  • Target sucks butt

I know someone affected. Yea Merry Christmas. 10%? Wow.

  • Anon.

Just went there and they are NOT giving ANYONE 10% off today, Dec 21. They did not have a clue what I was talking about and this has been all over the internet. So disappointed in them!

It should have been automatic. Id go back to the store with the official press release from their website!!there were exclusions

    • Mari Rodriguez

I did two transactions and got 10% off twice..I bought food…toilet paper and laundry soap..I didn’t know about it..So I was pleasantly surprised ( I used 1 coupon & gift cards) and it worked.* :))

I went to Target today and got the 10% discount even with using my manufacturer and Target coupons. There were simple printout signs at the front of the store where they display the weekly circular that said announced the discount for the 21st and the 22nd. I asked the cashier about it as well and she pointed to a printout near her register with a barcode that she would scan for every order.

Hi Anon- if you have the time to do so, I would go back and ask for a refund of the 10%, there were no stores excluded from this offer, and it is clearly posted on the Target website under discounts and promotions, and there was a video message from the CEO announcing the offer, so there is absolutely no reason that they should not have known what you were talking about! Im sorry that you are having a hard time with the offer, and I hope that you are able to get a refund!

I went to Target today and went to check out and she automatically gave the 10% off. I was not expecting it bc i was not using the target card . She said everyone gets it. It wasa nice surprise!

  • Hz202

Annoying, I went on the 21st and did not get my 10% either. i didn’t think about it until now.

Purchased a Wii U console on 12/21 and asked the clerk during the transaction about the 10% off special. He said it did not include video games or video game consoles. I had heard about it on a news report not a Target ad so I figured the news report was incomplete, but looking at their website Target specifically states that Xbox and Playstation are excluded. No mention of Wii U. I am pursuing this.

My credit card was compromised due to an earlier purchase at Target. Had to cancel the card and order a new one. Thought I could at least benefit from the 10% discount. Went to Target and they refused to give a discount. Added insult to injury. Lost all faith in Target. Never again.

    • Sunil

That sucks. Sorry to hear it. How did you find out for sure that your credit card was compromised?

    • Jenn

I also had to cancel my card and get a new one. I don’t know if I’ll be shopping at Target any time soon.
