Please be sure to check your shelf prices as they may vary from the ones listed here. The deals shown are only suggestions to get you started. These deals have not been confirmed so you may want to check back in the comments to see if anyone has been successful doing them.

the wet ones coupon says thank you for printing but will not allow you to print

    • Cindy

Its a pop up. I you have your pop up windows blocked it might prevent it from printing.

    • Kelly

As you hit submit for the wet ones coupon hold down the control key. It should allow the coupon window to pop up.

  • Diane K

it works, my pop ups were blocked for some reason!

  • Patti M

BIG WOOT!!!! for the chobani sale! It hasn’t been a dollar in FOREVER!!! Hoping for long expiration dates! LOL!

  • Tricia

Cindy, do you know why I can’t find the Cheerios coupons via the boxtop4education website? My only choices are for Pillsbury products. I am thinking this may have been a coupon I should have printed earlier. I was just curious. Thanks!

    • Cindy

It might be gone. I was going through all the coupons but I might have missed that one.

  • Ueen

Kleenex cat until 2/19. Buy 5 get $1 cat

    • Cindy

Ah, thanks Ueen. I was checking to see if it was buy 4 and get $1 or buy 5 and get $1.

  • Paulette

    Hello,

Thanks for doing all this work!

Is anyone else having trouble with the Old El Paso link? The page that opens for me says “Bad Request” in the upper left hand corner.

    Thanks!

  • Kathy C

Ican’t seem to find the $1 off ar-S hot dogs. I don’t see that coupon listed when I click on the link.

    • Laurie M.

It’s gone. It was a coupon on their Facebook page.

    • Paulette

I don’t see that one either Kathy.

  • Melissa B.

Hey, If you are in South Jersey we have Super Coupons on a Flyer that came in the ad mailer. It has the soda for an even better deal. 4 for 8.88 plus the two bags of Doritos or tositos. In my experience they have thse coupons at the store too. But that is always a YMMV. I know North Jersey doesn’t usually get these or the same type of coupons so sorry if it doesn’t pertain to you!

    • Karen

Thanks for the heads up! I have a store not too far south of me that I don’t usually go to (cause they only double coupons up to $1 instead of fully doubling) but I noticed they’ve had the coupons you are talking about and they are always such good deals!

      • Karen

Do you think you could also list the rest of the coupons real quick if you can? I would love to know what else they have!

        • Karen

Nevermind, I picked up 4 flyers today 🙂 Some AWESOME coupons btw!

  • Stephanie

Hi ladies! im just starting this whole coupon gig and im starting to get thr hang of it. I have all 3 coupons for the Hillshire farms sausage, but having a hard time figuring out how to get them for 1.49 each. Can anyone please explain this system to me. I look at it as buying 2 packs for 6 dollars and I thought you could only use one of those 3 coupons. I think Im missing how this coupon thing works. lol
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    • Karen

If you have the $.75/1 coupon then it would double up to $1.50/1 with your Price Plus card making it $1.49. Also, you can use one coupon per item purchased. So if you are buying 3 Hillshire Farms sausages and have 3 $.75/1 coupons, you can use those three coupons, one for each package. Side note: ShopRite has a policy of a limit of 4 of the same coupons per order, which is usually fine because they’re sale prices are almost always limit of 4 anyway.

    • Melissa

Her shoprite will double coupons that are $.99 and under. If using the $.75/1 coupon, this would double to $1.50, taking the price down to $1.49. I live in Northern Maryland and our Shoprite only doubles to $1.00, so if I were to use the same coupon, I could get it for $1.99. Hope this helps! Have fun shopping! 🙂

    • elsee

some shoprites fully double coupon so say your coupon says .75 off in reality it takes of .75 x2=$1.50 this is the case for the hillshire. You should find out if any of the shoprites near you fully double or even just double up to $1 (for example the same coupon as before but the would only give you an extra .25 to make it $1 off) hope this helps and happy shopping!

      • Stephanie

Ahh haa I get it!! thanks so much ladies. MY SR only doubles to 1 dollar so I guess thats why I could not figure out the final price according to this list.
Going shopping now!! Its gonna be a great trip, lots of good deals. Im so hooked on coupons! lol

  • jannine

if u have a cat hris week they have 3 bags of tidy cat liter 20lb bag sale for 3 for 10. now if you spent the 30 on friskies cat food you get 5 a week to spend plus in the paper their is suppose to be 1.50 off so you can get the 3 bags for .50.

  • Jenni

The crest pro health rinse is listed at $4.99 in my circular with a bubble off to the side saying “look for $2 coupons in this Sunday’s paper” so I don’t think the sale price is 2.99, it’s 2.99 after the $2 coupon.

    • Cindy

Oops, you are right. Not sure what I was thinking there. Thanks for the heads up. I corrected it.

  • crystal

Don’t forget to use your $5off from the entertainment book it starts January 31st!!

  • Natalia

The coupon for the Dove Cream Oil Body Lotion is no longer available at that link

  • Natalia

Ladies, don’t forget about the $1 coupon on Poland’s Spring’s Facebook page. I successfully used this coupon on this deal last week, and will do so again this week.

    • Cindy

The coupon on Facebook is for the smaller size bottles.

      • Natalia

The Poland Spring’s coupon on my Facebook account states that it can be applied to 8 0z 12 or 24 pack, 8 0z with fluoride 12 or 24 pack or the Aquapods. I’ve been buying the 8 oz 24 packs and the coupon has been working for me.

  • Glen

The $1/1 is still printing from the poland spring website. I assume this will still work and make the deal for the 4x cat even better.

    • Cindy

The coupon is for the 8 oz bottles. This is the 16.9 oz bottles.

      • Eileen

when the 16.9oz 24pks were on sale 3 for $10, i used that coupon, and even tho it said 8 oz it went thru

  • There’s a .35 coupon and a .50 coupon on different pillsbury boxed cake, it says for sugar free but It scanned on my non-sugar free items, (free cake and brownie mix) 🙂 except I paid .30 for one of them, since I was just checking to see if it would scan or not i used 1 of the .35 and 1 of the .50 🙂 the coupon on redplum (77477)

  • Glen

The Grands coupon is also printing as $1/2 making the Grands biscuits deal even better @ 49 cents each

    • Glen

this is direct from the pillsbury website

  • Melissa

    -free after coupons and catalina

  • Peg

I tried to use the Penn Dutch coupons for the egg noodles yesterday in the SR in Bound Brook and the manager came up and told me they were copies. I was so mad, asking if they were calling me a liar. Something about there needs to be a website on the coupon. I told them this was printed directly from the Penn Dutch website, but they still refused to take them. No noodles for me!

    • Michele

Hi. I too tried to use the noodle coupon and was told there needed to be a website. I told them i got it from the penn dutch site and they said just to bring in the full page when i printed it. I was apologized to and the cashier cancelled the noodles with no problem.

      • Kristine

Normally that is what happens for me. I grabbed one today just to try it…went to a cashier that was a young kid and he didn’t even look at the coupon and just put it through. Wish I had printed 3 more, I’m pretty sure most cashiers won’t take it…

        • Julie

oh my goodness!!! i printed out 8 and got all 8 bags of noodles!

          • Katy

I had no problems last week with this either….got 4 bags.

            • esco

17 bags free over that last 2 weeks..no issues at all

              • Mars

I was not allowed to use the PA Dutch coupons at either the Washington Township or Williamstown ShopRites (in NJ). Too bad, b/c they are my husband’s favorite noodles. Does anyone know of any SRs in southern NJ that actually double above .99? I haven’t been able to find one yet.

                • Paulette

I was able to use them at the Newburgh, NY SR. I will be going back this week for more to give to the Food Bank. I used (2) $.55/1 and (2) $1/1. The $1/1 beeped, but the cashier put it through. 🙂

                  • Cindy

It looks like it’s now gone.

                    • May

I had the same problem with some SR locations. One cashier did not even know what they were and called her manager. And her manager asked me “Where did you get them?” I said, “their website.” She said, “these are coupies. We can only take one.” I was in a hurry so I said “fine.” I only got one bag.

I was very upset and I went to the other SR which was 8 miles down the road. The cashier did the same thing and his manager came over and said “if they go thru, we take.” So I got 4 bags of noodles.

I think that it depends on the location and who is on duty (management wise.)

I think that I would go to the SR that is far down from my house from now on. 🙂

                • Larrina

The Williamstown Shoprite is super strict on coupon usage (my mom shops there) but my Shoprite is about 15-20 minutes away and they are very coupon friendly. This one is located on Chews landing Road in Laurel Springs by the Gloucester Twp Police station.

                • Mike

Mars, I go to the Shoprite in Williamstown and I used 7 of those coupons without a problem. Also, the Acme on Crooskeys is the only store I know around us that doubles up to $1.98 I think.

    • Eileen

just go back with one full page printout it shows the address at the top

had no problems even without that at the waretown, nj store they didnt ask

      • Eileen

and i got 16 bags seperated into two orders of 8 on one day and then another day 19 bags in 3 orders

        • jamie

I was able to get mine last week although the kid did call over the manager which made me feel like a criminal. I pulled out my trusty iphone, logged in and showed them the coupon, they then let me use the two I had. I intended on getting more this week but not if they are going to give me problems again.

    • Jenny

I could not use my coupons either. I know the front end manager and she wanted to keep one of my coupons to check it out herself. She gave me a 1.00 off coupon for Shoprite for taking my coupon. I don’t know if they will accept them this week, but I will try again.

  • PK

Just got back from Shoprite in Delaware. (4) Bailey’s creamers, (2) Penn Noodles), (2) French’s mustard, and a loaf of bread. minus (4) $1.00 bailey’s coupons, (2) $.55 Penn Noodle coupons (NO PROBLEMS), raincheck for mustard at .69 each and (2) $.50 coupons and a $2.00 family reward…….total out of pocket $.99. And I still have a $2.00 cat from last week. Nice!

    • Arizia

Hi, I live in DE too, which SR did you go to?

      • PK

Stanton – but always use self checkout. coupons usually scan without assistance and there is one manager (Jackie) and one self-checkout supervisor (John) who are awesome! The rest I am not impressed with and have had arguments on the floor about some coupons.

        • Ashley

I go to this one, as well! 🙂

          • Arizia

I just went to SR and it was great! Self checkout is a much better option, all coupons went thru without any issues and when I did need help, John came by with a smile. This is so much better than some grumpy cashier. Thanks for the idea, I wouldn’t have done it without your post 🙂

  • Susan

The Penn Dutch coupons worked for me last week. I did’nt cut out the whole coupon, left the web address at the top of the page just to be sure. I used a total of three coupons. Here is a nice recipe we are trying tonight with the pork, oranges and egg noddles I got last week.
    http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/citrus_pork_with_egg_noodles/
Thank you all for your help with saving at Shoprite!

  • Lisa

The Clairol Natural Instincts catalina deal is even better than reported! I went to Shoprite this morning in CT and I bought 2 boxes. They rang up for $15.98 with $8 instantly taken off and printed an $8 catalina! I also had 2-$2 off coupons, so it only cost me $3.98 + tax and I got an $8 cat to use for more! 🙂

    • Cindy

Wow, that is awesome. Has anyone else tried this? Have you gotten an $8 instant savings as well?

  • Kevin

Tried the Buy $15 get $5 deal.
Bought 2 Pantene and 1 Crest Rinse.
Total before price plus was over $15, after coupons and price plus was $7.97
    FAIL, no catalina.
I returned and got back $12.97(full price I paid before coupons)
    WIN.

    • Cindy

Hmm, okay, thanks for sharing. Wondering why it didn’t produce a catalina.

    • Arizia

Just got back from SR, did this deal but had to add the toothpaste too. Then the total was over 15 and got my 5er.

  • MillburnLaura

Anyone try for the Quaker Oats catalina? Seems like a good donation purchase if I can figure out the best deal.

    • Cindy

The catalina is working on the cups. And, you may be able to use the $1/1 Quaker coupons on the cups but it will depend on your store. If you can you can do this deal:

Buy 4 Quaker Cups $1.49 each
      -(4)$1/1 Quaker coupons
      Pay: $1.96
      Get a $2 catalina
all free after coupons & catalina

  • esco

        Boboli Shells 1/2 price $2.29 – $2.24
        Entenmann’s Donuts 1/2 price $1.74 – $2.49

        • Jason

At least that’s what my store is doing. o.o”

        • Cindy

Hmm, interesting. Mine is a catalina

  • Trish

I tried to use the Pennsylvania Dutch Noodle coupon at shoprite and they told me that the coupons were fraudulent. They let me use them but told the cashier that I was the last one. I looked again and I printed them from the manufacturers website so I’m not sure why they would say that but I just wanted to let people know that they might not work.

  • Paige

I was gathering my q’s for use later in the week. Just a heads up to anyone in the south jersey area, the bic razors are on sale for 1.64 starting midweek, I don’t have the b1g1 coupon but have a $2/1 for bic making them free with possible overage (.35)

  • Mel

Hi everyone! I am new to the coupon world…. wanted to know if anyone has any extra super coupons? I am in the philly area and have not seen this. Thanks!

    • Benee

      Hi Mel
What part of the Philly area are you PA suburbs or NJ suburbs? If NJ I can tell you w’here to get them.

      • Mel

        Hi Benee
I am in NE Philly. I am near the Tacony Palmyra Bridge. hth

        • Benee

IF you are familiar with the Cherry Hill or Cinnaminson area you Can get on on the Shoprite on Rt70 in the shopping center next to wegmans where the Old Country Buffet is or try the the one on RT130 south bound cross the TPB and take RT 73 to RT130 North the store is at the first light but on the opposite side of the street in the same shopping center as Burlington Coat Factory, I think this one is closer about 5-7mins from the bridge. IF you need more info email me LBIS12@verizon.net

          • mel

Thanks Benee! Do either of these SR fully double? Here in philly they only double up 0.99.

            • Benee

No both of these only double up to 1.oo but I like the Cinnaminson store better then Cherry Hill because it’s a newer store abou 1-2 years old.

              • Mel

                Thanks!

  • Ashley

I quick question. I tried doing the Cat deal, with the 2 pantene and the crest. 🙁 and didnt get it (as stated above)… now the problem is, my payment was a cat. what are the chances that i will get my money back? (i was just trying to stretch my dollar)

    • Cindy

Well actually, you should be able to call catalina and get it printed that way. Can you tell me if the pantene and the crest rang up at the price I listed with the price plus deduction underneath? If they did, catalina should be able to see that and issue you a catalina.

      • Ashley

-_- unfortunately, it totaled to 13.47 for all three

Under my recipt it came up as:
Crest Pro Health Rinse – 5.49
        Pantene – 3.99
        Pantene – 3.99

I’m assuming it rang up that price because it mentioned something on the tags such as clearance? Something along those lines.

Now like i said before, since this did not work for me,:-) what are the chances that SR will refund me my money that i paid for with my CAT? I really appreciate your help. Is this a YMMV?

        • Cindy

Ashley, wow interesting about a clearance. I would imagine that something that is price adjusted, such as a clearance item, will not work since it will ring up at the clearance price and not at the pre-price plus price. Getting a catalina back will be a YMMV. When you return the items, tell them that you used a catalina to pay for it. If those were the only items you purchased, they will probably be able to give you a Shoprite gift card for the $5. If there were other items on your receipt, then they probably will not give it back as it would have been used for those items.

          • Ashley

Edit* thought it was a clearance. Apparently, im still Super new to this, but i did get the smaller sized bottles. (i wasnt careful enough). Problem is now that i did the deal correctly, with the two pantene’s and crest, i STILL didnt get the CAT. Could i be getting something wrong? The shelf prices tallied up to about 17? Any suggestions?

  • bmedici

ShopRite limits identical coupons to four per check-out. Is this limit computer-enforced or cashier-enforced?

    • Ashley

This has been enforced for a while within most if not all retailers. (i could be wrong tho). If they aren’t enforced by the cashier, consider yourself blessed. So, i would pretty much say it depends. At my Pathmark, the conmupter is the enforcer, i;ve never tried using more than one at any other store.

    • Victoria

I am pretty sure at my SR it will only double the first 4 then after that it is just the value, but I am not 100% sure. HTH

      • Jason

Yes. For coupons under $1, up to 4 identical coupons are doubled, the rest are redeemed at their face value. Some cashiers (like myself) take however many coupons that are over $1 in value, since they will all scan, but beware of the ‘coupon limit reached’, where the system stops taking any more coupons for that transaction.

        • Eileen

just do seperate orders i do all the time

  • George

On the Butterball Ground Turkey deal has anyone tried using the $0.55/1 Butterball Product, exp. 4-17-11 (SS 01/16/11) coupon. I do not remember the coupon being eligible for ground turkey as well. Thoughts….

    • Emily T.

Would also love to know the answer to this…

      • Shannon

I just did it like 30 minutes ago–bought 3 ground turkeys, 93% lean Natural and used the cut outs from SmartSource that expire 4/17. The coupon didn’t refer ground turkey as one of the options but it worked when it rang up, and doubled. So I ended up paying $0.79 for each one (my Shoprite doesn’t totally double).

  • Is there a particular zip code for the ground turkey? When I click on the link…..there is nothing for ground turkey and I need some!!! It’s been a savior for my diet.

  • Francesca

    Hi Cindy,

I think the link for the Frontera Salsa is messed up. It brings me to your post about the lemonde. Can you fix it?

    Thanks!

  • Anonymous

The link to Butterball coupon just bring me to the promotion page…do you think there is no more to print??? Wanted to print yesterday but out of ink…got ink today but now now coupon….UGH!

    • stephanie

The coupons were gone a few days ago. Ones like that go quick. My problem is I have 2 of them but everytime I go into Shoprite they are sold out! LOL

  • Anna

I just love some weeks and how many things I get for free. I have found this website about 6 months ago and I am so happy I did. I am saving monthly about 50% and I can afford more things than I did before. Here is my shopping trip from Saturday:
    – 3 packs of Domino’s sugar ($5.37)
    – Glad wrap ($2.59)
    – Kleenex facial ($1.39)
    – 5 packs of Pennsylvania Dutch noodles ($4.99)
    – 3 bottles of Pepsi ($3.75)
    – bananas ($1.21)
    – 7 packs of Light & Fit yogurt ($6.93)
-2 packs of Swiss Miss pudding ($3.48)
    – Farmland chocolate milk ($2.79)
Before coupons the balance was $32.50. After coupons the balance was $13.50 plus I got all the pasta and 5 packs of yogurts for FREE.

    • Bernell

      this is great!!

  • kristen

is there a trick to obtaining the bar s coupon? this happened for me last time as well, it prints out a coupon for their bacon or bologna, not hot dogs

  • Anna

I just posted how much I saved last Saturday and here is my Sunday’s trip:
    – 5 packs of Butterball turkey ($8.95)
    – 1 pack of Perdue chicken cutlets ($2.51)
    – 1 pack of Perdue chicken nuggets ($2.87)
    – 4 packs of Pennsylvania Dutch noodles ($3.96)
    – 5 packs of SR cream cheese ($3.85)
    – 2 boxes of Hostess mini muffins ($3.98)
    – 2 bags of Wise pretzels ($2.98)
    – 2 packs of Nescafe individual coffees ($1.98)
    – Sun Sweet raisins ($1.99)
    – 2 boxes of Lipton tea ($4.98)
The balance before the coupons was $38.05. I had a coupon for almost each item (except cream cheese) and after coupons I paid $18.87. For some reason I noticed that not all coupons doubled but I think that I still did ok. I brough home again FREE pasta and FREE coffees plus each turkey was only $0.29. This week I plan to go back to receive more cheap meat.

  • Jessica

My shoprite flyer has a super coupon for 3 for $3 on general mills cereal. Can I use a manufacturer coupon with the super coupon?

    • Cindy

Yes you can use manufacturer coupons with a ShopRite Super Coupon

  • Jason

Alright, I have a few questions, if someone would kindly answer them. 😀

    1) Are the 3 for $1 Starbursts an unadvertised deal? And if so, which kind are they, because they usually go for around 69 to 79 cents each.

    2) Is the Santa Cruz lemonade cold or on the shelves?

    TIA, Jason

    • Lisa

Jason, not sure about the Starbursts but the Lemonade is on the shelves, by the juices, not in the cold section.

      • Jason

        Alright, thank you!

Does anyone know about the Starburst deal?

        • Ueen

They are the ones that are originally .69. The 2.17 oz skittles are also 3/1 and the smartsource q applies to skittles as well.

    • Kristine

My juices for the Santa Cruz were in the organic section of food on a shelf.

    • Bree

Jason I had the same question about the Starbursts. :oD

As far as the lemonade, my SR has it in the organic section of the store unchilled. Other SRs I’ve gone to have it in the juice aisle of the store, unchilled as well.

  • Glen

When does the 4 day birdseye sale start? My local shoprite has them at like 1.84 a bag curretly

    • michelle in jersey

Glenn, the sale starts on wednesday on the veggies

      • Glen

Does anyone remember if the Scrubbing Bubbles catalina is still going on. I can’t remember when it ends.

    • ruth

I think it ends on 2/6 but the prices might not be 1.99 anymore. I will take a trip there tomorrow if the weather holds up, we are supposed to get snow again. I will post if the deal is still going on and the prices. The Scrubbing Bubbles catalina is also working at the Giant Stores in PA, the prices are higher though.

      • Cindy

Thanks Ruth. I think you might be right about the prices. Even with the catalina and the new coupon, I think it’s not worth it. CVS is a better price this week

        • Gina

There’s no need to run to the store to check prices anymore. Log on to the shop online option at shoprite.com & search for the product you’re looking for.

          • Ruth

Thanks for the tip, I do personal shopping and this will make my life a lot easier.

            • Gina

This is a great tool for people who want to stay on budget as well. It keeps a running balance so if you stick to your list, you know what your trip will cost (B4 Qs anyway).

  • Jason

Went SR shopping today. Total before coupons was $100+ and total after coupons and catalinas was $2.33 OOP. Had to use cats because my mom bought $20 worth of fruit. 😛 We usually get fruit in Flushing, NY, where it’s ~3 times cheaper, but oh well. 😛 Still have around $30 in cats left.

    • Wow thats awesome Jason, for some reason I don’t get much catalinas at the register! Where in flushing do you buy your fruits n veggies ?

  • Gina

    Cindy,
    There’s a new Muir Glen .75 coupon at coupons.com.
25 oz organic sauce is on sale for $1.33 this week.
    The Q makes it FREE!

  • Gina

    There’s also a new $2 Huggies Coupon, .55 Cocoa Puffs & Polly-O has reset @ coupons.com!

  • Gina

Polly-O mozzarella (16 oz) & ricotta (32oz) cheeses are on sale for $3.99 this week.
Use $1/1 from coupons.com to make them $2.99.

  • Lana

A month ago, I began using coupons. I have a ShopRite next to me which I really love and believed to be a great market. However, since I started using coupons they began to give me attitude. Last week, the manager gave me an attitude about coupons. Yesterday, she did not want to pass more than 1 coupon per the same item. I reminded her about the four coupons per item limit. She said she does not care, all coupons looked the same, I had to show her different bar codes. She was examining them for over 20 minutes and then only let me through because a big line began forming. I felt very discouraged and thinking of stopping couponing. Did anyone else had the same experience and is this normal ?

    • Benee

Don’t stop couponing! Go to another store or talk to the store manager. I have had this happen before, the front end manager said they could not accept a certain coupon and I had her get the manager and the coupons were valid. IF you are a frequent customer or just a customer for that matter you should not be made to feel like you are doing something wrong when you are trying to save money.

    • Bree

Lana your case sounds pretty extreme to me and I would write to corporate. I wouldn’t stop printing coupons either because to be honest, many of the best deals I take advantage of, do require printing coupons from my computer. But, that is your choice and you should do whatever makes you feel comfortable.

I could be wrong, so someone please correct me if I am, but I believe that each ShopRite creates their own rules on whether or not to accept internet coupons. But then again, it’s not uncommon for managers to make up “their own rules” so go a wrung up on the ladder Lana and talk to someone above her [that manager] – maybe your ShopRite DOES take printable coupons.

Just the other day I had a cashier that right before she started scanning my coupons hit DND (“Do Not Double”). NONE of the coupons I had said not to double and all had 5’s at the beginning of their barcodes. I told her that my coupons should’ve doubled and she told me that “she doesn’t double co upons.” It was as if the coupon policy would rely solely on whether or not she’d like to double my coupons! After politely telling her she was wrong several times, she called over the manager and wouldn’t ya know – I was right! Going a wrung up on the ShopRite ladder saved me an additional $20 or so.

    • Ruth

Shop Rite are independently owned so writing to corporate won’t do much, I tried it. However, don’t let the manager or cashiers discourage you, they are just ignorant. It is your money so don’t pay more than you have to because of a bunch of jerks. Go there when you have time so that if they give you hard time, you have the time to deal with them. Print their policy and bring it with you. Don’t get nervous if the line forms behind you, you are a customer like everyone one and it is the manager’s and cashier’s fault that they are taking so long to process your order. Don’t get upset and don’t let them get to you.
ShopRite sucks because the front end managers and cashiers can make up their own rules and there is no one you can call. I had many “arguments” with cashiers at the self checkout and I haven’t lost one argument yet. Now I have no issues with any of the ShopRite that I go to, they know that I don’t cheat when using coupons and they know that I’m right most of the time.

    • PK

Here is a link that might help with the SmartSource coupons. They seem to be the one that my Shoprite is questioning. I plan to print it out and give it to the manager for training.

      http://www.jillcataldo.com/SmartSourceLetterToRetailer.pdf

I won’t stop couponing. It just makes me more determined to walk out of the store with bags of groceries and a big goose-egg on the receipt. My husband loves to show the receipt to the front end supervisor as we leave!

      • Bree

Not to beat a dead horse but …

See on the one hand, I cannot blame SR for being extra careful when accepting computer printed coupons. There are many people out there that lie, cheat, and steal by creating and circulating fake coupons – I don’t think any SR is losing “billions of dollars” because of this, but it definitely does effect their bottom line. And that really does stink because those people ruin it for the rest of us who are playing by the rules and trying to save money. We are not cheating SR by any means because manufactorers reimburse the stores the face value of coupons, plus shipping and handling. SR also wins because regardless of what you came to buy, many of us still pick up an extra item or two not on our list and that’s additional profit for them.

However, I do not think that is any excuse for cashiers/managers to be completely ignorant when it comes to coupons nor treat every coupon-toting customer as a suspect. I think if the managers would just set aside some time to check out SS, RP, and coupons.com so they can see how the coupons look as far as barcodes and the like, they won’t be so mystified when we present them. That could alleviate some of the problems.

I am pretty lucky because my SR is excellent when it comes to coupons in general – I think they do their homework. ;o)

    • Alicia P

Unfortunately I had a similar experience recently at the Poughkeepsie, NY SR. I exceeded the “coupon limit” or whatever – so the cashier (who was super helpful) needed an override. Well, Ms. Override comes over and proceeds to inspect all of my coupons one by one. I had 2 of a certain coupon, which if you read it says, 1 per item. Well, she tells me I can only have 1 per order. I mean, was I stealing $1 from her pocket? NO. I gave her back her crackers, snatched back my coupon, paid and left. When I got hom, I wrote to Shoprite and they actually got back to me saying that many coupons say 1 per order. I wrote back and explained that while that is true for some, the majority of internet coupons today say 1 per item…and the website typically lets you print 2 copies.

So I went again this week and the same situation happened where they needed an override. Well the other lady just came over and scanned her “manager” key and I paid, and left. Unreal. You are totally right about each cashier making up their own rules on a whim. If I had a different shoprite to go to, I would. Ugh. End rant. My point is I’m right there with you!!!!!

      • debbied

go to fishkill its better trust me worth the trip

        • Alicia P

debbie, thanks – i’m thinking it might be worth the extra drive for less aggravation!!!

  • sarah

I have had several similar experiences at my two local stores 🙁 I was treated so poorly at one store, I refuse to shop there anymore and have written several emails to corporate about it. I haven’t given up, I just no longer use printables because it’s not worth the hassle since they never take them and it was just wasting ink 🙂 I order coupons online and am able to get tons of deals every week as they never give a problem with coupons from the paper. Good luck, and keep it up…it’s well worth it!

  • Lana

Thank you for great feedback. Majority of the coupons that I use are the once I print at home. Where or how can I order the same coupons?

    • Ruth

eBay has good prices, coupondede.com also sells whole inserts which are the best deal. I also go the Dollar Tree on Sunday and buy papers for 1.00.

  • mahal

    Gina,
The muir glen coupon says DO NOT DOUBLE on it. So will it be free at shoprite this week?

    • Bree

Mahal that would depend on whether it has a “5” at the beginning of the barcode. If it does, it will automatically double unless the cashier hits the dredded DND button [do not double]. If it has a “9” at the beginning, it will NOT double regardless of what the cashier does.

    • Gina

      Mahal,
The bar code does start with a 5 so, like Bree said, it will automatically double unless you have a cashier who reads everything on your Qs.

  • Bree

Can someone tell me … is there a limit on the Starburst candy (4 per variety, 3 per customer, etc.)? I’m wondering whether or not I’ll have to do a seperate transaction and I like to plan ahead of time. :o)

    • Cindy

Min of 3 starbursts to get the 3 for $1 and maximum of 12 or 4 offers.

  • Anonymous

Hi- my friend refered me to this site for shoprite matchups since we live in South Jersey. This is awsome thank you for the list option!

  • Glen

Quick question for the crowd. Is limit one offer per transaction, day, or week? Can they track how many u have purchased on the price plus card?

    • stephanie

Hi Glen! I dont think they track b/c I bought the Bailey’s creamers that were on sale 3 for 4 bucks. I bought 4 for 1.33 on Sunday and just bought 4 more today for 1.33 to stock up. 4 is the limit per transaction not per sale ☺
      Happy shopping!!

  • Ashley

Quick question…. I recently got a cat Q for the clairol. Now if i do the deal twice, i get 4 bottles, i will be getting 2 $8 CAT’s in return correct?? Thanks in advance.

  • cris

I don’t know if anyone has said this or not, so forgive me if it’s a repeat. Keep in mind that Shop Rite allows both store coupons and manufacturer’s coupons on the same item (stacking) I found some Tostitos $1 coupons on the shelf a few weeks ago, and was saving them for a good time. So today, I purchased the 4 cases of Pepsi using the $8.88 SR store coupon, and got the 2 bags of Tostitos for free. To make it even sweeter, I used 2 of those manufacturer’s $1 off coupons, and they were accepted, so I got 4 cases of soda and 2 bags of Tostitos for $6.88. SWEET!

  • Dawn

  • Anna

Cindy-I have a question regarding Butterball turkey meat. Why did you cross it out already?.

    • Cindy

I was told that the coupon was gone. Is it still available?

      • Siri

I printed it this morning and used it today!

  • Laurie M.

I finally got around to ShopRite tonight and they were out of Butterball ground turkey and Perdue frozen chicken nuggets, tenders and strips 🙁

    • Lisa

Did you happen to ask someone if they had more in the back? When I went the other day the shelf was wiped clean, I asked one of the butcher guys and he brought out 2 cases from the back. 🙂

    • Michelle

Don’t forget that you can always ask for a raincheck.

      • Chris

What is the perdue deal? Is it just on sale or is there a coupon? I know we have those $1/1 on the frozen whole grain stuff but didnt think it was part of this sale.

        Thanks.

  • Rebecca

Quick question for the south jersey people! I am thinking about switching shoprites. i currently shop at the Garden State Pavillion on rt 70 but I am thinking of switching to Cinnaminson on Rt 130. Does anyone else shop at cinnaminson? How are they with coupons? I can’t stand Garden State Pav anymore. Each week they are banning another internet coupon. They will not take any SS or those printed from the catalina coupon site. They only like bricks because they say “verified”. The store considers any others fraudulent. It’s just too frustrating when you put so much time into each week and it all unravels at the register!! Any input would be wonderful! Thanks!

    • Benee

      Rebecca,

I like the Cinnaminson store better then Cherry Hill, I have never had a problem with coupons there. It’s also a newer store and it’s much cleaner and better stocked then the Pavillions store. Hope this helps.

    • Anonymous

I go to SR in Marlton and Mt Laurel on union mill rd. Mt laurel has no issues with coupons, I hand them my stack every week. They r mostly young kids so they just scan them, they don’t want the hassle. Marlton is great for Ur 20 items or less and then go thru self check. They redid the registers so it’s smooth sailing when scanning coupons. Just did it today for the purdue turkey. Just scanned the coupon and dropped it into the slit. So far no hassles for me. Hope this helps, happy shopping !!

      • becky

Thanks for tips! I had the BEST experience in Cinnaminson today, they took all my coupons and the store was very clean. I will definitelt be going there from now on.

  • love couponing

Just wanted to say “THANK YOU” for all living rich with coupon members. I can’t shop without checking this website first. I tell everyone i meet about this site. Absolutly the best!!!!!!

  • Melanie

I just wanted to mention that the 1/1 Orville redenbacher coupons that suggested we use from ALL YOU are for the 6 pack, not the 3-pack which is what is listed in the ad for the promtion of buy 2 get one Canada Dry.

  • Ashley B

    Hi Cindy,
I saw this posted somewhere else regarding the BIC Razors from the 4-day sale.

Bic Twin Select Mens or womens Razors – 1.64
Use $2/1 from the 1/9 SS
    = FREE

    • Ashley B

Oops never mind, I only see the BOGO in my insert….did anyone get the $2/1?

      • Gina

        I have the $2/1 Q but I’m not sure where/when I got it.

  • sarah

has anyone tried the Unilever Catalina deal with 4 dove deoderants and 1 vasaline lotion? Comes to $4.95 after coupons and .05 Money maker after catalina. I was just wondering because I was thinking of trying that deal out.

  • John

As an FYI I went to 2 different Shoprites to grab the Feline Pine. The first was out and the second was empty on the shelf but had some up top. At both stores I was told that they were on sale 1/2 off because they are no longer going to sell it. So, if true, get some while you can.

    • Stephenie

Also, Look for 30% bonus bags – the bottom of the bag is yellow and says 30% bonus – same price as 7 lb bags but you get 9.1lbs instead

  • hi i have a quick question..
for the buy 4 12 packs of soda get 2 tostitos(or doritos) free.. can i use the $1/2 tostitos coupon towards that?

  • Maria D.

Not sure if this was already posted. I have a $2.00 coupon for any BIC Disposable shaver. I checked the database but it is not listed. Not sure where it came from because I clip all my coupons. Just wanted to give a heads up to check your batch. It would make the shavers Free.

    • Gina

Thank you for this post; I totally forgot about that coupon. I’m getting free razors today!

    • Shari

It came from the 1/9 SS on the back cover. Mine was from the South Jersey Courier Post.

  • Glen

Can anyone from morris county tell me what coupons come in the Daily Record and which days? I get the star ledger and the RedPlum comes on thursday, and the sunday usually has SS and P&G. I am looking for a paper that i can go pick up just once a week. Thanks!

    • Kathy

      This is what I know.

The Daily record never has a P&G.
The New Jersey Herald and the Daily Record have the exact same coupons for Redplum, Smartsource and the occasional General Mills and also has the P&G when it is included.
The Star Ledger usually has the best coupons and all the coupon books.
The Bergen Record has all the coupon books as the Star Ledger and sometimes has other coupons that are not in the Star Ledger. Hope this helps.

      • Glen

Just what i was looking for. I will prolly start picking up the Sunday Daily record, now if I can only find a local dollar store that sells them.

    • Julie

Glen – I get the Daily Record delivered daily and receive the coupons in the Sunday paper. I get the Star Ledger delivered on Thursday and Sunday and receive coupons on both days. I was told that which coupons you get depends on where you live so it may be different by you.

  • Bree

Booo … no Starbursts to be found at my SR. 🙁 Only had the big bags!

    • Marcia

Did you look in the candy display at the checkout registers? Thats where the small size candy is. Skittles also works.

  • Beth

I had a $2.00 off any one disposable pack of Bic razors coupon in my 1/9/2011 SS. I got the Bic Disposable Razors 10ct – $1.64 for free and overage!

    • Jenny

Thanks beth for saving me looking through all my coupons. I found it and I have 4!! Thanks

    • Marcia

I can confirm that this $2 coupon sails right thru for overage!

  • Jen From Philly

Did anyone happen to use the $2 Oscar Mayer carving board meat coupon yet? Just wondering if it is definitely one of the ones on sale

  • kate

I needed sour cream this week and noticed the friendship was .99 after googling i realized you had posted a .55/1 coupon back in november. i was able to print 2. yay free sour cream.

  • Anonymous

I went to SR this morning to pick up a few things. I did the Orville Redenbacher deal buy 2 get a ltr of soda for free. On the popcorn it has a code for a free redbox movie. Free soda and a movie can’t beat it. The popcorn was seperate in its own kiosk.

  • PK

Has anyone else tried using the $2.00 Advil coupon available at advil’s website? SR has it for $4.49 with a $1.00 CAT. My SR wouldn’t accept the coupon because it didn’t have a website printed on it to prove where I got it. But I called Pfizer this morning and they have had numerous complaints about SR and will mail you a coupon. Doesn’t help for this sale but hopefully another one in the future. I am going to take the information from the rep I talked to (she gave me her name and phone number) and give it to the supervisor who pulled the coupon.

  • Marisa

Just wanted to give you all the heads up on a few things.

Please note Fisher Dry Roasted Peanuts 1.74 12-14 oz.are on sale NOT the Emerald. The flyer has a picture of Emerald nuts by accident.

I went to register with 3 Butterball ground turkeys and 2 squarish coupons and 1 long coupon for butterball, only the long one was accepted for some reason. Still a good deal on lean ground though…

Be careful on the Arnold GRAINS and MORE (for catalina). It is only Grains and More for 2.14…NOT the whole grain. They look almost identical.
