Register: Walgreens Loyalty Card

i registered online but never got a card. is there something special i need to do to get my card, maybe go to the store? i do most shopping online.
I didn’t get a card either but when you go to the store you have to put in the phone no used when you registered and your account info will come up its not the complicated but I agree with the others that Walgreens can be a pain I always have issues with coupons when I go there but never at CVS
Is it just me or has this new loyalty card and rewards points system just made things WAY more complicated at Walgreens? I honestly can’t tell anymore without calculating all kinds of things if I’m getting a deal or not here. Maybe they like it that way, but all it’s done for me is make me shop at RiteAid and CVS more & Walgreens used to be the pharmacy I went to the most because its closest to my house. I get a headache every time I look at the sale flyer and try to see if there’s anything worth going there for. It’s too overwhelming and not worth the effort.:(
You do save but you should only buy the items that you have coupons for and get points and then it’s a win win for you.
I totally agree…no more Walgreens for me!
I couldn’t agree more. Walgreens has made me not want to shop there. I could not buy a sale item without registering for the rewards card. Why bother? I know when I save money at other stores because I simply price compare. A 1.99 Snickers bar at Walgreens is not a savings when I can buy it for 1.59 elsewhere.
I noticed that my rewards points are going down even though I have not used them. They are not supposed to expire for 36 months. very confusing
I haven’t noticed my points declining yet but I will definitely keep an eye on it but you should call customer service and see why that is happening. I don’t have a problem calling if I see or have an issue.
I walked in the store to buy candy that was on sale a month ago. The cashier told me it was on sale as long as I had a Reward Card! I did not like that at all.I agree….I feel its a way of forcing you to give up your personal information. It is very im-personal. I cannot get a sale unless I have a card? That is not fair.
You should sign up for the card it’s a win for you if what you are buying is Something you want and they give you rewards for it go for it. Giving the information up for gaining rewards to use later is in your best interest I think.
the MOST ANNOYING thing about these rewards is that they aren;t just “5 bucks off”, like CVS or catalinas. Its “% off a purchase of 20″.
i mean!!! really… it isn;t worth it at all! and they aren;t even valid on most things. very unfair.
*sorry*
“5 off 20″
