I really wish they sold normal 8 ounce packages of mushrooms during these dollar sales. The 6 ounce pack is a decent deal, but you really need to think of it as $1.33 ifyou were buying the normal size container.

Two free items with MyMixx this weekend (clip by Sunday, redeem by Monday):
Sara Lee Artesano Golden Wheat Bread
    Splenda Naturals

    • JDE424

Update: The email has a picture of both types of the bread on it, but only the Golden Wheat variety will work with the e-coupon. My store was out of Golden Wheat so they substituted the original.

    • MisterBill

There is an Ibotta offer for the Splenda, but it excludes Acme. Very disappointing. I don’t understand why, since Albertsons is listed, and it’s the same company.

There’s also a S* for $5 back when you spend $20 of Spenda, but I’m not getting anywhere near $20.

      • Yan

i submitted two receipts from acme with the free splenda, s* only credited me 1 cent per splenda

        • MisterBill

I didn’t even bother trying given that I wasn’t getting to $20. I guess that’s the downside to Acme going to receipt submission.

        • JDE424

I don’t think MyMixx ever associated paper or digital coupons with the purchases for SavingStar when they were connected so it was based off the regular/sale price. Now with receipt submission the MyMixx coupons show up directly underneath the items which can affect the totals for the “One or Many” or “Always On” rewards. It is starting to work similar to Safeway’s receipt scanning, where on the receipt there is a clear “price you pay” that is listed for each item after sales, digital coupons, J4U discounts, and paper & multiplied coupons. SavingStar uses that price to determine the appropriate credits. At ACME we still have the benefit that paper & multiplied coupons appear at the bottom of the receipt and don’t list the items that they were used on so that primarily doesn’t play a factor unless you have a small order.

Hatfield Ham Steaks are B1G1. There is an Ibotta $1 rebate as well that can be redeemed up to 3 times.
Also, the Arla Cream Cheese is $1.99 until Thursday. The regular price is $3.29, so if you have the coupon for a free one, be sure to get it by Thursday before the sale ends since the max value of the coupon is $2.99.

Check your store for Ronzoni Gluten Free Spaghetti on clearance for $.99. I bought 3 of these and there are 2 Ibotta rebates ($0.50 Ronzoni, $1 Ronzoni Gluten Free) that can be redeemed up to 3 times for a $1.53 moneymaker.

    • MisterBill

Did you redeem both offers? That was posted as a deal at SR and someone wrote that Ibotta would flag your account if you redeemed two offers for the same item.

      • JDE424

I was able to redeem both and didn’t even have to scan the items into the system. After I scanned the receipt, both offers automatically appeared for me to redeem. If they are concerned about us redeeming both, then their system shouldn’t automatically do it for us.

        • MisterBill

That’s odd about them being pre-selected. Did you scan them to see if they qualified for the offers while in the store? Was the quantity already set to 3?

          • JDE424

I scanned one box in store just to confirm that the spaghetti would work for the gluten-free offer. I didn’t even know that the other offer was even valid for these until it showed up automatically. Once I scanned the receipt, both offers showed up for redemption, I didn’t have to scan any of the items, and the quantity was already set at 3 for each so I didn’t even have to change that.

          • Yan

i noticed that when i take pictures of the receipt on my older iphone the ibotta system is able to pick up most of the rebates and pre-select and verify for you whereas on my android phone i would need to go through the rebate list, select the items + quantity, and verify the items

            • MisterBill

Is that specific to Acme or at other stores as well? I could see it working at Acme since it has the UPC’s on the receipt.

Meanwhile I checked the spaghetti at a local Acme and it was $1.99. I was at two different stores today and naturally forgot to check the price there.

              • Yan

All the stores–shoprite, Walmart, target, etc. It’s about 90% accurate. Sometimes it misses some items, but sometimes it thinks you bought an item that qualified for a rebate but didn’t.

Same, no clearance for the ronzoni here either.

Note about stacking MyMixx store e-coupons with promotional savings based on my purchase today: I purchased one of the Lucerne novelties on sale for $3.50 with additional promotional savings that brought it down to $1.99. I had a MyMixx store e-coupon for $0.75 off, so I was expecting to pay $1.24. However, their system takes the MyMixx coupon off first, and then the promotional savings which was pre-programmed to make the price $1.99. So $0.75 was removed, and then only an additional $0.76 instead of the full $1.51. I have had this problem in the past with MyMixx store e-coupons interfering with promotional savings (usually items advertised with limits). I did not have any issue with MyMixx manuf. e-coupons and promotional savings; that combination worked for the Progresso soup last week.

    • geoff84

Interesting. How do you know whether a particular e-coupon is MyMixx store or MyMixx manufacturer?

      • JDE424

Store e-coupons are usually for the store brands or for the Saturday Morning Sampler deals. However, there are occasionally store e-coupons for national-brand products in the ads and there were a lot of them during the Monopoly promotion last year.
Typically, anything also available to be printed online is a manuf. e-coupon. However, some of the Saturday Morning Sampler deals have been manuf. e-coupons which is confusing especially since you can stack paper coupons with store coupons but not manuf. coupons.

    • MisterBill

Interesting that you had that problem. I don’t use MyMixx coupons much so I can’t share experiences using them. But I know that when using just a paper coupon on items with promotional savings, the paper coupon will fully double, even if it makes the item better than free.
