Quick & Easy Salsa Recipe

Fresh salsa is downright delicious. Its hard to beat the convenience of the jarred salsas but homemade will always have it beat. It doesn’t take much to make your own fresh salsa. This recipe makes about a cup with 4 nice sized tomatoes. Enjoy!

Quick Salsa

Fresh salsa is downright delicious.  Its hard to beat the convenience of the jarred salsa but homemade will always have it beat.  It doesn't take much to make your own fresh salsa.  This recipe makes about a cup to 1 1/2 cups of salsa.

Ingredients
  • 4 ripe tomatoes, peeled and seeded (about 1 1/2 - 2 lbs) - chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh jalapeño pepper, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • juice of 1 lemon or lime
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • cilantro or parsley, to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in bowl. Let salsa sit for at least 1/2 hour so the flavors can blend.
