Last week I was sick, my husband was away and things just didn’t go as planned. We were able to keep to 4 out of the 6 planned meals (family gathering for #7) but we wound up picking up take out food. Luckily I had cash in the “eating out” budget but, I wiped it out. So this week we have to remove eating out from the menu until we replenish our envelopes.
Here is our plan for this week.
- Tilapia w/ rice & veggies
- Pasta w/ meatballs (sauce & meatballs in the freezer)
- Chicken Stirfry
- Mini Meatloaves, potato, salad (recipes to come, these are so good)
- Homemade Pizza
- Grilled Porkchops, Noodles, Salad
- Breakfast for Dinner

Yeah we wiped out the rest of this months eating out budget this week when the person cooking dinner didn’t read their recipe properly and didn’t realise until it was nearly the time we usually have dinner that their chosen recipe would take another hour and a half.
We had that the next day instead.
