Printable CouponsThe US Department of Agriculture has calculated the cost of feeding a family of four based on “national food intake data and grocery price information” concluding that it ranges from $146-$289 per week ($146/week for a thrifty spending plan, $191/week for a low-cost plan, $239 for a moderate-cost plan, and $289 for a liberal plan). While inflation was about 26%, the increase in food went up 32% and a healthy food plan rose 38% from ten years ago.

With the rising cost of food and healthy eating, finding ways to save money are important. Saving on your weekly food shop can be easy by shopping sales and using printable coupons, buying produce in season and purchasing store brands.
