How to Save Money on Groceries at ShopRite

Of course, the number one way to save money at Shoprite, or any store for that matter, is to use coupons.  But, taking advantage of the store promotions is another way to save.

Here are some of the promotions that are offered at ShopRite.  If you are not taking advantage of them, be sure to sign up and check them out.

  • Reusable Bag:  Make sure to use your reusable bags.  Each bag used saves you $0.05.
  • ShopRite Family Rewards: This program is one of the easiest programs.   You get reward for buying products from these participating brands: Kraft, Kellogg’s, Nestle, ConAgra, Campbells and more.
Simply sign up with ShopRite Family Rewards and earn points each time you purchase a product from a participating brand.   You don’t even have to track it because your points print out at the bottom of your receipt. When you collect 100 points you can earn $2 off on your order or you can choose from other options such as song downloads, redbox movie rentals and more.  It’s simple and easy.
  • eLabels for Education: You can electronically college Labels for Education points.  Simply register your Price Plus Card and select the school you would like to donate to.  Every time you purchase participating Labels for Educcation products, your school will automatically receive points for each item purchased.
  • Digital Coupon:  ShopRite has their own Digital eCoupons that you can load onto your Price Plus card.  And, actually, it looks like they are now including ShopRite brand product coupons as well.  So be sure to register your Price Plus Card so you can clip the coupons directly onto your card.  They will be deducted right at checkout.  The question always comes up about whether or not you can use a paper coupon with these.  The answer is sometimes yes and sometimes no.  It does not always work so you may want to choose one or the other.  Also, these do not double and can only be used once.
  • Cellfire Coupons:  Cellfire coupons load directly onto your Price Plus card.  These, like the Digital Coupons above, come off at checkout.  You can stack a manufacturer coupon with the cellfire coupon.  Cellfire coupons do not double and can only be used once.  Be sure to register your Price Plus card with cellfire
  • ShopRite LiveRight Book:  Be sure to look for the ShopRite LiveRight Book.  The book will sometimes contain Shoprite Coupons that you can stack with manufacturer coupons for even more savings.  You can also view and print the coupons online.  If your store does not carry the book, you can contact Wakefern and they will mail you a copy of the latest book.

Also, I have added a new link that takes you directly to the  ShopRite Coupon Match Ups post.  So, if you are just looking for the match ups, you can go directly to the that link.  But, you can still access the  ShopRite Updates so you don’t miss any of the new deals that have popped up during the week.  These links are also available on the “Find My Store” tab above as well as the categories tab in the sidebar.

And, don’t forget to check out the Coupon Policy page for links and Coupon Policies for all the stores covered on LRWC.
