal and they give you money back in the form of a Crazy Deal Gift Card. Some offers are as follows:
- “Buy a heater for $120 and get a $100 Crazy Deal Gift Card, free!”
- “Buy an AeroBed Air Mattress for $89.99, and get a $89.99 Crazy Deal Gift Card, free!”
There will also be signs in the store so you are store you are getting the correct items.
Please note that not all Crazy Deals are completely free. There are times where you get a portion of the price back in the gift card so be sure to read your signs and ads to be sure you understand the deal.
Crazy Deal Gift Card Rules:
Crazy Deal gift cards can be used like a regular Ocean State Job Lot gift card with these exceptions:
- Crazy Deal Gift Cards cannot be used until the following day.
- Crazy Deal Gift Cards cannot be used to receive additional Crazy Deal Gift Cards. You can use a Crazy Deal Gift card as a form of tender to purchase an item that is on Crazy Deals®, but you will not receive another Crazy Deal Gift Card.
- Crazy Deal Gift Cards cannot be used as a form of tender to purchase Insider Exclusive Deals®.
- Crazy Deal Gift Cards cannot be used as a form of tender to purchase Job Lot or 3rd Party Gift Cards.
- Crazy Deal Gift Cards cannot be used as a form of tender to purchase beer or wine.
- Crazy Deal Gift Cards cannot be used as a form of tender during our store wide annual promotions (Silver Salute, Operation Thank You, Anniversary Sales, etc.) Crazy Deal Gift Cards can be used to purchase items and categories that are reduced in price as part of a regular weekly promotion (advertised flyer items, coupons, etc.)
- Crazy Deal Gift Cards are non-refundable for cash. Crazy Deal Gift Cards are only redeemable for merchandise.
Besides that, it’s just like any other Job Lot Gift Card.
How to Crazy Deals show up on your receipt:
When you purchase a Crazy Deal, you will be charged for the price of the item, less an instant Crazy Deals® promotional discount. You will also be charged for the purchase of a Crazy Deal Gift Card equal to the promotional discount. Your net cost is the same, but our registers process the transaction this way in order to comply with state laws regarding promotional discounts and gift cards.
How to Return Items Purchased:
If for any reason you require a refund for the product, the unused Crazy Deals® product must be returned to get a full refund. If the Crazy Deal Gift Card has been used, the return value of your product will be less the price of the Crazy Deal Gift Card.
