Extreme Couponing Tip: Don’t Leave for Tomorrow What You Can Print Today
This week’s Extreme Couponing Tip is inspired by reader Rejane’s awesome quote “Don’t leave for tomorrow what you can print today.” I just love that saying and it couldn’t be more true for an extreme couponer! This is a reminder to print coupons, especially “hot” coupons right away because they may be no longer available to print sooner than you think! This is a basic rule for an extreme couponer and one that will never get old!
An example of how this rule really came into practice recently was this past week with the awesome, high value $1.50/1 Mott’s for Tots printable coupon that was available. This coupon is awesome in and of itself. It makes for super cheap juice at many stores, however last week it also paired with a gas points deal at Stop & Shop where you could have scored up to an $11.00 money maker if you can fill up 35 gallons of gas.
I have access to 3 computers at home, so I quickly printed my 6 coupons as soon as I became aware of the coupon. I’ve been doing this long enough to know a coupon with that high value probably wouldn’t last long! And it sure didn’t! By the next morning many of you were super disappointed to see the coupon was no longer available to print. Unfortunately there are times we’re going to miss out on coupons however when a hot coupon pops up, if you can get to a computer, be sure to take the time and print those high value coupons as soon as you can because we don’t want you to be disappointed 😉
Another hot coupon we saw come and go quickly this week was the $2/1 Hatfield Bourbon BBQ Ham Steak Coupon. The value of this coupon alone tells us not to wait to print!
So take it from us, print coupons that you think you will use right away. Don’t wait! Again as Rejane beautifully put, “Don’t leave for tomorrow what you can print today.” 😉
