CVS Shopping Trip

When I woke up on Sunday morning and checked my CVS app, I found ZERO new deals for the week.  Nothing!  My first reaction of course is BUMMER.   But then I remembered about a little treasure that printed on my CVS receipt from last week:  $10/$50 total purchase!   I think we all know how easy it is to spend $50 at CVS.  This to me is even better than specific “select shopper” coupons because you can use it on anything!  So I checked my manufacturer coupons, went back to our weekly match ups and went to work!  The total cost of this shopping trip was $1.37 after coupons, rebates and Extra Bucks Rewards…..for over $61 worth of products!  DON’T BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU DON’T GET SPECIAL OFFERS EVERY SUNDAY ON YOUR CVS app.  There are still plenty of ways to score great deals!

Did everyone get their FREE Gold Emblem abound Nut Bars and Garnier Fructis Shampoo/Conditioners?  Freebies are always first on my list!  Especially when they are as easy as these.

The Goldfish 4 oz. boxes are are sale for $1.00 this week.  That’s the same price as the 2 oz. boxes!  Coupon or no coupon, I wasn’t passing them up at that price.  My kids take them with their lunches every day!

Below is a complete list of what was purchased.  You can see the breakdown for each making it very easy for you to mix and match deals and know exactly how much each deal costs.

These are the CVS coupons used in this transaction:

REMEMBER: Extra Care Bucks have an expiration date so you want to be sure and use them before they expire.  I am already planning how to use the ECBs I earned on this shopping trip for my next shopping trip!

Be sure to share your favorite deals this week as well. Happy Savings!
