Banana Chip Cake Recipe

I have a very easy recipe for you today, its sooo simple to put together. Everything gets mixed in the baking pan, no extra bowls or mixers.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 3/4 Cups Sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 bananas 2 mashed & one for serving
  • 6 tbl melted butter
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet chocoalte pieces
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. In an ungreased 8 x 8 baking pan mix flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  2. Add 2 mashed bananas, butter, water and vinegar to the dry ingredients; stir until combined. (the batter will be thick). Sprinkle chocolate pieces over top of batter
  3. Bake for 35 – 40 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Sprinkle cake with nuts. Cool in pan. Serve with sliced banana and drizzle with optional honey or maple syrup.
