Haven’t filed your federal taxes just yet? If you need a bit more time – Tax Day 2020 has been moved to July 15th!
That includes filing your taxes as well as paying your taxes to the IRS. It gives us an additional 3 months if needed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. This includes individual & business taxes.
They are encouraging people to file as early as possible, especially if you will get a refund check!
So in conclusion: Both Payments and Returns are both due by July 15th if you need the extra time.
