There is something about the combination of strawberries and rhubarb that is like no other! If you’ve never tried a strawberry rhubarb pie, now might be the time. Rhubarb has a slight tartness but the strawberries blend so well – the two flavors are dynamite together! Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you are set! You can use store bought crust for this pie, or use your own. Enjoy!
Mix flour and sugar together and combine 3/4 of it wiht the fruits.
Line 9-inch pie plate with bottom crust. Sprinkle remaining dry ingredients over the bottom. Add fruit mixture on top. Dot with butter. If desired, arrange pastry strips to form a lattice top crust.
Bake in 425 °oven for 10 mins. Then reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 mins. longer or until fruit is tender.
