Even More Ways to Save
Zero to Stockpile
Shopping trip #3 on my Zero to Stockpile journey is down in the books.
My focus on this trip was mostly the canned items that are a great price this week at ShopRite with their can can sale. I could have scored an even better deal on the Tuttorosso products if I still had my coupons from last month but, my challenge is to be like a brand new couponer and so, I don’t have those coupons any more. {enter sad face here}.
Another thing we still needed, for this week and for our stockpile, was toilet paper. There were a few places that had a great deal including Costco, CVS and Rite Aid. In the end, the ShopRite deal was the best for me for a couple of reasons. First, it was the lowest out of pocket and for me, right now, that’s important. And second, after the catalina promotion, it was really the best price.
Unfortunately the deal hasn’t been working right with some people getting it and some people not. But, after Barb ventured out to test the deal and it worked, I was game. But, the party was short lived because it did not print for me at my store. I put in a ticket with Catalina Marketing so we will see what happens. Fingers crossed I get it.
After this shopping trip I have $30 left in my budget for the week. Today, in the Zero to Stockpile Facebook group, I talked about what I was planning on doing with that money including items on my big stockpile list for the next few weeks. I was also chatting about my thoughts on lopsided stockpiles that won’t actually feed your family but you are sure to have clean teeth and hair ;). So, be sure to head over there to watch.
