ShopRite Matchups 1/16 – 1/22

All coupons $.99 and under are doubled in these match ups. If your ShopRite doubles differently, please adjust the final price accordingly. Also keep in mind that these coupon match ups are based on insert coupons found in the NJ, NY area. Other areas may have additional or different value coupons. Only the best value price coupons have been listed here. Make sure to check out the ShopRite Coupon Policy.

Do Not Double Coupons: All coupon match ups below are shown as doubled. Some coupons will state “Do Not Double” on the coupon. This is a YMMV situation.

Most Catalinas are based on the shelf price of the item when calculating the price. At ShopRite that is the price before the Price Plus discount. Please be sure to check your shelf prices as they may vary from the ones listed here. The deals shown are only suggestions to get you started. These deals have not been confirmed so you may want to check back in the comments to see if anyone has been successful doing them.

LiveRight ShopRite Brand: Buy $20 Get $10
ShopRite Brand Heath & Beauty Care Products
Note: There are a lot of products that are on sale, like the ShopRite Vitamins at 40% off, however the shelf price will only work with the Pre-Price Plus price and not a reduced price.  So, most likely, the ShopRite Vitamins will not work unless they are marked as a Price Plus reduction.  The following products are the products that are showing up as price plus sales.

UPDATE: I WOULD HOLD OFF ON THIS DEAL UNTIL WE CAN CONFIRM IT’S WORKING!

[%printable-list:shopritebrandcatalina116%]

Purina: Buy $30 Get $30 (week 3)

Catalinas will print as follows:

  • $5 Catalina Good for 1/23 – 1/29
  • $5 Catalina Good for 1/30 – 2/5
  • $5 Catalina Good for 2/6 – 2/12
  • $5 Catalina Good for 2/13 – 2/19
  • $5 Catalina Good for 2/20 – 2/2

I can’t find the 55 cent Hefty printable. Is there a certain zip code?

    • Anonymous

I have been able to find it either 🙁

  • Laurie

Does anyone know if the Ragu Catalina will print more than once? If I purchase 4 in one transaction will I get (2) $1 cats? If not, I will have to run them through on separate transcations.

    • Victoria

I have found that generally only 1 will print at a time. Best to be safe and do 2 transactions. HTH!

      • Laurie

I figured. Thanks so much for responding!

    • Anonymous

I purchase 6 ragu and I recieved 3 $1 off catalinas. All in same transaction

      • Kristine

        I purchased 4 and got 2-$1 Cats!

  • Siri

Thanks for posting this Saturday night! I do my Shop Rite trips Sunday mornings so this is helpful!

  • Candice

I cant find the tidy cats litter coupon? Is there a different zip code?

  • Jodi

I got a message that there are No more prints available for this campaign on the $4.00 smart ones coupon. Anyone else getting that message?

    • Michele

Yes, I got that same message. I was able to print the $2/8 Smart Ones coupon, though.

    • Debbie

I was able to print them today.

  • lynn

Looks likes a good week, thanks for the matchups!

    • stacey

Indeed!!!! I’m stoked about Shoprite! So MUCH stuff to give away and to keep too!

  • MillburnLaura

I found a 2.00 off 2 boxes of Rice Crispies I printed awhile ago from coupons.com..makes the Kelloggs deal even better

    • Leslie

The Nestle juice one didn’t print.

  • Jennifer K.

Thanks for this list! I am SERIOUSLY cherry-picking this week after stocking up the past two weeks. You will never know how much money you’ve saved my poor family! 😀 Thank you!!

  • Michele

I found a tidy cat coupon on their website. The SS seems to be gone.
There is a buy 20 get 5 friskies free from their newsletter too.

  • mandee

The beech nut is ONLY one per computer 🙁 very sad!!!!

    • Liz L

did you try going back to the link to the beech nut coupon again? I was able to send two to my printer.

      • Anonymous

        I did too.

    • Suzanne

The Shoprite ad also states that one can only buy 12 jars of Beechnut, that additional or lesser quantities would ring up at 52 cents each. So has anyone successfully purchased 20 jars in one transaction to use the $2.00 off / 20 printed coupon?

      • Cindy

You would have to buy in quantities of 12. And you can do the offer 4 times. So you can buy 12, 24, 36 or 48 and get them for the lower price. Anything amount in between will ring up at $0.52 each

        • Suzanne

AH! I missed the “4 offers” … thats what I get for not reading and re-reading carefully!
Wish I could print the baby coupons at work, but we have filters and are not permitted to download those little coupon applets. I have several colleagues with infants!

        • Leigh Ann

Cindy, quick question. I just went and bought 48 jars. I had 2 $2.00 off coupons and 2 $1.00 off coupons. I was able to print off more coupons from my other computer. Can I go back this week and pick up an additional 48 or am I restricted to 4 offers a week?

          Thanks!

          • Cindy

Yes you can get another 48 jars.

            • Suzanne

The listing of match-ups (above) indicates that if you purchase 24 jars of Beechnut, you can use 2 $2 off 20 coupons. How is that possible? Wouldn’t you need to purchase 40 jars to use the two coupons?

  • Bridget

Kozy shack is telling Me I have already printed??? Anyone else getting this?

    • cheryl manna

Same here, but I went to their Facebook page and found on their older posts a link to a $1.00 coupon that works. 🙂

      • Diane R

Do you remember how far back in the older posts that you went to find the coupon? I went back to October 26 and found a coupon link, but when I printed it out, it was $1.00 off the Kozy Schack CowRageous or SmartGels products, not for the Kozy Shack pudding that is on sale this week at SR. So I won’t be able to use that coupon. Did you find one for the tubs of pudding?

        • cheryl manna

Diane, I think it was posted around Xmas-New Year’s. One of the comments on facebook was about what the coupon could be used on and the manufacturer replied that the coupon could be used on all of their products, not just the gels, etc. I’ll be testing their theory tomorrow or Tuesday, hopefully it won’t be rejected at the register.

          • cheryl manna

More info from the last post, the Facebook posting was dated Dec. 8th for the coupon. It is a Smartsource printing.

  • Jason

Looks like a great week for donations!

Cindy, for the Poland Spring deal, you’d have to include the bottle deposits. It’s $3.00 bottle deposit if you buy 3 cases of 24 packs.

    • Emily T.

No bottle deposits in NJ. : )

      • Jason

        Oh lucky lucky you.

  • Liz L

I’m so with Cindy on this Couponing for a Cause mission!

Loyal readers without infants, what do you say? How many Beech-Nut Stage 2 jars can we work together to donate this week? I’m in for at least 1 set of twelve, maybe 2 b/c I have access to 4 computers (just have to remember to print from the others). I’d imagine we can feed a lot of babies this winter if we can each manage to part with 12c – 25c this week!! Keep in mind, with your 5c bag refund, it will cost even less. And, if you can only print 2 because you have access to just one computer, and don’t want to spend $1.12 out of pocket to make a donation of 12 jars, then consider getting the Beech Nut rice cereal for .29c instead (at a store that fully doubles). Just like this site has really made a difference for all of us, imagine what a difference we can make for so many others!

    • Lori G

My husband had to help me drag 12 stuffed grocery bags to our church’s pantry donation area yesterday…I shopped til I dropped with the last 2 weeks of can can sales. It is so great to be able to give so much without having to break the bank at home….I am going to load up on baby things this week also 🙂

    • Bree

      I’m game! 🙂

    • Kathy

I’m game too. Luckily there are alot of computers at work that I can use to print coupons. I even go to other offices in the building. Occassionally I will give co-workers and others freebies so they don’t mind me using their computers. I already figured out that I have access to 15 computers without any problem. My goal is 120 jars of beechnut and 30 boxes of cereal that I will donate. I don’t have little ones so I have no personal use for these items. And to make it an even better deal, I will earn baby bucks too. So everything will be free. I will go to many different stores so I don’t clean them out.

    • Jen

Just came back, and purchased this to donate!

      • Liz L

Glad to hear you’re all with me. I think we should all add to this post at the end of the week to record our tally of donated baby food/cereal. I’d be interested to see how far we can take this — with very little effort & out of pocket! Hopefully more of the readers of these comments will join us in our mission!

        • Liz L

I got my 1st set of 12 today.

          • George

Liz, I am with you, have already been purchasing.

            • Nancy

I got 24 jars to donate.

  • Kim M

Looking for the Hefty Printable and Super Pretzel but they are not coming up. Does anyone know if I need to enter a certain zip. Please let me know. Thanks.

  • Nancy

Hi Michele.. Which newsletter did the friskies coupon come from?

    Thanks,

    Nancy

  • MillburnLaura

Has anyone put together a price book for Shoprite? Im thinking its time for me to start trying to keep track of prices a little better. For example, Im trying to decide *which* store to buy Tide at this week…

    • Ashley B

      Great idea!

      • Mathew

i’m doing the same thing…trying to figure out where to get detergent this week…target SR or Costco. Costco has some good laundry coupons this month – $2.50 off gain, $2 off downy and $2.50 off tide. I usually buy ALL at shoprite for $11.99 but i’m going to see if gain or downy are cheaper at costco (tide is TOO expensive for me).

    • Arizia

This is a great idea! I just moved to DE and learning about my local stores and new to Shoprite and this website, which I LOVE. I was able to save 83 last week and this week almost 60!!! I’m sooo proud.. and with a family of 6 detergent sales are a must – Tide is a fav. so please let me know. thanks!

  • Nancy

sorry.. this is just a follow up comment.. i have found the buy 20 get 5 free friskies coupon link doing a google search.. but from what I can tell no one is able to print it 🙁 it tells me that I have already printed it the number of times allowed, but I never have.. I think the link is rememering the last user? From what I can tell it’s a purina newsletter but I can’t find anywhere to sign up for one on their website.

    • joan

To get coupies from Purina (e.g., Friskies buy 20 get 5), go to the Friskies.com website and join Explorers (upper right-hand corner). Company sent me (via e-mail) the coupon buy 20, get 5 and they graciously send me other coupons from time to time.

  • Rich

Did not find the SS scrubbing bubbles or windex coupons in the 1/9 that are .75 and .50. Maybe it was another week’s paper…

  • Mark

Does the $0.75/3 Goya Blue Label Premium Beans printable Double to $1.50 or $1.00 at ShopRite?

    Thanks!

    • Lisa

They doubled to $1.50 at my store in CT!

      • Amy

I did this deal a few weeks ago and one time the coupon doubled, the other time it didn’t. No rhyme or reason. I’ve had some trouble these past few weeks with Shop Rite and doubles.

        Good luck to you!

    • michelle F

Mark, depends on what SHOPRITE you go to, mine will only douple up to 1.00, others will go to a 1.50. Go to hotcouponworld.com fourms-store deals-shoprite–what stores fully double— you will find if your store will truly double .75censt

  • Claire

Hi Cindy, there is a $1/2 Trop 50 in the RP 1/2/11. It is on sale 2 for $5 so $2 each with coupon. Thanks!

  • Jason

Has anyone been able to find the Hefty IP?

  • Cassie

Anyone tried the SR brand cat yet? Is it definitely working on pre price plus prices?

    • Cindy

I am going to try it this afternoon.

    • sakin

yes. I did. Unfortunately did not work out for me. I bought 8 shoprite pads for $19.12(pre price plus) $7,92 and 1 shoprite implement $0,99(pre price plus) $0,49 Total:$20,11(pre price plus) paid $8,41 get just midas oil change coupon. Lol.. Can I call catalina marketig for this deal, too? Thank you.

      • Cindy

Hmm, I wonder why. The last time there was this deal, we had some issues with it printing as well. I would call catalina marketing and have them check into it. How did it show up on your receipt. Did it show the $2.39 price and take off for the price plus or did it just show the $0.99 price?

        • Cassie

Same here- did the exact same scenario and no cat. It shows up on the receipt as 2.39 then next line is -1.40 price plus. The nail implement rang up in the same fashion.

          • Julie

I went yesterday and bought 9 packages of pads (chose four different varieties) for $8.91 and got the $10 catalina. Thank you SO much, Cindy, for posting these deals!

      • andy

Yes, you can call or e-mail catalina. Tell them that you spent $20.11 on promotion Buy $20 shoprite HBA Get $10 oyno. Don’t bother to explain pre-plus card or post price plus card.

Please post which products did you buy exactly with UPCs if possible. Maybe one of them is not programmed to count for catalina, the implement maybe? which implement? and which pads exactly too?

If implement is a problem, then maybe 9 pads (3 diff varieties) would work for $8.91.

  • sakin

The receipt looks fine. All pads are $2,39 before and then $0,99
implement is $0.99 and then $0,49. I checked catalina machine before I shopped. It was working fine, too. Just did not print out. If I go to customer service I know what are they gonna say!!! I did not spend $20,00.

    • Cindy

Such a bummer. Okay, we’ll have to put this on hold until we figure it out. Thanks guys. Sorry about that.

      • andy

I don’t recall any issues last time we had this deal – it worked perfectly on vitamins, mouthwash, toothbrushes, etc.

        • andy

Also see my post 3 posts above if you missed it

        • Cindy

It wasn’t working on all the vitamins. The mouthwash and toothbrush were fine but all the vitamins weren’t working. It took a couple of days for us to figure out which ones worked and which ones didn’t. I imagine that will be the case this week as well.

          • andy

All the vitamins were working. What was not working was “human error” of multiple people trying to count vitamins at 40% off but without price plus savings at full regular price.

  • rachel

Just wanted to say that the U by Kotex worked for me. I paid about $5 out of pocket, then a $2 Cat printed while I was ringing up & another 1.50 Cat printed after I paid. Thanks Cindy!!

    • Cindy

Oh great. Thanks for the update

  • Kelly

Ragu worked, Kotex worked and special K free milk worked. Only one that did not work was shoprite but I am e-mailing catalina marketing.

    Thanks

  • Got my free Goya low sodium beans and also got the Ragu catalina. I’m pretty new at this so have a question – can I use multiple catalinas in one transaction? Like when I pay my bill can I use 2 (1 dollar) off catalinas?

    • elsee

in the past i have used up to 5 catalinas in one transaction without any problems(on that transaction i didn’t buy anything that would generate another catalina i’m always worried the cats might not “roll”) hope that helps

      • Tammy

I had a problem using my catelinas today..they wouldn’t let me use 2 $1.00 ones b/c they said that i could only use one b/c they were both from Ragu..is this Right does anyone know?

  • Tammy

Does anyone know if you can do the Ragu catlina more then once..ie buy 4 at one time? Also is the catilina for off you next purchase on anything or only on your next Ragu purchase?

    • The catalina is good on your purchase of anything. I only bought two on this trip, so I can’t help you on the other question – sorry!

    • Jason

Yes, if you buy 2, you get (2) $1 cats, 4 for (2) $1 cats, etc.

      • Julie

I bought 6 jars of Ragu and only got 1 $1 cat at my store (Morris Plains). 🙁

  • Tammy

Also in my SS they had $1.00 coupon for the Dole Fruit Crisp..just to let ppl. know there are higher value ones out there..I live in philly if ppl. are wondering where i found it..

  • kristen

Also any1 wanting to stock up on ragu, go to ebay they have RAGU coupons .50/1 so free OOP the $1 MM when you buy 2

    • Laurie

I just bought a lot of 20 on Friday for like $3 or something. I need to stock up on this sauce.

      • Kelly

have you tried to use these at Shoprite? they say valid only at Fiesta, so just wondering.

        • Cortney

I was wondering the same thing. I was not sure about buying them from ebay. If you had success maybe I will try

      • Bernell

        Laurie,
Did those ragu coupons work for you. I’m about to purchase some….I figure if they don’t work! I’ll just re-sell them! LOL

  • MillburnLaura

I tried to get the Kikkoman catalina posted previously, and it did not print. I bought Ponzu and teriyaki. Anyone try this deal?

  • MillburnLaura

So my goal each week is to spent $5.00 for my local food bank. It seems like I will have to work hard this week, since here was my first run.

    Maypo oatmeal 1.59 -.55(doubled)=.49
Did this twice, so .98 oop
Texas Toast croutons 1.00 -.55 (only doubled to .99)=.01
Did this twice, so .02 oop
    Buy 9 ShopRite Maxi Pads ($2.39) $0.99

So Ive spent nothing so far. Im waiting for my peanut butter coupons to come in the mail and will probably use $4.00 on 8 jars. Will do the Shoprite maxi pads deal again when I go later in the week.

  • Anna

Can someone tell me how to stack coupons?. Can I stack catalina with printable coupon?. I was trying to do this last time in Shop Rite and they told me I can’t do that.

    • Aileen

You could only use them together if it’s something like $2 off your next order. If a catalina printed for $1 off Coffeemate creamer (for example), that would be a manufacturer’s coupon and couldn’t be used with another manufacturer’s coupon for the same item.

  • Liz L

    A few notes…

    1) my international delight coupons didn’t scan — 3 of the 4 were doubled manually (not sure why the 4th only came up at 55c off).
    2) the goya beans coupon I used was 75/3 — so I bought 12 and used 4 coupons. Oddly, only 3 doubled (and did so this way: 75c, 57c or $1.32 which was the pre-price plus price for a set of 2) The 4th didn’t come off at all. I’m taking back 4 cans of the beans now as a result — because the limit was evidently stated as 4 (which evidently met 4 pairs of beans at 2/$1 each). The remaining 4 rang up at 66c each and no coupon came off at all and I found myself paying $2.64 for the beans in addition to $1 for a set that didn’t have the coupon come off. 3) the beech-nut baby food coupons didn’t scan for me either – so all 3 were input manually at $1 each.

    • Lynn

My beech nut coupons didn’t scan for me yesterday either. The cashier said that they generated an error message stated “exceeded limit” or something like that. I had the $1 off 3 items Qs and none of them worked. I definitely had 12 jars and the correct # of Qs. My SR also rejected my BOGO Special K coupons. They are no longer accepting any internet BOGO Qs. Bummer!

      • Lori

OH NO! I was planning on using my BOGO minute maid oj coupons at Shoprite. Do you think Shoprite will be posting an updated policy soon? Also, can anyone confirm any other stores that DO NOT accept the printable BOGO q’s? I also have a coupon for a free half gallons of choc milk when you buy 1 gallon. I ‘m assuming Shoprite will not take those either. 🙁

        • Lori

I know Acme has the same policy – no BOGO printables.

          • Cortney

WHich Shop Rite was not taking the BOGO’s?

            • Lynn

              ShopRite of Warminster PA

      • Megan

I ran into this “exceeded limit” coupon last week with the LaYogurt (not a printable – but it seems like it’s the same reason in this case). The cashier told me that the coupon tries to link itself to one item and that the cost of the coupon is more than one of the items (ex: 1 yogurt cup was 0.29 and coupon was $1 off). The manager had to manually override, but they told me that this happens with some items and it’s just a glitch in the system. They should be able to override it. I would go to customer service and speak to someone else if the cashier doesn’t help you. HTH

  • Laurie L

i found away that you can print 2 each of the beachnut coupons. click on the links above once, then print. when the coupon has printed, close the entire web page (just x out) and then log back into the web page manually (don’t use the history bar) and click on the link again and print. worked on all 4 of the links for me:)

  • Laurie L

just read what I wrote and wanted to clarify the website. (i am so tired sorry). close both the beachnut and living rich with coupons sites, then log back into living rich with coupons and click the link.

  • Bernell

Does anyone know the limit for the ragu catalina?
    Thanks

    • Jason

There is none. Buy 2, get (1) $1 cat, buy 20 get (10) $1 cats.

      • Bernell

        thanks!!

      • Nancy J

This is a great deal!! Does that mean 10 separate transactions? If so, is there a limit on how many per day to get the cats?

  • andy

It is WRONG to use Ragu coupons at Shoprite if those coupons say valid ONLY at Fiesta (which is a supermarket chain in Texas). Shoprite would not be reimbursed for those coupons and would clamp down on good coupons as a result. Do you understand this people displaying cavalier attitude towards those coupons?

So, don’t even buy those coupons from ebay and if you bought them and this “valid ONLY at Fiesta” was not disclosed in the listing then RETURN them to seller and ask for a refund.

We are lucky to have so many good deals with legitimate coupons, we don’t need to use wrong coupons for which store won’t be reimbursed

    • Laurie

interesting. I am waiting for my ebay purchase any day. If they say that, I will have to return them. Bummer.

I agree you should only use coupons for the product intended and follow everything stated on the coupon for proper usage, However that being said, I do not believe that most people are being Cavalier, I think they just do not know, There are exceptions of course and some people do abuse the system, these are the people who ruin it for the rest of us, I do not think that the people on this blog are intentionally doing anything wrong. There are also many coupons which state that they are good at Target etc. etc., but if they are a manufacturers coupon, they are good anywhere, not just at Target. Believe it or not very few coupons are sorted by clearing houses, Stores are paid back by the pounds of coupons in a bundle, not by the face values of the coupons

Nivea cream is on sale for $3.74 this week. I have $2.00/1 and $2.50/2 body cream coupons from about two weeks ago.

  • Kathy

While shopping for the SR brand maxi pads, I came across a tag that said “Buy any 2 participating Kotex products and receive $2 off next shopping trip.” The tag had pictures of the regular Kotex products which are on sale this week for $2.29. This explains why the $2 cat was printing for the U by Kotex pads which were also producing a $1.50 cat for buying two U by Kotex products. There is a $2/2 Q from the SS 1/16/11 insert that can be used on two kotex pads. Here is what I came up with.

    Buy:
    (2) Kotex Pads @$2.29 each = $4.58
    Use: $2/2 Q from ss 1/16/11 insert
    Pay: $2.58 OOP
    Receive: $2.00 catalina
    Total: $0.58 or $0.29 each!

  • andy

Is 2.29 the cheapest Kotex or are there cheaper things? 1.49 liners?

    • Kathy

      Liners are also $2.29

  • p

how did you get the french’s mustard coupon? i signed up on the website and clicked the coupon tab but cant seem to find it. Thanks

  • Kim

I tried the 4$/10 smartones coupon earlier this week and it said out of prints. I went onto a different bloggers website today and they were available again! Just wanted to give everyone a heads up!

  • Maria D.

Hi:Not sure if anyone else brought this up. I didn’t notice when reading through the comments. If you are a Vocal point member, you may have received a $3.00 coupon off Kashi Go Lean Cereal. In my circular (Northern Westchester, New York) the 15 oz box is on sale for $2.99 making the item free.
    I hope this was helpful.

    • Patti M

🙁 my store doesn’t have the “crispi” yet.

  • Dee

Hi. I bought 2 Ragu sauce @ 0.99 and 9 shoprite maxi pads but didn’t get any catalinas. What do I do?

    • Brandon

      Per Cindy:

My catalina did not print. What do I do?
If you catalina did not print there are 2 ways to handle it.

      1. If the deal is listed in your circular or on a shelf tag, in most cases you can go directly to customer service.

      2. If this is not a catalina deal that is in the circular then you will need to call or email Catalina Marketing company. There contact info is: 1-888-826-8766 or via email ncsc@catalinamarketing.com.

YOu posted that there is a coupon for Swiss Miss hot chocolate in ALL YOU JAN ’11 and also for Peter Pan Peanut Better in the same issue. I combed through my issue of ALL YOU and did not find either of those coupons.

    • Laurie M.

For the peanut butter, I know it was said that the magazines that you actually buy in Walmart had the coupon but not if you get it through subscription. I didn’t have the coupon either. Maybe it’s the same with Swiss Miss?

      • Karen

Yes, it is the same. There was a thicker paper ConAgra Foods insert in the middle of the store bought magazine with the Swiss Miss and Peter Pan coupons, as well as tons of others. I’ve since canceled my subscription and just pick up the magazine every month cause it’s more than worth it.

  • MillburnLaura

I went back to today to get another 12 jars of baby food. However, the discount for buying 12 was not taken off my receipt. Is there some reason this deal only rings up once per PriceClub card? Or I wonder if I bought some variety that didnt count in the 12? What a pain–will have to take back to customer service I think.

On a better note, my best deal this week was 4 bottles of Complete Eye Care. Im out of my free bottles from CVS. Its BOGO at 7.99 and I was able to use $1 off coupon on each. So it turned out to be 3.00 a bottle, which is a great stockup price.

    • Victoria

You do have to be careful with the beechnut. Any of the ones that have the DHA are never included in this type of sale. Sometimes even some flavors are not included. With them being stacked so close together, it is very easy to grab the wrong ones. I did this deal 3 times and it scanned the sale price all 3 times….I have learned to scrutinze, lol!! HTH!

  • Kathy

The $1/1 Q for the Poland Spring water will not work on the 24 pack that is on sale this week. The Q is for the 8oz 24 pack and the sale is for the 16.9oz 24 pack.

  • Patti M

Couple of things to note from my SR trip this week:

    1. I forget if we cyber-talked about this already but the South Beach Bars are on sale 2/$5. A few weeks ago there was a $2 internet Q available….paired with the sale this makes a sweet deal.

    2. I tried to use a Fresh Express salad Q I found on coupons.com but it was not accepted. A rarity for my regular SR. The bar code and the written info part in the middle looked really different from any other Q I print from coupons.com plus it did not have “mfr Q” written anywhere on it so I checked at the desk before I went to check out. The guy tried to scan it and said it was coming up as some kind of shopping card and not a coupon so they did not accept it. A little disappointing since it was a $2 Q but whatever…in the long run I win with my Qs 99% of the time at this SR.

    3. Just to note, I used 14 coupons today, vast majority internet print, and there was no scrutinizing them at checkout as some have reported.

    • Patti M

Ahhh, I knew there was one more thing…

I used the Renuzit Cone Buy3Get3Free insert Q. It took $3 off the order not $2.37 which it would be at the sale price! 🙂

  • sindy serna

Hi, im new to using coupons in shoprite
can anyone explain to me the cellfire coupons
can i use them more than once in one transaction
for example if i buy 2 progresso soups would my cellfire coupon ring twice?
    thank you

    • Aileen

It will only come off for one item even if you buy more than that.

      • sindy serna

        thank you aileen

  • morgan

I don’t know if anyone has posted this yet, but this week Atheno’s hummus is on sale for $1.49. If you”like” them on facebook you can get a $2 off any 2 products making them 49 cents each!

    • Lynn

I did the same deal — great price!

  • Anyi

    SIMILAC ADVANCE 1QT FREEEEEEEEEEE

    5 SIMILAC FOR 20.00
    4 COUPONS FOR $5.00 RP 12/5
    PAY $0

SORRY MY ENGLISH IS BAD I SPEEK SPANISH
    GOD BLESS YOU

    • Lynn

Thank Anyi for the post. My 12/5 RP Qs say “limit one transaction”. Has anyone tried to buy 5 Similac and use more than 1 coupon? The printable coupons ($3/1) also state the same limit.

      • Lynn

Meant to say “Thanks” Anyi… sorry for the typo!

        • Lynn

I tried the Similac deal and got it to work BUT I went to customer service first and asked them to approve the use of my coupons. I had three $5/1 quart Similac (as Anyi mentions above) and one $3/1 printable coupon. I bought 5 quarts of similac on sale for $19.99 (must buy 5) and used the 4 coupons, which deducted $18.00. So I got 5 quarts for 1.99…. which are going straight to my local food back along with the beech nut baby food I got earlier this week. When checking out, the front end manager had to overide the coupons, but it worked. Hope some of you can do the same at your local store! It’s a great deal for formula!

          • Tammy

Has anyone tried the deal in the philly area..I looked in my circular and haven’t seen it on sale..I”m just wondering if it’s an unadvertised sale..

          • Kathy

            Lynn,

My coupons say they are for the concentrate. Do you know if that is what is on sale or are the coupons working the ready to feed? Thanks

            • kristen

The coupons have been working on the ready to feed. I asked at my store and they said this is an on going sale, til when I do not know.

              • Kathy

Thanks Kristen for your quick response. I am going this afternoon and just wanted to know if they would work.

  • Tammy

just got back from shop rite..Does anyone know if you can use 2 catelinas from the same company at checkout? I bought 4 of the Ragu, which printed out the 2 $1.00 catelinas good off your next order, then my brother was chekcing out after me and gave him the catelinas to use on his order and they wouldn’t let him use the 2, they only let him use the one and they said that you can’t use two from the same company..anyone know if this is true????

    • Aileen

Both catalinas you used have the same bar code (because they came from the same deal), so they may be limiting you to one based on the bar code.

      • Kirstine

I was at a SR today and helped the lady infront of me with 8 ragu – had her split it into 2 orders since they were ringing up over. She was able to use the 2 catalinas on the 2nd order and paid for the extra 4 ragu – I believe the total came to $1.98.

    • Diane R

I went to SR today and used 3 of the Ragu cats on my order. The cashier took them no problem, and they all scanned just fine. So there’s really no reason why you weren’t able to use your 2.

      • Tammy

Ah ok, i think the cashier was just p’oed b/c i was the last customer of her shift and she wanted to go, and some of my coupons didn’t want to ring up..the beach nut ones and the french’s ones..at least now i know for next time..

    • Jason

They obviously don’t know their own policy..

  • Cortney

Just got back from a quick Shop Run where i noticed the Nivea lotion is on sale for 3.74 (more then 1/2 off). There was a coupon 2 weeks ago (I think smart source) for$5 off 2 making them $1.24ea. I will be using these in a Tricky Tray basket I am donating to a local school call “Medicine Cabinet”

  • Anna

I went to Shop Rite yesterday and I think I had a good trip. (Sorry that I can’t post the picture but I am writing this at work:)) . I have to say that my friends and family are amazed with how much money I save each month and how many things I get for free. I usually go shopping with my friend, I have more in the cart than she does and I always pay pennies compared to what she is paying. Yesterday she said “enough”. We went to Walmart, bought a printer, printed the first few coupons and she saved the first $14. She also got 2 coffee creamers. 10 cans of goya beans and 2 boxes of Tornado for free. Starting next week my sisters are going to start clipping coupons. I laugh that I think I am already addicted to coupons. It used to be that the first thing I did when I went on the internet was to go to facebook. Now I first go to LRWC. Here is my yesterday’s trip:
    – 10 cans of Goya beans ($5.00)
    – 4 bottles of French’s mustard ($3.96)
    – Dole fruit bites ($1.66)
    – 2 jars of Ragu past ($1.98)
    – Cottonelle toilet paper ($4.99)
    – Scott paper towel ($5.99)
    – 5 Kozy shack rice puddings ($7.45)
    – 6 International Delight coffee creamers ($5.94)
    – 3 boxes of Tornados ($4.47)
    – 10 boxes of Smart Ones ($9.90)

    Coupons used:
    – $2 Shop Rite rewards
    – $4 smart ones coupon
    – (6) $0.55 coffee creamer coupons
    – (2) $0.75 Goya coupons
    – (2) $0.60 Goya coupons
    – (4) $0.50 French’s coupons
    – $1 Scott coupon
    – (3) $0.75 Tornados coupons
    – (6) 0.75 rice pudding coupons
    – $1 Dole fruit coupon
Total before taxes $51.34. After coupons $19.57. I also got $2 cottonelle and scott catalina and $1 Ragu catalina.
This week I will stop by Shop Rite again to get more goya beans. Next week I will cook bean soup with Butterball turkey kielbasa which I bought for $1 last week.
Today I will go to Pathmark to get free Poland Spring water for my son and free Green Giant vegetables. Also I will buy 2 pack of eggs (with coupon only $0.90 for both) and also I will get Smart Balance milk (with coupon $1.49).

    • Lori

Love that story… “Enough already!” HaHa. I had to laugh when I read that. Isn’t it great that we can all say… “How can people pay so much?” LRWC rocks! 🙂

  • Maria

If you need scotch brite scrub sponges, it is priced at $1.99 this week at SR and there are tear pads (at my store, coupons located at the shelf where the scotch brite are) for $0.50 making it $0.99 for a 3-pack scotch brite scrub sponge.
although the coupon states DND, it was still doubled.

  • Jessica

I have a question about the tax. I was recording my reciept in my savings tracker and I noticed under tax it said -.24. I added everything up and sure enough it took .24 off my total order. Any ideas on why? I’m in CT and I bought all food and didn’t think anything was taxable .

  • sarah

Jessica I aso live i CT, and I think there is a tax on prepared food….maybe something you bought fits into that catagory hth 🙂

    • Jessica

The weird thing is that it subtracting tax, not charging me tax. I checked the reciept and none the items have a T after it which is what I thought meant it was taxed.

  • Diane R

I went to SR today and got a Catalina that I wasn’t expecting! I haven’t seen this one posted yet (or maybe I just missed it if it was posted). It’s for 9 Lives canned cat food. The cat deal runs from 1/10/11 – 1/30/11, but the 9 Lives is probably only on sale this week. The 4 pack is on sale this week for only 99 cents. The cat reads:
    Buy 2 four-packs Get $1.00 OYNO
    Buy 3 four-packs Get $1.50 OYNO
    Buy 4 four-packs Get $2.00 OYNO

    I was buying 3 four packs using a $1/3 cpn (RP 12/12/10 exp. 2/5/11)
    So I paid $2.97 – $1.00 cpn = $1.97
I got back a $1.50 Cat, so I ended up paying only 47 cents for 12 cans of cat food – only 4 cents a can!!

Even though I didn’t have any more coupons, I went back and bought 4 more four-packs. Paid $3.96, got a $2 Cat back. So each of those 4 packs only cost 49 cents (12 cents a can). The stray kitties I feed each evening are gonna be so happy!!

  • Theresa

There are no prints for the juicy juice left…

  • Anonymous

Shoprite wouldn’t take my Kozy Shack q’s or my French’s mustard q’s. They said they are fraudulent because they didn’t have the website they were printed from on the coupon. Does this make sense?

    • Anna

My shop rite in Monroe,NY also gives me problems with these coupons. Lately I have been shopping in Lodi, NJ and I don’t have any problems there.
